Did a bit of a spading session on 48h hard missions, correct-symbol:-
    (15,15,15) gets 4 rewards
    (16,16,16) gets 4 rewards
    (16,16,17) gets 5 rewards
    (15,15,19) gets 5 rewards

(I’ve just set a 14,14,22 off for science: Haven’t got any suitable 13s or 21s)

Depending how you’re playing, it may be worth it just to start the challenge and immediately quit, ignoring the leagues & leaderboards entirely.

Starting the daily challenge – and also playing Jenga if you blow the cash on that – are a 9th/10th daily quest. Daily quests still only need 8 completed for the final reward, so you’re avoiding the need to “open 5 chests” (costing 75000 coins) per day.

In theory, overpower’s a balancing mechanism, so the Bumblebees & suchlike get a bigger boost than Deadend/Energon Grimlock, etc, and they all end up “equal” at level 25.
    (In practice, WTF Mirage?)

IIRC, there’s a bug to deal with:
Volcanicus’s Monocle & Omega Supreme’s Sunglasses (both of which claim to increase fire rate) don’t play nice with the transformers’ continuous beam weapons. So don’t equip them.

Three on-type level 15’s should be good (possibly lower than that, I’ve not checked) for all 5 rewards on the easy missions (the portal on the desert island).

For the medium missions (the portal towards the top of the map, by the pig lab), though, that won’t guarantee you all five rewards. All three on-type and overpowered to level 16, though, and 5 rewards are always there for me.

Hard missions (the portal to the right of the map on its own little island), I send the highest overpower-level available & on-type transformers I’ve got. (Only one level 25 so far, but plenty of 17-19’s). Guaranteed all 5 rewards, again.

The spire’s the building at bottom-left at the map, which used to hold a game of chance called “shockwave’s spire”, but now contains the war pass stuff.
Relevant to this topic: it’s where (after collecting Neon Soundwave for free and accessories for not-free in the token exchange), I spotted the red exclamation mark, tapped on it, and was then gifted the entire prime pass contents – including Neon Prowl – at no charge.

Folks who haven’t bought the prime pass might like to check out the spire. Don’t know if you need to pick up the free Neon Soundwave first.

Three level-15 transformers of the correct (bomb/lightbulb/magnifying-glass) type will get you all 5 rewards from the easy missions. For medium/hard guaranteed-5, you need overpower IIRC.
(As per tahtorak above: Don’t send someone out that you want (or will want) for the events)

Yes. Indeed, you get credits/points/etc for disabling a missile by being hit by it. (But not for any that abort & fly over you after you’ve been washing-machined IIRC)

Somewhat fiddly way of getting into the game on iOS without reinstalling, or whatever, until such time as facebook connectivity works again:-
(Well, it works for me ;) )

    Go to settings.
Turn off Mobile Data & Wifi
    Run the game
This should get you to a working map screen.
    Play.
If you want to participate in online event stuff: home-button, settings, re-enable Wifi/Mobile data, go back to game, wait a bit for the connection to hook up, and you should be good to go.
Don’t go near the facebook / friends settings, they’ll crash.

Yes, a bit of faff. But needs must at the moment.

Check the token exchange – In my case at least, “missing” tokens gained thus far are present there, and are spendable. Tokens gained today appear to be counted separately, and are not (yet) spendable in the current event.
