In version 1.2.6, I can’t level up anymore. It says to that level 27 is the max level although it is 41.

Update: I played Floating Hoghouse Dungeon, and when I killed the first enemy, I instantly leveled up to level 28.

I tried all of this… using very strong internet connection, nothing else but angry birds epic running… Maybe the friend list is too long and this causes a problem? Well, Rovio should definitely solve it…
Anyway, no chance to borrow a friend’s bird… :-(

Hi, so i did the update v1.2.6 yesterday and can no longer log in. Failed at mid-point of “loading levels”. i never had a problem with my samsung galaxy 4 before, this the game always runs pretty smooth so is the update. i really dont know what to do and i’m losing points in my rankin arena pvp please help

I was fighting in an arena battle today Red used his rage ability, then immediately following with Chuck using his rage. Needless to say, it wiped me out. There’s no way 2 birds should be able to rage back to back!

After the latest update another bug popped up for me. In the Chronicle Caves after attacking a pig, the pig immediately counters back to the bird attacking it even though that pig doesn’t have a counter attack ability (nor do any of the other pigs in that battle). This has happened a couple of times now.

Also as an update to an earlier bug, my birds were not reviving in the arena battles after the updates in Feb. This latest update has at least fixed that bug!

I seem to not be able to load past the “Loading Levels” screen. I’m using my HTC One M7. Any way to fix this?

Hello, first i have to say sorry for bad english i´m Chris from germany and school is long ago:

I realized the same problem what 2greeneyes said 3 posts before.

– Some pigs attack back randomly even they are not in counterattack-mode or something.
Lost some fights due to this. I can´t see a straight way there, sometimes it happens, often not.

– Another thing is: I was level 18 and when i leveled up to 19 my lvl19 bar was almost filled, just 92 xp missed to lvl20 then… well… ok i can live with it hehe…

– What i didn´t saw in the last threads is: There are always swords in the upper left corner when you don´t play half an hour or something so you have double-xp then in the next fight(s). Since last update they are gone, i get no double-xp-swords anymore.

Just wanted to write it so maybe the game-devs see it and can fix something soon… especially the counterstrike-bug is very ugly!

I thought it was because I am already max level but if it does not work for lower leveled players then it is a big issue.

In my case, the app is unfunctional after the update. It just goes to the normal loading screen, saying “Checking Extension File” or something like that, and then force closes all by itself. I have sent a feedback report (after a “Unfortunately, [app’s name] has closed.” message) from my device. Loading screens are so annoying. It’s just one faulty thing that bars access to the whole game. Jailbreak, anyone? XP
EDIT: Forgot to mention this, but I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, on Ice Cream Sandwich OS, and in the notifications, there was an ‘ongoing’ notif saying:

Interesting bug in the arena. I was fighting an opponent and Rogues applied a cupcake trap to my bird. It looked like I would have to abort the battle since it had the “no” symbol over my opponents birds and banner, but I was able to attack it anyway. I won right after that, so I don’t know what would happen after that. Not a bad one since it is actually beneficial.

What i saw but forgot to say is:

When a pig DID such a strange counterattack even if the pig is not in a counterattack-mode, the pigs lifebar is shining red like and not like the other lifebars normal red…

@londojowo That is weird. It seems like the people having problems (or at least those that have mentioned what device they are playing on) all use a HTC device, usually One M8 or One M7.

Do you have another device you can try Epic on and see if it works on that?

I wonder if Rovio broke compatibility with the Qualcomm Snapdragon architecture (customized ARM). Back in December they broke compatibility with Intel-based chipsets, but they got that fixed (at least in Epic — Space is still broken).

I would have thought that anything ARM (even if Qualcomm customizes it for Snapdragon) would remain compatible, but Rovio seems to be having some platform troubles for anything that isn’t ARM bog-standard.

Can anyone run Epic on HTC M8/M7? If not even one person can, this is a platform issue, and everyone should submit a support request and tell Rovio they broke a specific chipset family again…gah.

@angryjohnny i have that “loading levels” problem in my SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 GT-I9500 and yestarday I contact the Rovio suport team and they said they are aware of this bug and are working to resolve it as soon as possible with the next update. But what will happen to these days that we lost unable to enter the game? if you only play arena pvp like me there is no possibility to compete with others that already have taken advantage and assuming that the next update happen ” ASAP ” or before the end of the league, is a shame that we lost for a bug but even with this “problem” for my Epic is the best of the angry saga.
