Angry Birds Rio has been discontinued in February this year and therefore will not let you play the game. The game might come back in 2024 as that is when Rio 3 is scheduled to come out.

@airplane-lover The PC version has been discontinued for years and still works just fine. The recent discontinuation of the mobile versions has nothing to do with that since it’s a sound error.

Install DirectX 11 from Microsoft, That error message means that you’re using DirectX 8, while Angry Birds requires DirectX 9 or higher.
