I think that golden pig dungeon should give lucky coins instead of snoutlings. Golden pig was always source of lucky coins, so it shouldnt be different here. Also it is an event so rovio could make something more interesting than regular snoutlings reward.

@chrish15 — How do you know what’s on the reward wheel for the Golden Pig Dungeon?

It looks like they lowered the requirements to get the Stone Guardian because on my game it shows I only need 35 stars not 40 as tigerussell mentioned above.

@rucustum Since you regenerate 1 stamina every 15 minutes you’ll be able to easily collect all the materials you need by the time the event ends. Just login every 3-4 hours and spend your stamina collecting the items you need. You’ll be able to collect all the items you need without using any stamina potions or essence. You don’t need to collect all 20 feathers today, but if you are persistent enough about not wasting any stamina then you will collect about 20 today assuming you 3 star everything.

@mvnla2 All you do is click on something to see the reward. The first 3 areas have rewards of 1, 2 and 3 feathers and the Golden Cloud Castle shows 200 snoutlings when you click on it.

Anyone know what the Mastery rewards for this event are?

@rucustum If your only goal is feathers and you are short on re-roll essence run the 3 energy dungeon over and over… on average, assuming you re-use the stamina drinks, you get an average of .3333 feathers per energy, vs. .2625 per energy from the 5 energy dungeon and .2381 feathers per energy from the 7 energy dungeon. The 3 energy dungeon is only slightly worse than the other two for points (assuming you always get 3 stars and the second reward wheel).

my 2nd gate is already open… the first one shows the 24h countdown, but the second one (top left) is open… is it normal?

@abyssuss I agree with you. But we dont know what kind of dungeon the castle is. Probably a super-hard level than before, or LCs we get from the castle are from the enemies instead of roll-for-loot.

Now im a little miffed. They changed the amount of feathers from ten to twenty and I just played three five stamina battles and recieved only points. If they were goining to change it they needed to force the app to restart.

@tigerussell I agree that it’s annoying when Rovio changes things without warning. (Like an inter-update change!!) I hope I can open my device so I can start grinding up the points…otherwise I know what to do.

It’s different, and I like it. I personally found the battles to be quite easy, possibly due to high mastery. Also, the reward wheel is the same one as the christmas event.

For the 7 can battle, try Marksmen and Samurai/Cannoneer which are pretty effective.

I use the 3 characters i used to finish the game (mostly) from the beginning: Lightning Bird, Sea Dog, Spies, all at level 10!

Nice new concept. More suspense when we know we get new stuff. Better than classic, boring events!

@tigerussell, that’s strange, I’ve never had anything but 20 feathers listed. I started an hour into the event.

I started the second the event started, and nothing has changed except for the glitched out description of the wild boar effect. It used to say (value_3)% instead of 30%

@tigerussell @laura118b Yeah I started the event 2 minutes into it and it always said 20 feathers for me too. Also I can not see anything different with the battles either, they are the same as the first time I fought on the levels.

@korath88 I have already more than 6000 points. If you collect all 20 feathers your rewards on the prize wheel change to event points. 750 for hardest level, 500 for medium and 250 for the easiest. It is good to collect all materials before next gate opens because you gain a lot points this way.

It looks like there are 2 slightly different games.

I have played with my level 18 game on both iOS and android devices – and have found differences in the items to be gathered and the prize wheels on each device. My son also has a game on iOS. However his iOS game is the same as the version of the game on my android device. So it is not just iOS vs android.

The list of items required to be gathered for each game are
game 1: 10 feathers, 15 flowers, 15 tusks, 15 stone pieces, 40 stars
game 2: 20 feathers, 25 flowers, 40 tusks, 40 stone pieces, 35 stars

The prizes Wheels for easy and medium battles are
game 1
Easy: Feather, 20 points, stamina, 30 points, 75 points, 25 points, stamina, 15 points
Medium: 2xFeather, 40 points, stamina, 60 points, 150 points, 50 points, stamina, 30 points

game 2
Easy: Feather, 20 points, stamina, 30 points, feather, 25 points, stamina, 15 points
Medium: 2xFeather, 40 points, stamina, 60 points, feather, 50 points, stamina, 30 points

So game 2 appears to have more items (feathers at this stage) on the prize wheel and for collection, but requires you to collect fewer stars.
