About the Angry Birds 2 Arena

Midwest. I am still out. If Rovio responds to your help ticket and tells you they will notify you when it fixed don’t believe it. Last time I found out it was fixed about 4 days after when my friend tried to log on and went right in. We were both waiting for notification. Neither of us know how long it was fixed before she tried it.

Sixteen hours and still nothing. Anyone remember the Easter fiasco? How long did that last. With no arena access some of us have only the DC left to play, having long since burned through the 20 new levels released last week.

Separate servers, paths, networks or whatever for arena? Should make troubleshooting a whole lot easier one would think.

Rovio is so clueless,I just got an email telling me not to forget to play the AB2 Arena. Hey stupid I have been trying to play the arena for over 16 hours.Time to play pokemon go.

Judging by all the posts awaiting moderation, I’d say this issue is pretty widespread. Of course, that would mean a Mod would actually have to check in for their voices to be heard.

@klm13 I hope I have misconstrued your comment regarding a Mod actually checking in, but the @admins on ABN do yeoman’s service to keep this site going and can’t be expected to ramp up because of another Rovio fiasco. Rovio has shown contempt for its players and (in my opinion) ABN as it leaves the volunteers who simply love the game and admin this site to have to deal with mounting displeasure for AB2, while systematically taking over or making irrelevant the elements of the game (walk through videos, leaderboards, sharing strats) which made this site once indispensable. This forum has become a place for players to complain and (although seemingly no longer) a place for Rovio to respond. This is not what ABN should be about.

Rovio has ruined AB2 and had an extremely negative impact on The Nest – ABN, not the Arena for which Rovio stole the name.

Something tells me that we won’t be getting back into the arena until some time tomorrow. Today is Sunday and there is probably not even anybody there working today. On a possible up side, maybe the cheaters will be discouraged and what will be left of the week might be good for everybody else.

Kelshe, that is all I have as well, and today’s DC was pretty darned easy. Finished on second try. Knew which bird to save to kill the boss pig. David Martin figured out the trick, save bomb and hit the corner of that thing the boss pig is in. Level cleared.

He is practicing witchcraft, bringing the dead back to life, creating monsters. I bet he even owns a black cat (well, so do I, but he isn’t helping, probably still mad at me for taking him to the vet on Friday).

Um, wait, I am sorry I took my cat to the vet on Friday. He has put a curse on the game. Ok, now put down those torches and pitchforks. Please don’t hurt me. I have apologized to him so maybe he will lift the curse? I am bolting the doors and climbing the highest tower. ;)

LOL! You’re probably not far from the truth, considering Rovio has fired half their staff, they probably have one guy left to manage the servers, and he’s taking holidays for the week because he will lose them if he doesn’t, and the red server light is blinking but nobody will ever see it….

If Rovio were really smart and knew how to conduct good business, tomorrow afternoon when the servers are back up, they should just grant everyone 300 gems and 300 black pearls since it doesn’t cost them anything anyway, along with a message saying “we’re sorry, vigilant players for another huge FU on our end… but as a token of good faith please accept this gift and enjoy your next week of playing AB2”.

But they won’t.

I have a bunch of screenshots showing two of the same bird in an opponent’s starting three. That includes some with the same bird in the first (leftmost) and second positions. Could someone evaluate this possibility: If the opponent has flung 11 birds when he played the game, those 11 birds are displayed to us in random order and not in the order in which he flung them.

@admins let me reiterate the opinions of @abeggartoo This situation is no reflection on this wonderful site. I am still an enthusiastic nester. I consistently come back to the walk throughs and suggestions and for the general camaraderie of the nest and Bloated Pig. I can’t get into the arena either, but it is, after all, a game. One I not only didn’t pay for but one in which I have also not invested a penny.

Thanks for being here. Thanks for news updates. Thanks for tips and videos and forums (which are NOT complaint departments). Thanks for listening. Thanks for passing our feedback on to Rovio, regardless of their response or lack thereof.

I can’t believe that yesterday was the day I tried my experiment of watching the countdown to the week change because it let me in (mentioned last night in another post.) In Massachusetts, USA btw. I’ve been wondering why no one else in my tournament had ZERO stars. Had I not WASTED my surplus of tickets (about 40) trying not to get demoted I could really make this work to get promoted again. My guess – when they fix it everyone goes back to ZERO. Because that’s how luck works for me. It doesn’t.
And to reiterate what others have said – MUCH LOVE to The Nest and everyone who works hard to keep it going. Rovio has recently sucked 99% of my enjoyment out of ALL versions because of the frustrations with the Arena. But that’s on Rovio. I will always be a fan of ABN!!!
