@canimalfan2018 Space and Bad Piggies did get minor changes, the Rovio R was added sometime around 2014 and appears to have been updated recently for Rovio’s newer simplified logo.

Star Wars II had a simple color change, the icon’s background was red originally, it was changed to the orange color around the release of Rebels.

Adblockers are almost a necessity these days. If you’re seeing ads targeting a particular subject matter more than usual, then you probably either:

1. Made several different searches on the subject matter.

2. Said something on any social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc) regarding the subject matter.

Facebook is a scummy company in general, I never really trusted them and this only adds to that buildup of distrust.

The ads are probably personalized or somewhat based on location. By doing things like turning off location services or disabling tailored ads in your device settings, the number of political ads will become greatly diminished

The ads are usually done by a 3rd party entity, not by Rovio. They’re also most likely based on things such as location or search history.

@airplane-lover The PC version has been discontinued for years and still works just fine. The recent discontinuation of the mobile versions has nothing to do with that since it’s a sound error.

Install DirectX 11 from Microsoft, That error message means that you’re using DirectX 8, while Angry Birds requires DirectX 9 or higher.

While the game was made in 2012, it was given a complete overhaul and all of the older levels were removed. The 110 that’s on the Piggy Tower are all new levels.

They weren’t really available to download, most were online-only. Angry Birds Volcano still exists for whatever reason, the first two parts of Angry Birds Breakfast have been found and made public. Angry Birds Chrome was the main online version and it’s webgame most played, it has been found and archived but it requires some setup first.

Not gonna lie, AB is kinda irrelevant right now. The only people here now are a mix of hardcore/longtime fans and new fans who chanced upon it.

UPDATE 5/29/2020

Things have kinda taken a backseat now mostly due to life and burnout.

I intend to continue working on the AB cinematic trailer remake, I can’t give a proper release as it’s too early to tell (currently about 12 seconds have been made into rough animation).

I’ve always intended for this to be a learning experience for me, as I’ve yet to make anything on this scale without heavy use of outsourced assets such as sprites.

ABCTR is currently a low priority for me, and will only get lower if more and more technical or personal issues arise.

Nice! Will other old long-lost themes be making a comeback? AB chrome made a few tweaks to older levels, as well as having a few other themes hidden in the game files.

Strange, I’ve been playing using a 4th gen i5 and a GT 1030 and I’ve had no issues running the game aside from some occasional stutter.
