MINI-MAP Campaign + New Dungeon (April 10th – April 19th)

@kerravon — So I am not crazy. Mine switched from one to the other about 7 hours in. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me but I never thought to mention it before. I assumed we were all seeing the same thing and obviously we were not.

I hope that further on the battles become harder, they are too easy now.
Especially compared to Arena fights.
We’ll see in a few hours once the first gate opens..

BTW, that Stone Guard class opens up some nice possibilities for Arena battles.

And I wonder how people are going to get this class after the event is over.
For 275 LC perhaps?

@kerravon Hahaha so typical rovio, they always find a way to make them look ridiculous.

So is the event leaderboard, also a mix of the two.
Not that i care because on mine only rewards is snoutlings (can get those quicker in SRC), although i’m curious what happens if you get the new class before event ending, when you will be needing mastery points for the new class. Is the wheel gonna change and should i keep playing for top three spot

@mvnla2, @burbman the second gate was open from the beginning, at least om my device.
I think its open because we will be playing that part in the weekend, people have more time to play, so 6 stages instead of three.
Add on: After opening first the second closed. So just three stages.

It occurred to me that since we are collecting items that are listed as: “a resource for forging …..” we will simply get a recipe to tell us how to make the stone helmet. I could be completely wrong of course.

Where is the new dungeon – Golden Pig is it? I do not see it.

it’s quiet easy, playing the levels. But I just had a very frustrated experience.
I was nr 2 on my board with 790 points. I played a level and when I looked again, my nr 3 had jumped from 705 tot 2012 points and my nr 1 from 1205 to 2500?!? In just one minute or so it took for me to do the 3 wave level.

That’s 2x a 750 points reward, that’s not so strange if they are lucky and 2x faster than you :)
Complete your feathers fast and gain some points too.

Uhh, my wheel does not have that amount on it. The best I could do was not even half of that.
Edit: I mean that in order to get these amount of points I would have to play the high level like 10 times with the most points on the wheel. I my wheel different?

Your wheel will have 225 and 750 on it (for the 5 wave level) once you get all 20 feathers.

@mathilde1981 if you dont have all your feathers yet then your wheel is different. Once you have all the feathers the reward points on the wheel will increase.

@renitz — I think my leader board stayed the same although I didn’t have it memorized. I was quite enjoying it the way it was at first. I would not have cared so much if they had upped the requirements and left the battles alone. Now my birds hit like a ten ton hammer leaving nothing but crushed pigs in their wake. Just more boring mindless repetition until time runs out. If someone know where the difficulty setting is on this thing let me know. I would like to turn it back up.

@tigerussell I understand what you mean by the battles losing their teeth.

My level 41 game has now switched to the version where you need to collect the 20 feathers (game 2 from my previous post). All of the battles are dead easy now. Before the large brute had a health of about 9,000 and hit for 2,000 damage. The smaller brute had a health of 6,000 and hit for about 1,800 damage. Now the health of these pigs has pretty much halved. And it is similar for the other pig types.

It was a challenge playing the earlier version. With the earlier version I did only 2-star the hard battle first time round. But now I don’t even need the chilli. I hope it will at least build back up to this level of difficulty as we advance around the map.

@KerrAvon — Very interesting. I didn’t start right away, and always have had the later version. I was wondering why people were saying the battles seemed to be challenging.

@renitz — Interesting thought that the wheel might change when we get the Stone Guard. I was still in 3rd last time I looked and feeling guilty about the possibility of claiming mastery points I don’t need. On the other hand, I do have enough snoutlings to upgrade the Stone Guard in the Dojo in one go.
@someone — There are lots of treasure chests in the GP Dungeon, so it is probably possible to get a lot of LC there.

Didn’t you used to be able to buy stamina drinks with friendship essence instead of LC?
Will have to check 3rd gate again. Was still closed when 1st initially opened.

3rd gate opened once the third battle in the second round was won. I assume it will close once the second gate opens tomorrow. I wonder what the purpose of it is.

Seems like I was transferred into the more difficult version of the event as I had a much harder time to finish the levels behind the gate than I had with the first 3 levels.

@tigerussell Yeah so far its not very hard, for the players who are max out, i didn’t notice the harder to easier change, problay to do with starting different timezone.
Would loved more stronger piggies, but also think rovio has to find some middle ground on that to give to other players an equal chance to play.

@mvnla2 Me too, i don’t need more snoutlings. But because i want the new class i’m still in top three because of collecting the items. I hope the lower lvl players don’t give up and i eventually will drop out of top three. Have enough snoutlings to go to mastery lvl 10 via Dojo in one go.

Yeah, my 3rd gate opened when I won all 3 levels. I also now have 18 stars, so not sure if it is levels or stars.
I wonder if it is a bug, and it should be the second gate? I mean, what’s the point of opening a gate you can’t get to? I also have 20 feathers, so it’s doesn’t seem to depend on the number of feathers.

Normally the health of the opponents depends on the level of the player. I haven’t been keeping track for this event, but would be interesting to know.
If someone at a level lower than 41 with birds less than rank 10 records the health and attack power of the opponents on each wave of each level, we can compare. I’m willing to do the same if there is something to compare to.
In previous events the number and type of opponents changed each time you played a particular level. Haven’t noticed that they do for this one, but again haven’t been keeping track.

now the top left gate has the countdown but the top right is opened, i think it’s just a visual bug

@mvnla2 The softwarebudget for this event had only enough money to show four chained gates, lol, so they had switch them after opening the first gate.
