Patch 1.5.3 preview

Don’t know if it matters but I tried the cave 11-4. Although all pigs was at level 60 but their hitpoints was manageable. My birds are a mixture between level 56 to 59 and I was able to auto-play it through with no issues. (yes I’m playing the updated version 1.5.3 and my OS is iOS9 (holding out on 10)

As far as the cave pigs go, mine are all still showing level 60, but the health/attack numbers are lower in cave 1 than they are in higher caves. Maybe just a visual glitch at this point?

Quite possible. 11-4’s pigs are not of the same strength as true Level 60 Brutes you meet in dungeons and events.
However, the “small” Brute that appears in 11-4 (the one that used to have 50% the health of a normal Brute, and a bit less attack) has heavily grown in health (approx. +55%). The other brutes also have roughly 25% more health than what I remember from 1.5.2.

Corporal on KPC is level 14 for me.

Maelstrom has 48,000 HP and hits 5 x 160.

Haha thanks for dumbing it down for me. Maelstrom’s Poseidon pig is lvl 40 with 5X130 damage and health 50310

Monty at Matilda’s Garden is lvl 4, health 314, damage 2X42. Sword Spirit at old nesting barrows is lvl 14,health 1367, damage is 405

Would the stats from the Wiki be consistent with what it was at 1.5.2?

Wiki says this about Maelstrom:

This pig is level 40. It has 47546 health.

LOL. Thank you! So now we have some evidence that the pigs have indeed been “rebalanced” in this update. But we can’t say “nerfed” because the attack power has actually increased! Can you get the same data for the Shogun pig in Western Bamboo Forest, and the Red/Knight in the old nesting barrows?

So now M61 is the new cap according to Rovio’s comment on Facebook. Rovio claimed to have also fixed Chronicle Caves and L0 piggies in castles.

Good call on Monty. In v1.5.3, he’s still level 4, but his health and attack are reduced to 193 and 2×34, respectively.
