The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15I am really disappointed with Rovio’s handling with stamina drinks and roll chance for items in the event. I have gone through about 30 stamina drinks and gotten 3 stars on the 1 wave battles costing 3 stamina drinks yet I haven’t gotten any candy rolled off of the event wheel. You would think that you would get at least one candy after rolling ten times but apparently that isn’t the case. I think there is something wrong with the level I am playing or the wheel because it looks like I won’t be getting any candy for another 30 stamina drinks.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15I have an LG G3 and I found there were ocassional crashes a few months ago. I uninstalled Android System Webview and installed Norton for security instead; it worked fine after that. Epic probably doesn’t crash with Webview anymore but I am still not going to re-install it.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15@nlerik That is your strongest team for SRC? That is good, I don’t even know how to use the princess.
I am curious though, why use the princess when you have the paladin to heal? I usually use the paladin (with primal axe and titangrip), the bard with sweet set (damage is second to none) and the wizard (lightning set). Though I wish I had the dragon set, the primal-titan combo I have works fine. The sweet set ups the paladin’s healing and therefore the bard just becomes an attacking class.
How do you use your team to beat SRC? My princess is weak which may explain why I have never been able to use it.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15Okay so this is a general update of what I have seen so far:
New pigs: Pumpkin Pig (lvl 50): Deals 856 damage; targets covered in pumpkin receive 125% damage. Deals 128 damage to all targets and covers them in pumpkin.
Weak Zombie: Just a weaker version of the actual zombie, the lvl 50 weak zombie for me does 428 damage.
Matilda Class: Witch
At Lvl 50 with Sweet Set items, no mastery (base class): Sinister Smite: Deals 678 damage, target takes 15% dealt damage and Matilda is healed by the same amount-Lasts 3 turns. Giant Growth: Increases attack power and health by 20%-Lasts 3 turns. At a glance, this sounds like it is going to be a powerful class; I am hoping the damage when ranked up with mastery beats my Bard’s damage. I would, however, pair the Witch with the Paladin because it seems like the Witch is more limited in terms of healing ability (with the whole party). In terms of self-healing and attacking, this class is going to be great. I was really looking for an improvement over the Illusionist (the Mirror Image lasts only for 2 turns and the class can’t deal damage to all birds unless you use the Twin Lightning set) and I was looking forward to facing actual lvl 50 pigs (not the SRC pigs; they’re 50 but they just seem weaker compared to event pigs). This is going to be fun.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15Couldn’t it just be a prize in the new Pirate event? That is an unfair advantage if certain people don’t get the specific magazine issue or they can’t find one.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15This game needs a new, permanent campaign map. If players have finished the regular map, Chronicle Cave, and have a high spot in the arena, the new map can add an additional challenge.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15A Diamond Golden Pig machine would be nice.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15Do you know about the required stars prizes? You needed over 400 stars if you started playing after the Arena update to get the Avenger class. The next required amount of stars has a question mark but the picture looks like it is a Golden Pig Machine. There might by a chance to acquire a silver or gold machine.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15I saw the Golden pig glitch when I was playing on an LG G3, Android 5.0.1.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15My golden pig will automatically shut down the game even when I reinstalled the game. That is the worst glitch possible and just a sign that Rovio has been letting down players if it comes to this. Lucky coins are the most important currency in the game. If this doesn’t work in a few days, I will most likely stop playing Epic and tell other people to do the same. It just isn’t worth it with a glitch this critical.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15I am only a few resources away from the Stone Guard. Mine looks like it will do 2 X 231 at level 43.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15@harleym Your group probably isn’t competitive because they are getting beat by the campaign levels; only level 41 teams with powerful set items and a general mastery of at least 7 or 8 for their birds can survive in these battles. My group isn’t very competitive either; my 4000+ points lead isn’t in any danger of being challenged.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15@doc-mayank Is the highest amount of health Red can have for any player 3401? Can that number go any higher?
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15@doc-mayank Is there a max amount of damage Red have? It seems like if you have the best weapons, the Stone Guard will do 2 X 212 (or 2 X 229 with might set item).
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15Which battle would be the best for collecting resources while still conserving stamina drinks? I am guessing it would be the 3 wave battle with 2 resources items as the main prize. Can somebody tell me if I will have enough time? What should I do? I have all 20 feathers, 19/25 flowers, 9/40 tusks, 0/40 stones, and 26/35 stars.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The second gate levels have stronger enemies but they are still easy; honestly the hard part is keeping your birds at full health instead of 50 below your full health. I ended each battle with full health for all of my birds.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The funniest battle I had in the arena; I lost the coin toss and after a short skirmish, I finished off two of the other team’s birds. Then a Wizard with a Twin Lightning used a rage attack and killed 1 of my birds/lowered the health down to 100 for the other two and lowered my banner’s health down to about 1000. I didn’t have a rage chili so I did about 4600 damage with a single bird to finish off their banner.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The arena isn’t impossible; you will sometimes find that some teams will easily overpower you just by going first. The golden chili and the Emblem of the Underdog, with any surviving birds, should work on the enemy team after they attack.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15A Golden Clouds dungeon suggests that the reward might be Lucky Coins; since the reward is just Snoutlings, it is a scam. I can make 200 Snoutlings by doing the Star Reef or Desert Castle twice, taking about 5 minutes in total.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The main reward is 200 Snoutlings meaning that there wouldn’t be any Lucky Coins in other sections of the wheel after completing the dungeon; Lucky Coins are much more valuable than Snoutlings.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The Golden Clouds Dungeon is a scam; there are no Lucky Coins you can earn as a reward for completing it.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15The levels are extremely easy; It is just a matter of staying first in the event and collecting the right amount of resources before the timed release on the next gate has finished counting down.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15There is a new update coming soon. A new Red class (Stone Guard) is coming soon as well as other new features (a mini campaign).
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15Chuck’s Wizard class now heals 10% of all the damage dealt with the Time Set Items, including damage done to 3 other enemies. Before it was simply 10% of the damage healed from the enemy that took the highest 100% damage.
The Mighty Eagle’s Apprentice@chrish15After the update, the crafting speed has been greatly increased. Now a market system is needed. A good percentage of players right now that have entered and beaten 7 or more caves in Chronicle Cave most likely don’t craft weapons; they use the Golden Pig. A market system is needed to sell off old crafting materials like wood or valuable rainbow shells. The exchange rate and currency of exchange can be set on how valuable the items are. For example, wood can be sold for Snoutlings while metal bars and rainbow shells can be sold for a small amount of LC depending on the amount.
