    Got a reply trying to tell me I should have quit the game and all other apps so the leaderboard updated or something. Made no sense to me, as I was winning with seconds remaining way out in front and got nothing at all, and had the window open when the timer ran out which is apparently the bug. So I think I am still owed 1000 tokens for winning an event. *sigh*

    If there’s any way you could get me my 1000 tokens back that I won early this morning GMT (17th) I’d be very grateful. My username on the leaderboards is WRECKGAR. I did have the window open when the challenge ended so I’m sure that it was the bug you mention that was responsible. I had 733 points when the timer ran out on a challenge for the presents/gifts. I’d won one earlier too so I currently have 1940 tokens, when I should have 2940 (+ any others I get from now on). Not sure how much I’ll be able to play over Christmas so I was really trying to get enough tokens for Shockwave early on.

    So just won my event, but didn’t get my 1000 tokens… Presumably because of this bug.

    Then I come here and read it’s due to a bug that no-one would know about unless they’d read it here.

    Seriously? This has me wondering whether to quit playing again. *sigh* this game…

    My feedback is that it’s incredibly frustrating to have yet another major bug that can rob players of hard-earned gems (let alone if players paid for them!!).

    Not happy.

    Yay, me too, my addictio- er, game is back! Thank goodness for that. I think!?

    Of course the first thing that happened was I played a gold dome and it crashed half-way through… but that has happened before, and everything else seems alright now.

    Hopefully user name will now be ironic rather than accurate ;)
    And maybe I’ll stick around on here too, seems like a nice forum.

    Wow, my data is at 1.4GB!

    Rather hilariously, on Apple’s iOS app store Angry Brids Transformers is included under a list of ‘Best New Updates’! Most of the recent reviews seem to disagree, for obvious reasons…

    @angerissues I am also not on Facebook. Had a crashing issue with previous update. At that time, I deleted the app and then reloaded, but opened it to play using the Game Center “play” option. If you’re also on Game Center, that can also be a way to get back to your progress.

    , thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately I don’t ever use Game Center either. It’s either Rovio do another update to fix the problem or all progress lost for me I think. :(

    I accept some responsibility for not having my progress saved somehow, but I think it’s very poor that such a devastating bug can happen with such an apparently obvious trigger (simply playing the game…). Just wish I’d never updated.

    First post here, I signed up specifically because of this issue. Annoyingly this was the first time I updated with checking on here if there were any problems… *sigh*

    I have sunk loads of time into this game, I will be very displeased if I lose all progress (I don’t do Facebook).

    I had a character upgrade and missions in progress when I updated.

    *nervous* Hope this can be fixed soon!
