@oobear The key part of what you said there is ‘with at least one bird still active’. I never ever experience the freeze when I’ve used all my birds, doesn’t matter what’s going on (ie mirror, sonic etc). Make sure you use all your birds (even if you don’t need them) before making the final strike against the enemy.

I’ve played something like 16 battles today and got only 2 red ropes. Not cool. I suspect if I was re-rolling my chances would increase (because they want you to buy money for FE perhaps). But I only have 20 FE and am reserving them for the final stage.

Did NOBODY read my post from yesterday? Especially Rovio since that might help the bug fixers. The problem happens exclusively if you end a battle with potential turns remaining for your birds. @jim151 Same here, all my opponents are dummies. I’m now over 10k clear of the nearest one and it hasn’t moved at all.

OK guys, i think I’ve discovered how to NOT have the game freeze on you at the end of a battle. It may be coincidence but when following my rules, I haven’t had any freezes.

Make sure that when you’re getting towards the end of a battle (even if it’s the halfway stage of a 2-waver) that you’ve used all your birds BEFORE striking the final blow.…[Read more]

So I just went back to play the event and it’s disappeared? I no longer have that flag at the top of the screen and there are no gates anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this? I was playing it about an hour ago but since then it’s gone!

@duiksmurf Good grief, this event is impossible enough without THAT problem! I’ve lost at least 25 stamina drinks now due to the game freezing on me and that equates to a potential loss of a lot of points and prizes. Fortunately for me, my timer hasn’t been defective (so far). What platform are you playing on?

@sutekh137 All we can do is carry on and see what happens. I’m certainly not going to break my trend and start giving them cash money for coins to buy FE or Stamina with. Especially given how buggy this event has turned out to be. Maybe they’ll cave and add more time or grant everybody with the reward anyway.

@sutekh137 So basically it’s impossible right? Those of us with NO spare drinks and almost NO FE’s are definitely screwed. So far I’ve done 3 of the new battles and got zero rings out of it and like you, my last battle froze. *sigh*

GAAAAAAAGH! Damn thing froze on 3.3, just after I defeated everybody!!! 5 drinks wasted, no chance of a ring… this is getting really really annoying.
