I just discovered these sad news now, when I saw the homage in today’s challenge.

What an original and great contributor to the Nest we have lost.

I believe most of us saw through his somewhat rough style, and recognized the friendly and humorous person he was.

He will be deeply missed.

I logged in with Facebook for the first time two weeks ago. This caused that I lost all progress in Summer Camp, Piggywood, Hammier Things and Ragnahog. I tried to log out, and play as guest, but the problem remained.

I sent my complaints to Rovio, who came back to me after ten days with this (quote):

“We’re sorry to hear that game causes troubles. Could you please try to:

-Sign out from Facebook,
-Reboot the device,
-Launch the game,
-Sign in to Facebook

We hope those steps will help. We ran into some issues regarding the Facebook progress synchronization and received feedback from players that after a few attempts the progress might be restored. If the above doesn’t help, I am afraid that we will be not able to help you.” (Unquote)

The advice didn’t help. So atleast if you haven’t used the Facebook login before, and have scores you want to keep from Summer Camp and onwards, I would say don’t login.

I will have to start all over with these levels. @admins Should I delete my entered scores for Summer Camp, Piggywood, Hammier Things and Ragnahog?

@hunnybunny I just played Summer Pignic 1-12 and quickly improved 10k to current 5th place using 3 birds. Might be one for the list.

@tripolar I use the power & vol- buttons for screenshots so no help from me there, but for video I use and can recommend AZ Screen Recorder.

@mvnla2 Space BI 8-39: Already on the list, but here is my experiance with score and frequency while playing for today’s challenge: It occurs immediately after reset, it’s the TNT that goes off. I have seen it three times, with these scores: 19030, 17710 and 38750. I had 110 resets between the first and the second, and 357 resets between the second and third.

Thanks @micromax, for that screen recorder tip. I downloaded it and it seems good. Only trouble is, I’m lazy! Having to actually handle it for every (usually failed) attempt feels like a drag to me. That’s what I loved with Everyplay, that you didn’t even have to think about it until you actually had a success finish, and THEN choose to tap “save your gameplay”! But we’ll see, maybe I’ll get used to it! It does work nicely!

As I guess you have all noticed, Everyplay was lost in Space(!) with the Solar system update.

I have recently contacted Rovio about this, and their reply was:
“Unfortunately there were some issues related to the Everyplay functionality so it was removed from the game. We do not yet know if it is coming back on a later update”.

I did indeed have some issues using Everyplay to begin with, as I mentioned in my previous post. I experienced slow uploading which sometimes crashed, and I sometimes had difficulties watching others replays. I contacted Everyplay about it, and it turned out all problems was related to my slow wi-fi internet connection. When I switched to using mobile data or used my PC, it all worked just fine. It seems the Everyplay videos have quite high resolution, and that a good connection is required.

I have replied to Rovio that I am really dissapointed with them removing Everyplay, as I think is was a great feature. I actually thought we would see Everyplay eventually in all the Angry Bird games, but it seems we are far from that at the moment. I can only hope they get lots of complaints, and that they will reconcider their decision!

@justpast40 I’m on Android/Google Play, and I’m not sure if the App Store is different. But in Google Play it doesn’t look to me as if it’s really renamed Angry Birds Free, but merely marked with a “Free”-tag.

I have the old, not HD, not premium version. I remember it originally had ads, but there is an option to pay a small amount to get it ads-free. I did this years ago and had almost forgot. Look in the in app store:

The game and levels are not different from HD or Premium. Its not like those Angry Birds Free, Seasons Free and Rio Free games.

Basically what I’m trying to say is, it’s the same old game, just tagged “Free”. In Google Play when I press the icon it says “installed”, which tells me its the same game that I’ve had all along.

It’s a very neat feature indeed and hopefully it will be embedded in more AB games in the future.

I just tried it since I got a good score, but unfortunately Everyplay had some problems then and the replay didn’t show up. But it works fine now – so I guess its back to the slingshot and hope for some results worth sharing :-)

@admins Entering scores:
Given the random missions in space mirror, is it OK to enter the few scattered 3-star scores one might have? Or does the FAQ advise about entering at least one episode worth of scores apply here too?

@mvnla2 The colour can be turned on and off in the settings menu at the start page. Second button from the top in settings. I just noticed, so I don’t know if this feature has been there all the time, or it came with the 2.1.2 update downloaded to day.
