The Dojo is not working correctly for the new Blues class.
I got the new Blues class a couple of hours ago. All the rest of my classes are rank 12, so I should have gotten unlimited snountling offers for the new Blues class. However when I went to the Dojo, the only offering was to upgrade all blues for 15 LC. I hard closed all apps and did a hard power-down and restart. When I went back to the Dojo the offering was the same. I chose to reset the Dojo offerings for 5 LC, but then I got the message that all available offers are sold out. But I did lose the 5 LC.

This is not Rovio’s official board, just a fan site, so the chances Rovio reads this are very slim… this topic is here to raise awareness about gamebreaking bugs, to other players, so they can try to avoid them.
If you wanna talk directly to Rovio support, you need to go to their support page on their website and open a ticket… but still, I personally don’t think what you encountered is a bug at all, it’s just a bad luck streak.

I had to collect 2 of each item. So i got the golden arrows through the bonus videos and did not have to wait for the last gate to open.

But this must be another bug, because after getting the new blues class and found that it’s not possible to upgrade it trough the dojo I restarted the game and afterwards I still have the new blues class, but now inside the event there are more items required (up to 20). But I still have the class activated.

To alle people calling “Cheater” without knowing my person or waiting for an answer: go fu… yourself.

Are you realizing NOW only, that if you got the class 3 days before everyone else, there must be something wrong or bugged about it?
Did you only need 2 items for each type and you got all arrows (20? or 2 in your case?) from bonus videos? How is that even possible? Even assuming that’s the truth and you got one arrow every 12/24h, you shouldn’t have the right amount by the time you made that post.
I’m sorry but your story doesn’t make sense at all and I find quite suspicious you’re the only one who encountered “this bug” out of everyone else.
You can find it unfair if other players think so, but that is understandable given the situation imho.

Also, I still find quite odd you posted here to complain about dojo offers not popping up for Blues new class but you didn’t mention anything about a supposedly game breaking bug during the event, in the days before.
I mean, if it’s a bug that benefits you, it is not worth mentioning but if it hurts you then it’s time to complain about it?

It’s funny how do you want to blame someone. Maybe the right way is to keep quiet or better apologize if your making wrong accusations.

How do you think, I can know that I’m the only one who has to collect 2 items of each type? What you beliefe or not is not my problem. I can tell you: I’ve got all needed itmes (2 of each) 6 hours beforde I made the post above. Every 12 hours it is possible to watch a video and get an item for free. The rest is pure math. So give it a try. Simply write an email to rovio, my nick here is identical to my accountname. Write them, that they should investigate, look up, what ever. I’m no cheater and I didn’t do something wrong. So please: feel free.

And to your last question: How could I know, that the “2 of each” was a bug? Everything workend fine in the game. In fact all my other classes are level 12 so the event was quite “useless” for me. I’m not needing the points of the event and so, in the first place, I didn’t played the event very intense or even gave it a “strategic look”. I only played the levels when enough energy was there and watched the bonus videos.

And now that is all I will write to you. It seems, that some sort of envy or anger is your motivation to accuse and offend people which are seeking for help or information and my time is to valuable to waste it with such guys. So take my answer or leave it. It doesn’t bother me. I’ll don’t feed the troll any more.

This has gotten both ridicolous and way out of hands, I should be envy of what exactly…? Should I feel envy about something everybody is going to have either today or tomorrow…?
I don’t understand what your point is bringing “the envy topic” up.

My point is, you can’t blame other players for thinking you cheated the game somehow if you got something that shouldn’t be available at the time you made the post… you did see our reaction (and not only mine) at the time you posted here, so calm your tits, take a deep breath before posting rubbish and I may have quietly apologized to you since I MAY have made a mistake, instead, you chose the 5 years old kid reaction, went on calling people names and this is what you get.
My other point being, I find weird how you didn’t notice something odd was going on when you (according to what you’ve been saying) was required to only get 2 items per type in this event (you never did participate in any event in this game before?) and since there are 4-5 topics related to this event, full of players screenshots, where you can clearly see that’s not the case, how didn’t you find it suspicious?

About reporting this issue to Rovio, don’t worry about it, I just did.
Not because I want to prove you’re a cheater or I want Rovio to eventually punish you somehow, but because that’s something you’re supposed to do when you encounter a bug this huge since it was CLEARLY something not meant to happen, instead of keeping quiet because it’s cool and then complaining if people may think you’re cheating.

To all those complaining about the Dojo bug or glitch, here’s what fixed mine:

1. Closed the app
2. Reinstalled the game and connected back to Rovio account
3. Spent 5 lucky coins to speed up the next offers and that there fixed it for me.

It’s basically like that event timer glitch during the Chinese event during Angry Birds Transformers where spending 10 gems fixed the issue. On the other hand, WHY ISN’T MY ARENA GOLDEN PIG GIVING ME ANY NEW SET ITEMS? All the 3 new sets never showed up for me even during normal rolls. Why? For what reason? It wasn’t fixed even after reinstalling!

This Glitch isn’t related to the Dojo , but it is related to the entire game. Has anyone noticed increased Game Freezing and or total crashes? I’ve had, ever since the last update, been the subject of Daily errors. Yes, I had restarted/clean cache/uninstalled and reinstalled/i know the drill, but it happens AT least once per day; strangely enough only the first time I log on to a device.

@strategia55 Yes I have noticed it too. I have kept count and so far I am up to 73 crashes/freezes/restarts in Epic since the last update. Good God, it seems like this game just keeps getting more unstable for every update.

@pointless Not always mind you but I AM getting Snoutling offers while you guys only seem to be getting Lucky Coin offers. Also, the number of offers active at one time for me is two; one for Snoutlings and one always for Lucky Coins (at least I am getting normal offers).

By the way, do you have a solution for Arena Golden Pig Machine not giving me new set items? What do I have to do for them to show up?

1. I am fairly sure I have seen Rovio tech support people respond in person here, so I think there is a fairly high likelihood they poke their heads in here just to lurk, occasionally.

2. If I had gotten two new set items out of 30 total set items, that would be bad luck. Maybe. Horrible bad luck, but maybe plausible. But 0 for 30 is so improbable it borders on something like only a single ticket being sold for a national lottery and then finding that single ticket won (lotteries are won when the total number of tickets sold approaches some reasonable fraction of the total possible). It just doesn’t *ever* happen if there is only one ticket. (Like watching for the spontaneous decay of a proton or a baseball quantum tunneling through a catcher’s mitt. Sure, theory predicts it, so theoretically it’s possible, but it’s never been observed and never will be since the probability is so low.)

The rest of you post is, to be blunt, kinda dumb. First thing I did was submit a report to Rovio. Second thing I did was come here to let people know there *might* be a problem so they didn’t waste their LCs. You might not appreciate I did it, but I’m guessing a few other people did. And even if they didn’t, did it really affect you? But then I see you’re getting flamed from a lot of people. Sorry about that.

@datguygamer I don’t know of a workaround, and I doubt there is one. For all I know the AGPM isn’t broken. Rovio hasn’t responded to my service request, they typically run about a week or two in responding. So they have to acknowledge there is a problem. My hunch is they will deny it, and that I just had bad luck. But statistically I don’t see how it can be working correctly. Let me run through this for you. Because the game puts my new set items at the end of the chain, the last time I got a new set item was at least 50 set items ago (meaning I have a lot of Sinister, Blessed, Blazing, Frost, and Mighty items, and very very few Valiant, Linking, and Anger). So it’s like I flipped a coin with a 0.375 probability of heads (i.e. *any* new set item (6/16)) and 0.625 probability of tails (i.e. *any* old set item (10/16) and got tails 50 times in a row. The likelihood of that happening by chance is 0.625^50, which is a very small number (6×10^-11). That probability is a factor of 100 smaller, give or take, than winning Powerball on a single ticket. It just doesn’t happen.

The only Rovio member that shows up every once in a while is @roviobeni and I’m sorry if my answer sounded “dumb” to you (really now…?) but to me it sounded dumber assuming the AGPM is bugged because you didn’t get the item you wanted.

The chances of getting that particular set item you want out of everything else, are so low that even spinning the AGPM during x5 Rainbow Riot a thousand of times, won’t necessarily guarantee you anything, because, you know, it still is a %.

Then again, feel free to think otherwise but refrain to call people dumb if they’re just pointing out you’re barking at the wrong tree here.

@ryogokusama I will try to explain this to you one more time, because it’s not a case of looking for a single item. It’s looking for a class of items. In that case the frequency at which you draw a set item isn’t important since you would assume that you have equal chance of drawing any item on any spin. So over a number of spins you get a certain number of set items. The number of those set items, when sorted into classes, should match the frequency at which each class is present in the total number of set items. So, for *any* of the items for the 3 new sets, there are six in total. There are 5 old sets, so there are ten old set items. So the probability of drawing *any* item from the old set is 10 out of 16. The probability of drawing *any* of the new set items is 6 out of 16. If you draw 50 set items, and *none* of them are from any of the new sets, the likelhood of that happening is (10/16) raised to the 50th power. This is a very small number. It would be roughly equivalent to flipping heads (or tails) 50 times in a row. That is just not going to happen unless you are using a loaded coin.

So the situation is what I described, I’ve drawn 50 set items, none of which are for *any* of the new sets. *If* I had drawn say 10 new set items and 40 old set items, then what you say would be true since there is a relatively large probability of that happening (I think it’s like 0.3%). Even if there had been only five new set items I could accept that as happening by chance (0.001% chance). But 0 out of 50 is *so* improbable that it almost certainly represents a broken game.

If you don’t understand that, or how to calculate binomial probabilities, and what they represent, then you shouldn’t be commenting on this subject. Either way, I’m finished discussing this with you since you don’t have anything useful to contribute.

@jamairoqui Well, I didn’t expect that much of a discussion to begin with, giving the content of your complaining and the tone you’re using, then again since you’re so sure about this it must really be the Arena AGPM is completly broken… just for you, or maybe it’s only mine that is not “bugged”, since I’ve been getting items with an understandable rate so far (3 new set items out of 10 set items).
Anyway, I’ll pick up on your advice here and I’ll finish disccussing this with you, mostly because there is nothing more to say… I hope Rovio will fix your rigged AGPM.

But how many new set items since the last update? I have some new set items too, but I haven’t gotten *any* recently. Since the last update. If you go back and look, I’m betting you’ll find all of your recently acquired set items for the banner are from the original sets.

The chance of getting new set items may be very low. But today I was able to get the linking banner from AGPM without any Rainbow Riot.

@roviohuzz @roviobeni — I still think the Dojo is broken for the new Blues TH class, at least if that is the only class you have left to upgrade. See also my previous post above.
* Yesterday I tried the 5 LC reset of Dojo offerings and got the message that all offers are sold out. I never got another real offer the rest of the day.
* Today I got a 15 LC offer for all of blues classes when the Dojo reset. I spent those 15 LC and did get the TH upgraded to rank 2. Then the Dojo went back to all offers sold out. Just got another Dojo reset after waiting 3 hrs, and again it says all offers sold out.
* The way the Dojo has worked in the past as recently as 2 days ago, is that when you only have 1 class left below rank 12, you get 3 offers: 500 mastery upgrade for that class for snoutlins, 1000 mastery upgrade for that bird for 15 LC, and 1000 mastery for all for 75 LC.

@datguygamer — Do (did) you only have TH left to get to rank 12? How many offers were you getting after you re-installed the game?

@datguygamer — Well, I did what you suggested: deleted the game and reinstalled. When I went back to the Dojo, it had a 15 LC offer for +500 mastery for all of blues classes, I did buy it, and did get the 500 mastery for TH; however, I’m now back to “all offers sold out.” I’m also now out 35 LC.
So if the only way to use the Dojo to get TH to rank 12 is to buy 500 mastery for 15 LC, then it will cost more than $200. and take who knows how many 3 hr waits for a new Dojo offering.

@roviohuzz @roviobeni — Please tell me this is a bug that you will fix in a couple of days (not next planned update) and not one of Rovio’s incredibly greedy and stupid “fixes.”

For your first question: No, the dojo is giving me the options to upgrade Treasure Hunters as well as those Lucky Coin offers. However, the Lucky Coin offers are coming up more often than the Snoutling ones.

As for the second mention: I never bought the class offers the first time. Read my post. I skipped the offer with 5 Lucky Coins. Up until now, the only Lucky Coins I’ve wasted are those coins for skipping the 3 hr wait times and very few times for upgrading with 15 coins. Also, I’m not maxed out, I’m currently on Level 7 Mastery.

One more thing, the Arena Golden Pig Machine seems to be fixed. Why do I say this? I got a free roll from Piggy McCool and it gave me a Valiant Tapestry. I got a video roll and it gave me Angry Wings. So, maybe it’s fixed or maybe I’m just hallucinating.

* Do you have all possible classes except the TH at rank 12?
* Are you getting more than one offer at a time?
* Are you getting the “all classes sold out” message?
As for me, I am waiting to see if the Dojo changes when the event is over. My TH is currently at rank 3. They are pretty fun to play with, so I will be very upset if they can’t be upgraded after the event is over, which I admit would appear to be the case. In fact it seems that Rovio has fixed it so you can no longer upgrade you last non-max class, no matter what the class is, in one go. Talk about unfair and unreasonable greed.
