WHAT?! Today level 1 was trivial, and level 2’s boss was mildly challenging. It was Level 3’s boss that did me in. I tried 3 times, and gave up. But if you think the FIRST boss was hard, then you need to re-think your bird strategy. First boss today was more often than not one-birded, and rarely more than two.

You give yourself too much credit. You posted that, what, 10 days ago? Apple’s rigorous approval process (especially for games that will be downloaded millions of times, like this one) are not lightly dodged. If Rovio only became aware of that exploit when you posted it here, then it most assuredly would NOT have been ready in time to QA for this update. That one was going away, whether you posted it or not.

It was posted a month ago, more than enough time for a fix. But I don’t blame triphop either, I mean most of us would never have known about it until he posted.

But in future, these little exploits should be kept to PM if we actually want them to remain. It was kind of fun watching the eagle just obliterate the map. Now the eagle barely moves a wooden block :(

The loss of Infinites is bad because it was really the great equalizer. There’s plenty of people with maxed out everything,whether thru playing or via “features” and Infinites was the answer.

It is a bonus system, which lets you collect some sort of coins via purchasing gema or other stuff with real money. The more of those coins you collect, the more in game rewards you are able to claim. The highest reward is tens of thousands of feathers, but you literally would have to spend ten thousand dollars in gems. So, it’s kind if a “payback points” system – or any other turnover related patronage reward.

And FYI: yes, the first boss of the KPP could have been one birded (or two), but I also tried three times and every time the boss fell down in his pit and didn’t get hit by one rock falling from above. Three times in a row. That’s not due to a lack of skill, this is bad luck.

It cost me 60 gems to complete today KPP. 1st round, I tried twice and the second, Terrence did help a lot. The 3rd room cost me 60 gems which I think it’s fair.

After playing the update a little, I’m coming around. I’ve been able to win every arena match only bringing in 2 spells, ducks and hot peppers and I honestly think I could’ve won the no spells. I can live without infinites as long as the arena stays fair…now to break the habit of force closing after every win lol.

The KPP seems beatable, yes lvl1 and 2 have a boss but there are only 2 or 3 rooms before the boss which should leave you with enough birds to win, gems should only be needed on lvl3

The chests appear to have great possibly. The common chest can give up to 40 pearls or 25 gems. The rare can give around 100 pearls and 200 gems. I say “possibly” because Ive seen chest rare cards that offer 200 gems but haven’t picked the that card yet…It could be rigged like ToF.

Infinite spells allowed us to play far more uninhibited and take risks. A bad player isn’t going to be saved by spells.

Having said that, I wonder if our opponents had spells that were not visible to us. Many times I would play ME first bird and clean out a 3 structure room and score my 3.5M. then the opponent would clear his room and earn the same with one “non ME” bird. That’s not possible.

So… Since we can’t be sure of what is going on at least this should discourage such happenings.

The “Lady of Infinite” along with the ticket system are what I think blew this feather / bird level thing out of proportion once introduced. The “Lady of Infinite” should have been caught and executed long time ago so players cannot bring full spell compliment into arena all the time. Rovio is going to do nothing and can do nothing to claw back the damage done.

You can win arena with less spells but not as easy in some of those rooms where there is a structure tuck away on the far side….

They did something with blizzard. I used it and structure just collapsed. So i tried it again and it happened 2 times of 5.

Is there a official site were all the updated features are listed? It’s a shame we have to figure out stuff like new blizzard properties on our own…

Don’t you read the information within the updates? Does android not give information like the apple app store about the software update?
In my update information ist clearly says, that silver inflicts more damage and that blizzard also got stronger.

I think Blizzard now wobbles the buildings as it turns them to ice, so you get a better chance of something falling over.

Silver- I am yet to really notice how she’s been upgraded, but I think after you send her curve shot into something if she rolls down and happens to bump into anything else, she can crack it (as opposed to before, when she just bounced off of it). So she stays volatile a little longer.

I like the fact that now we can get better items from the Legendary chest.

Don’t like the fact that now Rovio has created both a gem AND a spell deficit. People are going to be depleting their spells in a much more rapid rate than they get them back. If this was a move to try to curtail spell usage in the Arena, I guess it will work. But again, one more move towards forcing people to buy things that used to come for free with the right knowledge.

However, with the comments about the Arena competition becoming lighter, I tend to think that many players have fallen out of love with this game- it has been out on the market for almost 2 yrs now, game dynamics haven’t changed much and we’re continually presented with new setups of the same things over and over with different colours. Plus I would be confident to say that the casual player who downloads the game and plays for a bit would get tired of the constant badgering to spend $$$ for this and that, and then just move on. If there’s more time spent on dodging ads and reading popups than there is actually playing, players get bored.

Only able to play the tower once per day, then it goes dark again. No option to pay to open it.

The Lady of the Infinites was being discussed long before a month ago. I never used it, no need for a couple of reasons. One is that I don’t take spells into the arena. I only used them for 2-4 levels on the KPC. Not sure if that option will come back or if we will keep having three boss pigs from now on.

If you accidentally press the ToF icon when it has 250 gems on, will it ask for confirmation or is the 250 gone?

@cognitive doesn’t confirm- just sends you right into ToF and removes your gems.

Very convenient that it’s located right beside the daily/15-min chest, so that if you got clumsy fingers like mine and you’re using an iPhone with teeny tiny icons like me, it’s easy to accidentally push that button instead :(

In my Google Play, there is only “Uninstall” and “Open” buttons.

Should I uninstall the game first?
If so, shall I lose all of my existing AB2 records? (I’m connected to FB when playing)

I’ve only been playing this latest update off an on for a couple days but find it agreeable overall. However, I’m not a hardcore player and don’t take the time to understand the mechanics or dynamics in order to take full advantage.

Case in point:
– There is mention of infinite spells. I don’t really understand what is meant by this.
– Lady of Infinite? What is this??
– Mighty Eagle Pause Trick? Haven’t a clue.

True, I don’t Google or frequest the forum much but this is a perfect example of why I and lots of other players should!

Of course, I will now be doing a search and reading up on the above myself.

KPP is a little difficult for me, especially as the boss levels have been so tricky (and unreasonable/unfair I would say in the instances I’ve encountered so far) that I’ve had to spend a lot of gems to finish off. I think it’s made the King levels quicker but a drain on gems (which I’ve since learnt about).

I actually like the free reward cards which gives a better chance of getting a decent reward. I wasted gems on the Lengedary and won’t be doing that again in a hurry (I currently have 233 gems and never have any more than maybe 1,000 gems, which will give you some idea of my activity).

End of the day, regardless of whether we like an update or not, we are stuckk with and have to adapt – or simply uninstall :-)

Wtf they did with Silver. She’s worst than blues in some conditions, if earlier Silver was able to destroy most of structures so now she nearly damages the same pig-buildings. My question is: why?

infinite spells and Lady of infinite refer to the same circumstance. There used to be a glitch, which enabled you to use your spells in a match and not actually lose the spells. So you could easily go into an Arena match with all five spell Cards, devestate your opponent and not lose your spells – since this Little helper has been disabled, I don’t go into details how to do it (and probably you already found out).

There’s a thread in this Forum called how to get ultimate destruction from the mighty eagle. When you pause the game while the mighty eagle spell rushes through the screen and unpause like 2-3 seconds later, every structure in the room will get blasted away – this was also fixed with this update.

you think so? I actually think, silver got better! When you let her do her whole Loop, she’s quite strong in my opinion.
