And another cheater showed up that gained more than 100,000 points in less than an hour.

I give up, I can’t do this anymore.

@roviobeni I beg of you. We hard playing earnest people doesn’t deserve the punishment of of seeing these people getting away with what they do. Prevention tactics doesn’t work, you have to take action and punish them. Make us players feel like you are actually doing something. Please!

Since the start of the event, I am at #8 and I will be stuck there. Anyways, the first one in my board doesn’t seem like a cheater but he does have 37K points.

I got 30 players on my board but bottom 7 is dead at 0 points.

I’m still in first spot with 54K while 2nd is at 38K. Golden castle has been reached and now is taking my time gathering up the cakes for the elite helmet since we got 3 days to go.

@angryjohnny I saw the cheaters too. I did send in a ticket but we’ll see if anything comes of it. So annoying when this happens.

@atom Yeah I saw we were on the same leader board. I sent in a ticket too but I know from experience that Rovio will not do anything. When we get a response the event will be long over and all we will get is an apology mail where they state how sorry they are and they do everything to prevent cheaters, when in reality the thing we want the most is punishment for the cheaters instead of preventions (that never works anyway).

23 players on my board, struggling to reach third place. I am not willing to burn FE or LC´s to catch up. Luckily no cheaters yet! Still six cakes short of Elite Pirate but I will get it. As previously I managed the Golden Clouds easily with Elite Paladin and Wizard (both 60/12 with Dragon Set and TL). I normally need 1-2 to chili cakes in the last stage to beat the Mother of Golden Pigs. I always feed the rage chili to Chuck. The pig will attack, so protect with Red. I only need other potions if the game gets “unfair” meaning that the pigs will stun Red really often so he cannot attack and heal a bird.

Hey guys. Haven’t been on the forum for a couple days so I’m trying to catch up. I read there were issues with the event? Resetting or some such? I didn’t notice anything but I did see I received like 75 stamina drinks in my mail for “recent event problems” or something. Is that what those were for?

Looks like I have 29 people on my board, no obvious cheaters though. I’m sad in 15th place with a little over 17000 points so looks like I won’t be getting a spin on the reward wheel. =( Oh well. At least I got elite pirate. Pirate’s always been one of my favorites.

You can’t appear on a board unless you have at least 1 point… Maybe they got reset and quit the game afterwards, though? I dunno.

Exactly how you said it. There’s been resetting issues which took away all progress in the event (except for the collected ingredients). Everyone on Android devices got 75 stamina drinks to make up (and possibly catch up).

@smwforever45 The resetting issue was random as it didn’t happen to me.

Honestly, other than the Elite offer not popping up because of Mastery, I encountered no other bugs in this update even though it had numerous bugs and glitches.

Came off rather well, too. I had my league reset to Wood once, and my game once went crazy where it suddenly went somewhat smooth (back to normal now).

EDIT: Just reached 40k event points, still at #3, 7k behind #2 and 5k before #4. I seem safe…

I also saw that the person who was still at #3 yesterday is currently at #9. Poor him/her will lose all faith when he/she logs back on. Probably thought his/her position was secure. :(

I think I’ve gotten away with being in fairly good shape after this update as well. I was hit with the “Must restart to stay Epic” glitch early on and was dropped from Silver to Wood, but that was before the event started and I did at least manage to advance back to Stone after that. The event’s crashed on me tons of times, but I’ve managed to stay in the top 2 thanks to dipping into my massive hoard of FEs, and after learning about the Facebook thing I’ve been able to cut down on the crashes significantly.

I have still been logging back in to Facebook for the GPC, and haven’t yet had an issue with crashes on that encounter. That said, I’ll definitely consider the two-bird options described above for the rest of the event.

GCC with 2 birds: I played Elite Paladin (Dragon set) + Wizard (Mana Shell set). I have won the battle with full health without use of any potion or cake or anything. I used Paladin Devotion before attack of Mother of Golden Pigs (MGP) and that is all u need to make it :)

This is a torture. Bugs in this update are so strange!

This is my experience with the update:

THE GOODS

– I didn’t have any issue regarding arena and event resets. I still got the 75 stamina and 30 LC

– Doors opened early for me so I got elite pirate yesterday and I’ve been doing GPC for 3 days (no problem with using friend’s birds)

THE BADS

– Game crashes around 4 minutes into the app. My solution: open the game, play the level to get points and close the app. Repeat if I have more stamina. This has worked very well except for three isolated cases (luckily, no GPC)

– Yesterday I felt I was taking ages to reach level 55. I was right: seems like every time the game crashes, my XP points reset. I was 1,000 XP away from lvl 55. Now I’ve been stuck three days 3,799 XP away from that level. The bug doesn’t affect the mastery points I receive or buy. Just XP. So I’m experimenting with logging out and in with the rovio account and see if that helps to keep the XP I earn. I’ll post the results in case someone experiments the same issue.

Rovio needs to do something. This is just ridiculous and it’s stressing to play a game fearing it will crash anytime and you’ll lose everything your worked for.

I think I just found a way to exploit the crashes:

At the GPC, get to the Golden Pig boss and beat her for the LCs. On the wheel screen, just wait there until the game crashes. Upon relog, you will still have the 11 LCs you got but the GPC can be played again.

@partshade are you doing this with FB friends or is it just crashing. I am having no issues disconnected to FB, but doubt I could make it to the end of GPC connected, given the crashes.

I can hardly get to the end before the crash as well. But I did manage by using Chili Cakes on Wizard to speed things up.

@partshade It has been confirmed by Rovio that the crashing in the latest version of Epic is because of the Facebook integration. If you are logged into Facebook it will crash, if you are not it is stable. This is on Android at least.

Off topic but Rovio has massively reduced the amount of EXP obtained from that arena level of the event. Wow…
