I play on an Ellipsis 8 tablet (Android) and had frequent crashes. I did three things and the problem seems to have been corrected.
1. I canceled all automatic updates of apps on my device at the Play Store.
2. I deleted most non-essential apps.

This could be how people who spend a $lot$ can level up birds. Whenever I have 80 or more gems saved and click on the Premium Rewards, I get charged 80 gems and get a reward of 100 (or, infrequently, 150) feathers. Also, their birds will level up but their player rankings (stars) can stay low.

In the last two days, in the Arena, I have logged in approximately 10 times to get my 2 free Arena entries. After playing the 1st free entry, I have seen that “Watch a Video for Another Free Entry” only twice in 10 logins. I did see it today (Mar. 3) in one of two logins.
