Hey, I’m back. Did you think this forum might have been dead? Wrong. Well, the news about AB is rare, so it’s hard to keep an update on it.

So, there’s a new AB game. It’s Angry Birds POP 2! Yeah, they created another puzzle game, and of course, it includes AB Movie characters, in an old-school cartoon style. It also has a character level system, which is odd.

Also, I bet this is late news, but the official AB Evolution forum is shutting down on 22 June. So people have to go for an alternate social website. Here are the websites to continue the discussion about it:

UPDATE: Following the release of AB POP 2, a new series featuring the same artstyle, Angry Birds MakerSpace, will be released soon on their official channel. This series will feature both birds and pigs who are trying the new technology.

Hi, friends! Halloween season is coming, but still, Rovio has no plans for it right now since it is celebrating NASA’s 60th anniversary. Rovio since has released a new mini-series, Angry Birds Zero Gravity, where Red, Chuck, and Bomb are in space as astronauts (not in their AB Space style, which is dead). I’m glad that this channel is still making some original AB animation, even if it’s just a short video.

Also, there’s now Angry Birds fashion too! Which looks weird and actually good too BTW. But I think they have overdone it with the awkward bird-like angry eyebrows.

Also, remembered Hatch, Rovio’s mobile game streaming app? In that app, you play games without installing them, one of the games obviously being the original Angry Birds, and other games like Monument Valley, Sonic Jump, etc. German users now don’t need to worry about the data usage, as this is going to be free for them. If you want to get the app, then sorry, it is still in beta for some countries.

That’s all the news I’ve got here. Aah, this series used to be good and popular, and now it’s a thing of the past. I hope Rovio do something for it, like actually making a game rather than reuploading their animation episodes as compilations (and then reupload them again as surprise compilations!). Let’s just wait until the AB Movie 2.

BONUS: In Thorpe Park Resort, there is a “4D” Angry Birds cinema, in which you can have an exclusive AB experience and watch AB Toons episodes, with the now added vibration to seats, much like when you get vibration on the game controller while playing games. Although many people might not get to see it, you can watch this exclusive movie made just for the cinema, as it is now available online. It references most of the AB games.

Hey friends! Today, Rovio posted a video about their new AB game, and also the first VR game! You already get it, it’s Angry Birds FPS! (does not include guns)

 

They still use their movie designs, but at least they came back to their roots of classic slingshot shooting. Physics look off as the TNT box got destroyed after falling but didn’t create a blast wave. What do you think about it?

I have the “3 reasons” for it.

1. Most people would have probably completed the story (including the ‘endless’ dungeon).
2. Most people would also have collected and maxed all gear.
3. There’s not much replayability after you did all stuff. There will be events cycling every time, but you’ll be playing the same events every year with the same rewards.

Hi friends! Not a lot is going on for this series. You may probably know that those “original live-action and animated content” that I mentioned in the previous post were actually these three shows which you already know about it right now:

• Piggy Tales: 4th Street- The latest animated series from Rovio, featuring those piggies (in movie style, of course) in their own world, Pig City.
• Fun Game Coding- Their first real-life series, where the devs from Rovio will talk about how to do coding while visualizing it with funny animations of piggies.
• BirLd Cup- Another live-action series in which two junior football teams, accompanied with 2 professional football players each, will compete on 10 different challenges to win the “BirLd Cup”. This also includes short animated appearances of Red, Chuck, and the piggies.

And now, there’s a new Angry Birds theme park named Angry Birds World in Qatar! It is said to be the biggest entertainment park yet. For now, only the indoor section is open to the public, with the outdoor section coming soon. This theme park has lots of arcade games and rides, and they are not just based on their slingshot gimmick, but the themes are based on most Angry Birds games like GO!, Epic, and Stella. It looks like there is a vast variety of those things, so there’s a lot to do there. I think it’s a great way to introduce this series to the Arabian audience.

Hello friends! It’s been very long since I made a news update here. You may probably hear about this news, but if not, then I’ll tell you. Rovio is now making lots of plans for their Angry Birds franchise. Sadly, no plans for games. Here’s what’s going on if you don’t know yet:

• The Angry Birds Movie 2, a sequel of the film, to be released on September 2019.
• A new, long-episode animated series planned for 2020.
• An AB competition TV series, live stage shows, and location-based entertainment events.
• Original live action and animated content for their YouTube channel.
• Lots of new apparels, accessories, stationery, and toys to hit the stores soon, which are mostly based on their movie, AB Evolution, and the Bad Piggies.
• Many promotional food items from Chupa Chups and other well-known food brands from different regions.
• Promotions with Sonic restaurants and Hostess products, with in-app bonuses for AB Match.

So it’s a very long time to make things hyped. Let’s hope that they do something awesome with this series, possibly reviving it.

This was happened only in the first time. My connection is average, so it took a while after loading the infrastructure. I leave it for some time and it loaded. I’m using it in Bluestacks N, and it didn’t lag very much in load times.

Yeah, @kathy. If they only make some original games. They scrapped off some of their games too which may be going to work great. Now they are just making their movie-style matching games.

Hi friends! I know, it’s been too long since Angry Birds has been in a dormant state (although old apps are still updating as it is), and now the PvP arena is at maintenance for AB Epic until October. As you already know that Toons.TV has been shut down, Rovio’s YT channel is the only place to watch all their AB and PT series. Today, I watch the first(?) episode of Piggy Tales: 4th Street. It got removed immediately after I watched it. Looks like they accidentally uploaded it as you can see the video’s file name.

I don’t know if they even upload it or not, so I’ll tell you what happened in it. If you are one of their notification squad, you already knew it, or if not, then it’s a SPOILER!

A pig was playing hopscotch until another pig called for help, who is stuck on a tree (why did you even climb?). So the 1st pig grabs the rope lying just under it, just like you get a key item in Legend of Zelda (do you know, AB Evolution has references from them, like the ocarina). The 1st pig then throws the rope dramatically, only to find it hasn’t even flown a meter than its height. Then he tried tying a stone to give it velocity, but the pig didn’t have that velocity. Then he used the snake charmer trick, only to bite back. Then he makes a lasso and catches the 2nd pig. And now what, that 2nd pig jumped from the tree, and maybe cracked his head (what?). The 1st pig, being happy to rescue the 2nd pig, goes back to play his game again.

This episode was just straight too dumb, they didn’t even be creative for this. I don’t know what is going on in Rovio’s HQ, maybe running out of ideas and cash out from matching games?

I’m late to the party, but I actually got this for free! When I open the purchase, I cancel it, and the game bypassed the purchase check for that, giving these stuff for free. Now my friends are jealous.

I don’t know if you would come to this old post or not, but you can download Remix OS as either a second OS or as an application.I know, it’s too late, but I figure this out about it when I was finding a replacement for BlueStacks 2/3.  I don’t want to replace an OS for an OS (although it allows you to run both of them, one at a time.)

Remix OS Player is the application’s name. From this, you can use Remix OS without limiting to your Windows processes. You can find this link on the FossHub link. After you download the player, you can easily record Remix OS using any Windows screen recorder like Bandicam or Fraps, as it is running in an OS but not as an OS. If you don’t want to download, then you can also download the OS in a virtualbox, but it’s a lengthy process.

I don’t know what’s next for Rovio. Things didn’t go too well for them. No new updates have been received for any games rather than as bug fixes. There’s no news for any new game though. Nor about the sequel to the AB movie.

I… don’t have a phone. So I play all those games with my mouse right-handed in PC through Bluestacks. But when it comes to playing on a phone, I prefer left thumb for all the classic AB games and right index finger for ABEpic. I sometimes use my middle right finger too, if my fingers feel so lazy to move, so most people mistake me that I can simultaneously play app games and wipe the screen of my phone.

Hi friends! Today I thought to share some Angry Birds related videos created by so many people in YouTube (Bcoz nothing much about AB is going on right now). Just remind you that some have cuss words.

These four videos are made by Dorkly, a channel which creates funny parody videos of video games. They created four of them!

Back when Angry Birds Star Wars II was just released for PC, gamer YouTuber JackSepticEye (when he have about 1.5M subs), created a gameplay video about it. We can see he definitely suck in it bcoz it was the only AB game he played on his PC.

You may be familiar with EvanTubeHD. He was one of the YouTubers who got popular by creating videos of Angry Birds toys, plushies, clay figures, etc. Then he went from other merchandise too which includes LEGO, Minecraft, Skylanders, Nintendo, etc. He has a whole collection of it.

I’ll share more Angry Birds related fandom here soon.

@dragonofheart73 I’m not sure where it is already available. But the ABNest community has beta test this game already, and some of my FB friends too send screenshots of them (and they are 360° pics!) and they are all from the US. So I just speculated where it was released during the beta-test.

Today, Rovio give us a new trailer about Angry Birds Evolution, and it’s finally going to be released worldwide in June 2017! Gameplay is not revealed in this trailer (which you all know what it’ll be like), but damn, they look sick! And look at all those references! (BTW, it already exists in Canada or somewhere, I don’t know, but still I’m excited bcoz I can finally play it!)

Hi friends! Today Rovio announced that the Angry Birds Movie sequel is coming! It was planned to be released at 20 September, 2019. This movie will be directed by Thurop Van Orman (who also created Adventure Time) and co-directed John Rice (who also created Rick & Morty). More info will be available in the future.
