Wait, I’ve been playing for the past week or so and haven’t experienced any sort of login problems at all. I had no idea there was anything wrong until I logged on. Are the problems affecting everyone or just specific devices?

@dustin-brillian I too have the Mascarade, and I personally will use it over the Christmas Glasses because it adds attack, which Matilda desperately needs.

I myself will try to get up to 5000 points. None of the prizes are worth it to me, I’ll just get the gems.

@justpast40 I don’t disagree that Rovio should give out good items, I just don’t think they should give out the best items.

But for the monster points, I guess if it takes that much work to get up to 10000, I guess not many people will get it. They should make it more attainable.

@troisdsmax Well, as I said above the item that I have (Mascarade) is definitely better because it adds attack, which Matilda desperately needs. The effects are the same (+12%). However I hope Rovio continues this trend of potentially useful monster prizes.

@saren That’s really unfortunate, I have them for three of my birds and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I’ve been racking up winning streaks without much effort ever since I got them. That’s why I think they shouldn’t be for everyone; it takes away the exclusivity of the slot.

@dustin-brillian Actually, that’s really really lucky. Usually you only get 3 SS items max from 2 rolls. Congratulations! Get any good items?

@dustin-brillian I wouldn’t suggest even using the 5 gem slot at all. Even though you might not get a good SS item, it’s still better than the almost no chance for SS of the 5 gem. I’ve rolled the 5 gem around 20 times and have gotten 3 SS items (only 1 useful). I’ve rolled the 20-gem ~8 times and have gotten 10-11 SS items (7 duplicate, 4 useful). I even got 2 panel increase items in one roll. The 20-gem slot is definitely a better deal.

I agree with the coins to gem idea. Rovio should have better uses for the coins at least, if not gem conversion.

Rovio really needs to add some more lab levels; all these monster and arena events are really repetitive and only good for gems in my opinion.

Does anyone think that the arena has become uninteresting? I have the items to get the SS rainbow weapon, but personally it’s not worth it for me to spend time on the arena to get an item I’m not excited about. I would rather Rovio switch it back to an arena trophy or a non-lab item as a prize.

I think this has been the best day of Fight for me in months. The 20-gem slot finally gave two panel increase items (Poker Cards+ and Parfume Bottle), and I’m off to a 18 winning streak in the arena.

@doc471 Well, the “godly” weapons have been extremely unimpressive, and I liked the arena trophies better. Besides, the Blues have very high attack and defense, so they need more health.

@freckledpig147 Oh yes, I know all of these things. I was just wondering how the shield values could fluctuate so much (~4000 from my normal). As for my regular stats, I usually get around 120 attack and 3000 shield ( I only have a Golden Fish Ship).

Just got 7500 shield with 252 shield. I wonder how the shield/attack values are determined, since usually my shield doesn’t go that high. Anyone have ideas for how they determine the attack/shield values for ship battles?

@corporalpig Just because it’s not as good as the Fire Glasses doesn’t mean it’s a bad item. The Curry Pot is basically the best Bomb accessory, as are all the SS panel increase items. And as @oliverffffff said, the extra attack can be useful.

@skayra @tomt Unless you’re in the lab, all SS items will be better than the rainbow weapon. Its greater stats doesn’t make up for the worse effect. For example, the Home Run Bat, the MeMe Stick, the Bamboo Stick, and the Paint Brush will be better than the upcoming Blues prize. I don’t know about the Devil Spear.

@gabriel-floripa @troisdsmax Yes, I have the same items as the person in the first picture, and the mask often disappears in both arena and regular bird fights. But the second one is definitely impossible.

@corporalpig No they don’t. Black Soul Ship and Tutankhamun have bonus time panels, while Royale and Rosette have gold fever.

@shirokova The Tutankhamun is probably the best, both stat-wise and effect-wise.

@ezeromark The Devil Spear will be better if you tend to have lower runs, but the Cupid Bow will be better with higher stats. I don’t know the exact numbers, so you might want to test it.

20 win streak to start the arena off. My rank went from 70000 to 2000. Pretty good considering I didn’t play at all yesterday. :)

@freckledpig147 @ezeromark Yes, @netto-jm is right. I tested the same types of items with the Blues (Home Run Bat vs Rare Shark Teeth) and the bat was better even without panel appearance accessories.
