Angry Birds Space Solar System Level 10-11 Walkthrough

Here is our 3-star walkthrough strategy for Angry Birds Space Solar System Level 10-11 “Neptune”. The strategy shown yields a score of 59,050.

Sometimes Rat had to spend a lot of time to get top score, but not always. He had the incredible ability to set very high marks even a few days after a level was released. This is was happened for Solar System 10-11.”Good luck, you will need it.” he said to whoever might want to challenge him. And he probably did not say it lightly. So… good luck!

I nudged the large, lower-left asteroid into the icesteroid being “grabbed” by the lowest pig. The ensuing chain reaction took out all pigs and the infoeggsteroid. It didn’t take out the gas bottle. Unfortunately, (I hate using that word.) this strategy is not very repeatable. In fact, I haven’t been able to reproduce it yet. Sorry, but that’s how I got a 170K score.

@philsey I got 75k doing the same. I found aiming straight into the V-shape at about 11 o’clock on the asteroid/clew seems most promising. An icy fragment from the clew hits the nearest small boulder which again hits another one and so forth, eventually setting off the upper left clew. Looks repeatable to me!

Whoo hoo! The Rat left his mark on Neptune!

Just in case there was ever any doubt. Yes…it was a one-birder. And unlike @philsey‘s strategy, it is repeatable. But it isn’t easy. ha ha ha

Aim about a birds width below the lip of the gas volcano. Back off the power a bit, release, and watch the show. One of the small icy rock fragments from the initial explosion will get caught in the gas jet and travel to the large boulder above the egg. It explodes sending a fragment to the large boulder below the egg which in turn sends one of it’s own fragments back to the gas jet. It returns to the fray and…let’s just say it gets convoluted after that. Fragment this, fragment that, pig, gas canister, pig, rock, rock, rock…and you’re done. Wasn’t that easy?

Good luck. You’ll need it.

My approach is a slight variation from the one in the video. I send the bird into the small rock slightly below the one in the video for the same purpose as in the video. For me it provides a better setup for eliminating the pigs near the vent and activating the white thruster.

I was able to get Rat’s approach to work, but never with a high score.

Wow, what a lucky one-birder! I aimed at the boulder as @campeast (thank you for the tip on the first Red) describes above, but instead of hitting it squarely in the middle, I aimed at the bottom. I couldn’t believe it when I saw all of the piggies were gone, and a piece of ice/rock flying towards the steam vent. It hit the iceteroid and kaboom! nearly everything was gone!

The trouble I have with the video, @rat9 ‘s and @campeast ‘s strats is getting the gas canister to go off. Seems to happen once in a blue moon of Neptune. I go down one more rock from @cmpeast . The little one. Aim so the dotted line is about exactly on the top of the rock. The bird will hit the big rock to the right of the egg and carom into the blue ice. For some reason, this makes it far more likely that the gas canister will go off. Maybe once every 10 flings. Then you just need luck. Which way will the gas canister go? Ideal would be to the top pigs and rock. I have not had that happen, but it has gone on both sides of it. Good is if the canister is destroyed somehow. Occasionally something will set off the top blue ice. I think this strat is easier, and I think it has the potential to score as high as @rat9‘s , but since I haven’t actually done that…… I can’t be sure.

@Stocktoad I’m trying to figure out which of the small rocks you mean!

Ok there’s the big Bear claw rock,, directly under that is the medium boulder that the video shoots at, Just under that, slightly to the left is a small kinda egg shaped rock that i assume it’s the one @campeast aims for, then directly under that is a very small rock , almost in the middle of the bottom 2 boulders not counting the bottom Bear Claw
Is that the small one your meaning?

@kathy probably too late, but the rock is the third one down from the bear claw. (the second smallest under the bear claw) The bird itself caroms off the rock, into the next rock and then into the ice rock. Not difficult to hit the shot, but results (of course) vary greatly. Most often not a one birder, but the gas canister goes off a little more often than the other strats. I played with it for a while today and couldn’t improve my score either. I also tried the ratStrat without any particularly good results.

@steviep147 my 77k was with 2 birds. First was to the lower asteroid/clew like @philsey describes which sets off the icesteroid being held by the pig.. boulders get pushed around near the canister, red drifts off upwards then the volcano blows him back to set off the icesteroid near the canister. I was lucky that the canister was set off.
The 3 pigs at the top remained so I used Rat’s shot into the volcano to set off the top icesteroid.
There’s so much randomness to the destruction, it took a whole lot of flings & I think I just was really lucky.

Space Eagle walkthrough, with 2 sardine cans — Solar System level 10-11 (Neptune)

Even though I found solutions with 1 sardine can, they were not consistent (that is, they commonly fail when trying to replicate). So, in all of my videos for Brass Hogs and Solar System, this is the only one that uses 2 sardine cans.

Start by throwing a sardine can directly at the lowest pig, calling for the eagle shortly after hitting the white triangle. It is key to destroy as much of this pig’s white “arms” that hold an icy rock as possible, by making them crash onto the blue planet below. Next shot, another sardine can: by being pushed at the end of the icy geyser’s gas stream, pop the first chained pig’s bubble and call the eagle soon after that. If the pig to the right of the smart egg-bomb remains there after that, then use the last red bird (by causing an icy reaction, if possible) or a sardine can to pop them.

Feel free to discuss this level’s feather strategies here!
