Zack Scott uses priest. Priest is only good with a paladin and/or RAINBIRD.

For cave 5, use Druid, Samurai and Marksmen. MAKE SURE THEY ARE ALL AT LEAST LV. 22 AND ARE ELITE, OR HAVE AT LEAST 800 Health. Target the Mandarins and Master Ninjas first. For Shogun use Blues/Reds Rage Chili Ability (having a friend who has Yin and Yang will help). Always start every round with max health and max chili. Do not be afraid to heal – health is essential. Focus on one target. That should work. I did this LV. 21-22, no legendary items.

WEAPONS: Use a hammer for Red, Slingshot for Blues, and Comb or Harp for Matilda.
NEVER, EVER USE A CRITICAL HIT WEAPON DUE TO DODGE. If you plan to use legendary weapons, use Yin or Scythes for Matilda, Gold Hammer or Dragon’s Tooth for Red and Robot or Slingshot for Blues.

These 2 ideas don’t work:

PvP? No way, Jose. The guy who got the first turn would have a BIG advantage.It’s not practical. You make me laugh. Have a good day.

Silver/Friendship Essence into Gold: Not Practical. Play ‘The Simpsons Tapped out’. See the connection? Donuts and Gold are PREMIUM currency, and it doesn’t work.

One thing I would like to suggest is a ‘Are you sure you want to…’ thing for when you scrap a weapon or spend lucky coins.

I worked out Something…

– Use Samurai and Marksmen
– Borrow a strong healer (ideally Druid)

The Marksmen can make my Samurai do double damage. My weapons are set to stun and dispel – perfect against the smokescreens and the healing effect. Stun is essential. Using this combo I beat level three with no potions.

One last request, can I add KillerKea and CDRGuy as friends on FB?

Same for me. What birds do you have? I’m Lv.22, have no complete sets, no eagles and not much gold but I’m halfway through cave 5.

I did it differently: Use Samurai, Spies and borrow a friend’s Bard (thorny vine is useless) Shield against his attack, then heal and continuously pound at him. Kill his allies when they are summoned. Repeat till he dies.

Yeah, one problem: I HAVE NOT GOT ENOUGH HEALTH TO LIVE THE MASSIVE ATTACKS! Also, the Mandarin does about 800 damage with the power-up from Shogun! If I kill the shogun he gets more power!

Get the Gold Chili. But Bard + Doom + Demise is an epic combo.

It’s Just a slightly better knight. Exclusive to Japan.

The reason this is only in Japan is that the bamboo forest the big armoured dragon pig is also called ronin.

Rainbird is WAY more useful than Matilda in this cave as Rainbird removes the anti-heal and the healing is balanced. A good combo is Samurai/Paladin, Rainbird and Capt’n.

Bard does the highest damage out of the Matilda Classes, and has 15% (20% chance with a saucepan) chance to stun. Plus, her heal is balanced and continuous.

Thunderbird can lower target defence power and hit everyone. This is useful against ironclad Pigs. It also gives everyone a ‘shock shield’ in 1 turn, unlike Mage who only does 1 target.

Paladin can deflect damage whilst you heal weak birds, plus Whip Up! + Holy strike = Strong attack, lots of health regained.

I’d definitely recommend these three.

This morning I was buying the veteran lightning bird when the list re-arranged and I accidentally bought the elite Beserk, which I didn’t want. I wasted 2000 snoutlings.

Use the pig’s rage ability, removing ghosts from play and doing 330 damage to him. STUN IS ESSENTIAL.

How I did it:

Use Knight, Rogue and Druid.

Attack him, set up the damage over time.

Protect the targeted bird with Knight, use Cupcake trap with rogues and heal with Druid afterwards.

Repeat till he dies.
