Going on 12 hours and still cannot enter the Arena due to the misleading internet connection message. I have a good internet connect. Suggestion to change the message to “server down or being maintained”.

Wowza. 12 hours and counting and still only silence on the part of Rovio. I sure hope NO ONE is able to access the Arena so there is at least a modicum of fairness…

I wouldn’t count on that, here of late when I get this after the tournament ends and I finally can get in hours later most of my bracket has 50 or more stars each

Still locked out too, arena finished here in UK nearly 13 hours ago – not that I have any gems or pearls to claim, as treat the Arena with the contempt it deserves, play for ‘fun’ rather than to win these days.

I’m still locked out. I submitted a help ticket,but that takes up to two weeks to even get a human to answer.

There is a problem with Rovio’s server. I just hope it’s not like last time when some of us couldn’t get in and others could. That time was almost the the straw that broke the camels back! I came very close to deleting all of Rovio’s products.

Stll locked out in US (East Coast). Always had trouble re-entering the Arena upon conclusion of a tournament but things usually cleared up later in the evening and always by Sunday morning. This delay is unprecedented. I can live with it but I wish Rovio would acknowledge the true cause instead of automatically generating the “Check Your Internet Connection” screen when the fault lies elsewhere. Rovio, your customers deserve better treatment.

In all the time I’ve been playing I’ve never seen it take this long to get back in. This sucks! Of course this would happen when I’m in 1st place in my tournament!

I think I’m in first. I had a 40 point lead with about 15 minutes to go, so it’s possible I’m not. I had all morning to play, and of course couldn’t. now I’m going to be incommunicado for the next 8 or so hours, so it’s likely i will return this evening several hundred points behind.

I’ve been in since seconds after the 8 pm rollover last night. I watched the tourney end, got my 300 pearls, and played my first match within a minute. I have 310 stars now. Second place has zero.

@adbjester: That is incredibly frustrating to hear. I was in the Arena, watched the tourney end, did NOT get my pearls/gems, but instead was thrown back out the map. And like so many others, here I sit. Argh!

If the game were completely free, I would not complain. But it sure as hell is not and is costing more each update since they have rigged it so you get nada from Arena without spending on all day playing and/or lots of bucks on extras.

So for this to happen every week, for months through myriad program updates is ridiculous. Just block out the time Rovio. Tell us we will be locked out and start the new week on Sunday afternoon or even Monday.

The bulk of us will be behind hundreds of stars that we will not get past this week. You are setting us up to fail from the get go.
