@kackman73As @KerrAvon said, Knight and Princess worked for me, along with Cannoneer.
I attacked primarily with Cannoneer (debuff Lawrence’s attack power by 20%).
I attacked with Knight (force Lawrence to attack Knight) until the turn before Lawrence’s charge attack was to go off, at which point I put Protect on Knight (-55% incoming damage).
I attacked with Princess the first turn, but after that her only job was to constantly heal Knight (removes stun from Lawrence’s charge attack and keeps Knight alive).
For some reason, even after Princess would cleanse Knight, his attack would only land for 300 or so (as opposed to the 700-some the tooltip indicated it should), so the fight took quite a long time.
However, I was never in danger of dying, and earned three stars despite getting only 1500 points for killing Lawrence after dozens of turns (I managed to kill him when everyone was at full health, so earned 31,500 total).
Summary of classes used:
Knight (45/8, Grand Slam) – Attack Boss & Protect Self
Princess (45/8, Nightmare) – Heal Knight
Cannoneer (45/8, Sugar Rush) – Attack Boss

@kackman73@abyssuss – True, but I got lucky this time. Although I did try to delete some FB friends, I got bored after deleting 100 or so, so I’m still at 2,400+.
However, I suddenly have a full 20 pages of friends to choose from for daily dungeons again. I doubt that it’s because I went under 2,500 friends – perhaps it just took a few weeks to load. :)

@kackman73Ugh. I just checked my alt Facebook account that I use for AB Epic, and I have over 2,500 “friends”. It is truly not worth my time to delete 1750 people just so I can use non-Piggy McCool birds in dungeons.
I think I’d rather wait for a fix from Rovio’s side instead.

@kackman73I stopped in to see if anyone else’s event just disappeared, only to find out that the event apparently ended early with little warning.
I missed out completely on getting to roll. Ah well.

@kackman73The people who started with points on my board have gained 1-2k each since then. It seems like they’re not really paying attention to the event, or at least don’t seem to care very much about it.

@kackman73One quibble with your method: I’m going to accept the first spin that lands on the highest point value, and of the three possible landing points for that to happen, one doesn’t include a stamina drink.
So for someone like me, you can assume that, over time, only 2 of 3 battles will give me an extra stamina potion, which would change your costs above (each “stamina earned” number becomes 2/3 of your total).
Easy: 90 drinks – 20 stamina earned = 70 drinks.
Medium: 75 drinks – 10 stamina earned = 65 drinks.
Hard: 70 drinks – 7 earned = 63 drinks. So for me, the higher difficulties offer a better return.
Of course, for someone who is interested solely in medals (perhaps they accept only the spin that gets the highest score & no stamina), then it’s very clear that the Hard fight offers the best return, as they only need 70 drinks to earn what someone doing the easy fight needs 90 drinks to earn.
Finally, since you can craft stamina potions using FEs, it’s probably best to use extra FEs to craft stamina potions (at an average rate of return of 2 FEs per stamina potion with a basic cauldron) than it is to spend them hoping to hit the 1 in 9 chance of getting the max point + stamina combo that you’re shooting for in your example.

@kackman73A few people have asked for strats on these fights, so I’m sharing what I do.
For starters, I have the golden rage chili. That alone makes each of the fights pretty easy.
Zombies: Chuck (Lightning Bird 8, mismatched), Blues (Spies 8, Beep!), Hardly Matters (but I tend to use Black (Pirate 6, mismatched)). Open with rage chili on Chuck, use spies and other bird to clean up. If you don’t kill them all in round 1, you’ll kill whatever pigs are left in round 2. 3 stars.
Necromancer: Red (Paladin 9, Titan’s Wrath), Chuck (Lightning Bird 8, mismatched), Blues (Spies 8, Beep!). Open with rage chili on Chuck. Whatever’s left should die by the end of round 2 – use Chuck to send Spies or Paladin on a 2nd attack if needed. 3 stars.
Frankenpig: Same as Necromancer, except it might take you until round 3 to kill everything. 3 stars.
tl;dr – Lightning Wizard w/Spies and a round 1 rage chili on Chuck is an automatic three stars on all the boards. Your third pig barely matters, although I use Paladin when I can just for the heal on his attack.
Edit to add: I don’t use potions, as there’s no need to.

@kackman73Odd. The first couple events, my leaderboard was mostly fully of people who barely played the event (made it rather easy to win, but boring).
This time, the second the event started, I found myself on a leaderboard topped by somebody who already had 9,600+ points. A few others had 3,000, 5,000, or more.
Does the event start at noon according to the local time of the player, perhaps? I’m in GMT-8, so maybe some of the people I’m competing against had access to the event for some number of hours before I did? If that’s the case, would their event end earlier than mine as well?
I did see that some other folks said they could play the full event prior to today. Maybe that’s where these early high scores came from. I suppose I’ll keep an eye on whether Mr. 9,600+ improves his score over the next few days.

@kackman73I’ve sent friend request/messages to a dozen or so people from the last couple pages.
Please feel free to send me FB friend requests as well. (Facebook friendly)
Link is in my profile.
Edit: I’ve removed my FB info from my profile, as I now have about 900 new friends. Thank you to all who sent me a request, and good luck to all.
