Considering the price of bird coins has gone up, and the short tournaments ensuring most people don’t have enough to buy it, I’m guessing it’s a permanent change.

Does the Golden Slingshot do anything the Wishbone sling doesn’t?

The Christmas Tree slingshot (aka Jingle Sling) is not a powerup. You only need to purchase it once, and you will always be able to use it. And you don’t need to spend real money – it can be purchased with bird coins.

I use a similar strategy to Jenrose, though I don’t usually start playing till late in the week.

When I was previously in Diamond League (playing on an iPad 1 before the app stopped working) all the star players were mixed in with the normal diamond league players. Now (playing on a Mac via Facebook) I see they’re all separated (I’ve got one star and so have all my opponents). When was this done?

And does anyone know how the points are calculated? I finished 11th but didn’t gain any.

I had the same problem. A partial workaround was to wait till the queued birds started jumping before launching any of them, but it was still very frustrating.

Well, I’ve finally done it! Aimed the can at around 4:17, and activated it near the first large (or 3rd overall) crystal protruding from the planet’s surface.

So now I’ve completed all the standard free levels with a single eagle (plus ordinary birds in some cases) – apart from Brass Hogs 15 (as I missed the update which stops that level from being impossible).

I did try that. They took a long time to reply, and when they finally did they gave me instructions that were impossible to comply with (because the upgrade message which I can’t dismiss prevents access to anything else in the app).

That uses two space eagles. It’s easy enough with two – my question is can it be done with one?

It’s far worse for me. I was playing on an iPad 1. It worked alright at the start of the week, but now I’n getting a message telling me to PLEASE UPDATE THE GAME AND TRY AGAIN. But the NEW IMPROVED version won’t run on an iPad 1, and there’s no way to dismiss the message.

I have been asked to beat my score on a boss level. And I was unable to.

BTW I found that (on the iPad version of Angry Birds Space) I could play levels without unlocking them first by playing the last locked level (successfully) then replaying it but failing, after which it allowed me to move to the next level, after which you can move to the next after succeeding. But if anyone still has locked levels and wants to do this, beware: once you play a level you may be asked to 3 star it, which can be rather awkward if it’s still locked. (And it’s possible updates may have fixed this feature anyway.)
