    @galaxes Like most characters he needs to be overpowered a couple of times to reach his true power level. Then he can take out everything with ease. Not having a secondary attack is a negative but he is good enough that he doesn’t really need it.

    @grayhamster
    Completing squads increases the amount of coins you can get from on the map.

    No way to have know that after more than three years they would suddenly do the prime pass event the next month instead of every other month like the last twenty two were. Next few should now be:
    Apr 11: Gestalt
    Apr 18: The Iconic Transformers
    Apr 25: Enslavers
    May 2: Prime Pass Event or Specialists

    Not confident enough to go any further until we see how they are handling Prime Pass events now.

    You’re right. I just tested him out and he is considerably better than I remember. They must have made him stronger because when I was choosing who to promote for the squad (he would have been level 16 or 17 at the time) he was ineffective at best. Or I could just be misremembering (it was more than three years ago and I haven’t used him outside of a few regular map runs since) and it was his inability to take out pigs and WMTs fast that I didn’t like about him.

    I still think Thrust is better for event runs and Mirage for Spark Run but he’s acceptable (especially for lower level players that can be helped by the healing ability).

    @galaxes
    Yes, it will take a while but you will get them all back eventually. And if you are able to get to the top tiers, the stuff you will get from the gold crates will make it worth it even if you didn’t get any gems back.

    Should have updated this a long time ago since there have been changes to the order since I last posted it.

    Mar 21: Brothers In Armor
    Mar 28: Variant Versions
    Apr 4: Gestalt
    Apr 11: The Iconic Transformers
    Apr 18: Enslavers
    Apr 25: Specialists
    May 2: *Prime Pass Event*
    May 9: Energized
    May 16: The Seekers
    May 23: Reinforcements
    May 30: Combiners
    Jun 6: The Cybertronians
    Jun 13: The Wreckers
    Jun 20: Valkyries
    Jun 27: VIP
    Jul 4: *Prime Pass Event*
    Jul 11: Support
    Jul 18: Instruments of Destruction
    Jul 25: Coneheads
    Aug 1: The Hotrods
    Aug 8: Rescue Bots
    Aug 15: Speedsters
    Aug 22: Target: 2006
    Aug 29: Pure Warriors
    Sep 5: *Prime Pass Event*
    Sep 12: Femme Fatale
    Sep 19: Noughties
    Sep 26: Leaders
    Oct 3: Energon Fueled

    And then repeated with the Prime Pass events being moved to the first event of every other month.

    @galaxes The Challenge Run is definitely worth getting. Just for the extra Daily Quest so you don’t have to do the “Open 5 Crates” one. Also from the gems you will get, it eventually pays for itself. After that it is just a free source of gems, coins, pigs, crystals, accessories, (and if you get to the top tiers) unlocks, upgrades and overpowers.

    Dirge isn’t that great. Sure the healing will keep you alive but he leaves so many blocks behind that it takes considerably longer to complete a Spark Run than it does with other characters.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    @bob1001 There is a way to bypass the weekly rewards and stay at the tier you are on so you can take as many weeks as you need to get to the top tier. And it is as simple as just not playing it on the last day (You can start it and quit to get the daily quest, just don’t play and get put on the leader board). Then when the day is done, close and restart the game before claiming the results.

    @sntrooper

    It just stinks compared to his normal weapon. The target has to be on the screen when you hit the button and then still be there three seconds later for it to even fire.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    @noahlot Yes, I would suggest Sunstreaker. While Sideswipe is better in events, you already have the far superior Mirage so there would be no reason to ever use Sideswipe. In a two bot event it is better to pair an area attack character (Mirage) with a good precision attack character (Sunstreaker) than another area attack character (Sideswipe).

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    I’ve come to realize there is no point in me doing the spark run anymore. I already have a green crown character in every squad* and since it seems like they will never do a regular squad two bot event ever again there is no reason to promote a second bot.

    *Except the prime pass squads which I don’t buy. But those are not in the regular rotation of bonus squads, so promoting any of them would be useless anyways even if I did have them.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    “Boss Pig and Unicron are easy targets for Wheeljack but I don’t know how successful Moonracer is on them.”
    She can take them out super fast but is completely useless at defending against their shots.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    If you don’t see this event you have to get the new update.

    The next Prime Pass characters are Ironhide and Nightbird.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    Should be the exact same order of squads as my previous list just with the prime pass events moved the first event of every odd numbered month.

    Aug 4: Enslavers
    Aug 11: Specialists
    Aug 18: Energized
    Aug 25: The Seekers
    Sep 1: Season 15 Prime Pass Event
    Sep 8: Reinforcements
    Sep 15: Combiners
    Sep 22: The Cybertronians
    Sep 29: The Wreckers
    Oct 6: The Hotrods
    Oct 13: Valkyries
    Oct 20: VIP
    Oct 27: Support
    Nov 3: Season 16 Prime Pass Event
    Nov 10: Instruments of Destruction
    Nov 17: Coneheads
    Nov 24: Rescue Bots
    Dec 1: Speedsters
    Dec 8: Target: 2006
    Dec 15: Pure Warriors
    Dec 22: Femme Fatale
    Dec 29: Noughties
    Jan 5: Season 17 Prime Pass Event
    Jan 12: Leaders
    Jan 19: Energon Fueled
    Jan 26: Brothers In Armor
    Feb 2: Variant Versions
    Feb 9: Gestalt
    Feb 16: The Iconic Transformers

    And then back to Enslavers and the whole thing repeated again.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    Anyone notice the beach scene has no sharktihogs in it. Must be Rovio’s way of “enhancing the gaming experience”.

    This happens every time the event has a feature that changes the scenery objects (holiday themes or all the same block type, like this one). Just a bug in the coding that has been there for years that was never fixed and probably never will be.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    If you don’t see this event then you need to update the app to the newest version.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    No, I don’t even think you can get upgrades for them from gold crates.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    “Approaching A New Dawn”… Hmmm… Interesting name. Reminds me of “Times Are Changing” the name of the final event before they stopped releasing new event characters and giving events unique names. Could mean nothing but could be a hint that something is coming.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    If the pattern holds these should be the next full rotation of bonus squads:

    Jan 13: Nemesis Hot Rod – Enslavers
    Jan 20: Nightbird – Specialists
    Jan 27: Energon Megatron- Energized
    Feb 3: Energon Starscream – The Seekers
    Feb 10: Ionstorm – Reinforcements
    Feb 17: Menasor- Combiners
    Feb 24: Shockwave – The Cybertronians
    Mar 3: Season 12 Prime Pass Event
    Mar 10: Wheeljack – The Wreckers
    Mar 17: Drift – The Hotrods
    Mar 24: Arcee – Valkyries
    Mar 31: Cyclonus – VIP
    Apr 7: Warpath – Support
    Apr 14: Blaster – Instruments of Destruction
    Apr 21: Dirge – Coneheads
    Apr 28: Ratchet – Rescue Bots
    May 5: Season 13 Prime Pass Event
    May 12: Red Alert – Speedsters
    May 19: Ultra Magnus – Target: 2006
    May 26: Energon Lockdown – Pure Warriors
    Jun 2: Novastar – Femme Fatale
    Jun 9: Slipstream – Noughties
    Jun 16: Grey Slam Grimlock – Leaders
    Jun 23: Energon Galvatron – Energon Fueled
    Jun 30: Prowl – Brothers In Armor
    Jul 7: Season 14 Prime Pass Event
    Jul 14: Ultimate Optimus Prime – Variant Versions
    Jul 21: Volcanicus – Gestalt
    Jul 28: Energon Bumblebee – The Iconic Transformers

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    If you don’t see this event, you need to download the latest version of the app.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    @noahlot Damage.

    But Explosive Rounds equipped on either of the Lockdowns make them excessively better than Brawl. I would shift to using Energon Lockdown if you can.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    @noahlot Neither. Acid Rounds is better than both.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    There was a soft update yesterday that added him and Omega Supreme to the Specialist Raiders squad. Must be next season’s characters. I’ve only seen Devastator as a buddy but my app crashes every time I try to use him.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    If the pattern holds these should be the events through the end of the year:

    Sep 23: Soundwave – Instruments of Destruction
    Sep 30: Dirge – Coneheads
    Oct 7: Heatwave – Rescue Bots
    Oct 14: Sideswipe – Speedsters
    Oct 21: Ultra Magnus – Target: 2006
    Oct 28: Ironhide – Pure Warriors
    Nov 4: Season 10 Prime Pass Event
    Nov 11: Strongarm – Femme Fatale
    Nov 18: Flamewar – Noughties
    Nov 25: Sentinel Prime – Leaders
    Dec 2: Energon Soundwave – Energon Fueled
    Dec 9: Bluestreak – Brothers In Armor
    Dec 16: Ultimate Megatron – Variant Versions
    Dec 23: Omega Supreme – Gestalt
    Dec 30: Nemesis Prime – The Iconic Transformers
    Jan 6: Season 11 Prime Pass Event

    *Predicting the featured character is a lot harder than the bonus squad because historically they haven’t always stuck to the pattern. Generally I just chose the one that has been the longest since they were featured. So I could easily be wrong about some of those.
    Also I’m not sure about the placement of the Prime Pass events. The last couple have been the first event every other month. So I went with that.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    No. There has never been any way to unlock previous season characters after their season ended and no one knows if there ever will be or not.

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    And with that we have gone full circle and come back to the bonus squad where they gave up on the app by no longer giving the events actual names and releasing new characters through events. (Fitting name for this event.)

    SnTrooper
    @sntrooper

    New characters are Red Alert and Nemesis Prime. Oddly unlike the last eight times they are in two separate squads, Sawbones Squad (Red Alert) and Specialist Raiders (Nemesis Prime).
