    @tomc Like other posts said, tap it really quickly over and over. The medals don’t matter because they keep going away but I’ve been getting stamina drinks, 2x XP things, and Snoutlings, which all seem to stay.

    Would be nice if the ribbons were staying and the presents were like this. I don’t know how many total I’ve gotten from just the presents, over 1k I’m sure. Just got 180 from two presents a sec ago.

    Hopefully they fix it soon. I guess I should fight some of the battles to get the hang of it for when/if it’s fixed.

    I’m also having trouble connecting to Facebook again, in other news.

    Well this is awesome. What would be an awesome event in conjunction with what would be a really great, depth providing update are all ridden with bugs and hacks. GREAT. So this is what we loyal customers get, especially those of us who spend money? They need to review their business model. REVIEW and TEST your product tirelessly before you release it. Without this step you leave the majority of your loyal customer base pissed off.

    @MadMike Thanks! But I used a computer at work today to do it haha. Well worth it! Closing in on sea dog. If I wouldn’t keep wasting my coins on Rainbow Riot I’d have been there by now.

    Honestly I haven’t found a use for Marksmen yet. I really don’t think I’ve used them once. What is it good for?

    Haven’t gotten sea dog yet either to try that out.

    I haven’t bought skulkers yet, and bard is available but I don’t have enough LC. So I’m torn between waiting to buy Bard or go with Skulkers for now. Input anybody?

    I have little competition on mine it seems. I’m in second place and I have been completing the battles with no FE and very little luck. Which sucks, haha. I think I’m in second. I got used to overusing FE for a day or two while I got absurd amounts via a bug of some sort. Now I’m back to getting only the 5 per request. I keep doing the 5’s. I can 3 star it pretty consistently. I haven’t had any of the high leaders starting right off the bat on any events I’ve played like you’ve mentioned, but I’ve only been around for 3 events, and the first one I barely played because I didn’t understand what was going on.

    Best of luck to all of you. I’m only lvl 17 so the reward is well worth it for me.

    And thank you for the bird combo recommendations, I’m going to try them out.

    I don’t know if it’s a random audit, but when I made a fake account it immediately nerfed me like a day later. It presented the terms, saying what was against the rules, then asked me to identify 3 out of 5 randomly chosen friends. When I obviously could not do that it locked me out. If I try to log in to that account it goes through the same steps. So a fake account did not work out for me. Has this happened to anyone else?

    One thing that would put this game above and beyond is a P2P Marketplace. Of course, then they’d be cutting into their own sales by letting players trade for resources.

    Yeah, I used chuck a bunch today and noticed how the reviving goes. I’m pretty certain the first time I just got hit enough to KO him the second time.

    In other news, my friendship essence is bugging like crazy. Maybe I shouldn’t even say anything. I’ve gotten over 30 today from one request. It does the 1/5, 2/5, 3/5 stuff, but repeated as more friends replied. I’ll take it… Hopefully it keeps going that way for me.

    Yeah I know, that was the first he was knocked out.

    angry johnny’s explanation seems the most plausible. I wasn’t paying close enough attention though to see if the damage was sufficient enough to do so.

    Don’t know if it’s a consistent bug or not because it only happened once and I haven’t tried to replicate it, but the other day I got my first complete set for Chuck, the phoenix set, and while going through a wave battle I didn’t worry about healing him, because I knew he’d revive automatically, but then he died and did not revive. Not sure why or if it consistently doesn’t work. Maybe just an anomaly, I’ll try again.

    Ok, so I fixed the problem, but I’m not 100% sure how. Following a support ticket from Rovio I tried a bunch of stuff till it worked. Here is what they sent me and then I sent them. Perhaps it’ll help you. Still took me an hour of messing around to get it to work.

    We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Angry Birds Epic. You could first try these steps to fix the issue, another customer with the exact same problem reported that this worked:

    1) Sign out of your Rovio Account
    2) Disconnect Epic from Facebook
    3) Sign in to your Rovio Account
    4) If the it now looks like you’re connected to FB, disconnect
    5) Exit the account settings screen
    6) Enter the menu again to connect to Facebook again

    I’m confused, step 2 says to disconnect epic from Facebook. How is this possible if the problem is that I cannot connect to Facebook? Am I missing something?

    After fooling around with various combinations of what you’ve suggested I am no connected to Facebook. A couple of times I’d connect, then exit account settings and come back in and it would say that I was, in fact, not connected. Then if I tried to connect it’d bring up the Facebook app and go through two-three quick screens and restart AB Epic to no avail.

    Eventually, I disconnected from Rovio. Then I connected to Facebook successfully. I then left account settings (no reason really, just fooling around with different combinations of what you’d suggested), returned and connected to Rovio. I have since (15 minutes or so) been successfully connected to both.

    So thank you for providing some ideas to consider in order to connect, but the steps you suggested did not work for me. It took many tries and a random combination relative to your steps to get it to work for me. The success in connecting is definitely thanks to you, Jutta, but it took a lot of persistence. So thank you! I am not going to mark this issue as resolved just yet, in case the issue returns. I will be sure to mark it as resolved after a few days of consistent service.

    Here is my device model and OS version so as to hopefully help your developers:

    Model – MF260LL/A (iPhone 4s)
    Version – 8.1.1 (12B435)

    I’m having the same problem. It constantly says login failed. I have been regularly receiving requests for friendship gates and friendship essence, although the only person on my list is piggy mccool, and of course I can’t ask for essence because I can’t connect. I tried the whole uninstall – reinstall and logging out of each and all that garbage. It’s getting really frustrating.
