I heard back from Rovio and the tech asked me what version I’m on, what exactly is the device, and how did I download it. He also asked for a screenshot but I still haven’t seen that ad since Sunday. Can you please take a screenshot the next time you see it? I tried to describe it as best I could.

Also, if you provide the above info I can add it into my ticket. I’m on a Kindle HD7 playing v 1.4.19 of ABT and I downloaded from the Amazon store.

@partshade I agree with you on Arcee. I’m not impressed by her abilities. I don’t think I have seen her hit anything and I have had her as a buddy a couple times at L10 for 10 seconds and a lot of help she was!

Also, when I didn’t thank her (Deceptihog achievement) she didn’t get all upset. I expected more of an attitude and was disappointed.

@vrinda-rajkumar I have been playing.. pretty much all day.. on both platforms (as you may have noticed on iOS) and I have not had nearly the issues I did over the weekend with the Android update. I am able to complete events/nodes and have only died a couple times but that’s normal. The game only crashed a couple times today on my Kindle and I played a LOT so law of averages is on the plus side for sure. When I was dying immediately I was only getting 30 coins and now I think it has leveled off and coin totals are decent.

I read somewhere in this thread that someone was having issues with insta-death on characters at L9 and L10 and I was concerned that I would have that issue when the iOS update rolled out but now I feel good about it.

The last time I asked Rovio about when an update was coming, they said they don’t give that info out in case they need to delay it for development purposes we won’t know or be expecting something that is late, etc. Understandable. Do you remember how long it was before we got the last update? Android rolled out before Christmas and I think iOS was late January but I don’t remember.

@cheyenne-joy-353 can you please go in the game and check a couple things? I have played several events today and have completed almost all of them. I’m not dying right away anymore and I haven’t seen those stupid ads one time. I haven’t even crashed once today.

Just wanted to see if you are experiencing the same.

@cheyenne-joy-353 I just submitted a ticket to Rovio about this, since I play on a Kindle as well. Another issue I’m having is my Telepods are failing when I scan them and they didn’t before. I have force stopped the game, turned the device off and even power cycled the wireless.. still failing. They work fine on my iPhone.

Today I used gems for a domed event and then got that annoying ad powered by loop me and since I had to completely kill the game, when I got back in game the event I just unlocked was gone. THAT was the last straw haha! Don’t mess with my gems… What’s really annoying about those ads isn’t just that they crash the game, but we aren’t even the target audience!

At any rate, Rovio is really cool about getting back to users and users on this forum are good about sharing Rovio knowledge so I will be sure to report back when I hear something. Hopefully it won’t be a canned response.. thank you we get it and will work on it.. etc.

Yes, I have noticed the same. Like you said, doesn’t happen often but it does happen and of course.. without weapons or back up, you’re toast.

@hxadecmel I have Thundercracker in the cooker.. And I’m about to upgrade King Brawl for gems.. (All this was just unlocked for Kindle so they are all Junior).

@hxadecmel if you tap on Barracks down in the lower right while a character is upgrading, you will see green up arrows of who you have enough coin to upgrade. If you tap on a character to upgrade, you can either finish the character in the cooker for gems, or you can do an immediate upgrade of a second character for gems. So not to be a wet blanket, but I’m thinking these overly crazy difficult levels that we can’t finish are an effort to frustrate, buy gems, and upgrade characters.

I noticed before when I didn’t have a character upgrading I was dying all over the place. You wanna upgrade for x gems to make up for coins? Hmm.. No.. I put one in the cooker and suddenly I’m finishing events. Hmm..

@marioandsonic how? I had thought that too but when I tap on Barracks and tap on a second character to upgrade, it just asks me to finish the other character with gems. Please tell me what I’m missing.

@partshade I’m feeling your pain! On Kindle I went from v1.2 to 1.4.19 and so I’m getting all the crazy at once. I didn’t even have Pig City and the last 5 characters until this update so I’m kinda.. woah. At least I know what to expect when iOS updates.

I admit I did chuckle at the way you worded your post. I don’t like it either and promptly repaired my event killer.

One cool thing, is that I can see my Droid buddies now that I couldn’t before. I thought it was because Kindle is a flavor of Android, but I was on a totally different version than the Droid users were. Very nice to be able to finally play with @ladydi102!!

Has anyone noticed when a character is upgrading, it says “Barracks” down in the lower right corner? I tapped on it and saw green up arrows next to characters I have enough coins to upgrade. I play on two platforms; iPhone and Kindle Fire. My Kindle version was behind but now I’m caught up with this new update and productivity at work just hit zero.

One thing I noticed is that I can now see two Droid fb friends that I couldn’t previously. We have had lengthy discussions about cross platform buddies and I can now see @hxadecmel and @matt-rohde-10 where before I only had one Kindle buddy.

I’m confused about the Barracks.. at first I thought I could upgrade two characters at once but when I tapped on another character to upgrade, I was asked to finish the other one with gems first. Any insight out there?

Hey everyone I just found the last five at a Toys R Us in Norfolk, Virginia. Cost me $42 for the lot. There were several so I’m guessing they are trickling out to stores.

I emailed Hasbro last December and they said first quarter 2015 we would see more availability so they are true to word.

Before I found them, I emailed Hasbro asking how wide distribution is so far, etc. Also, on the Toys R Us site it lists a couple of these as exclusives so I wouldn’t bother with Wal-Mart or Targert, etc.

This happened to me once and I completely forgot about the screen shot until I saw this post. I laughed out loud because Starscream looks like he’s expecting help.

So there are a lot of time travel mentions through the forum but thought this the most appropriate place for my comment.

I think we all know the risks, punishments for time travel but I am pleased to report that it appears I am off punishment! Many, many levels ago I thought I would try a trick I learned online that minimizes penalties (yeah right) and it left the whole bottom section of the map barren. No egg bots, no coins, nothing. A couple days ago I started getting coins and even gems there! Happy days indeed.

I have learned my lesson and never did it again but am happy to see coins and gems there again after all this time. I have Telepods and Jenga mode unlocked and am quite content!

I’m level 181 on my iPhone and level 58 on my Kindle Fire. It’s kind of fun starting over. I’m hoping I meet myself somewhere in the future and implode. Given how long it takes high level characters to upgrade, I just might!
