Edit: I see we have yet another thread a awaiting moderation about an arena tournament bug. What’s the bet it is the same bug we are talking about regarding access, and no different to the 2 or 3 other threads about the exact same thing. I wonder if people actually read existing posts/threads, before creating a new thread.

In relation to hank I have almost given up. According to his profile he hasn’t been on these boards in almost 2 weeks! …..that really bugs me as I would like an answer to the points @cosmo2503 and I raised on page 64, regarding the demotion to 1 point on *some* peoples arena, yet not on others. Additionally any info re the demotion to 1 point at all, as I know for a fact I am no cheater, and that is what I associated it to until cosmo pointed out I was demoted on his device.

What it has made me do in the past week / week and a half is figure out a tonne of exploits (such as the spell exploit mentioned a few pages back) and take full advantage of them until we start to get some decent answers to many of our concerns.

I am still unable to get into the arena. I can play the board levels. It is now 9:51 pm here and still all I get is to see the arena but then it says unable to connect to the server. I think maybe Rovio needs to spend some of our money to upgrade their server!

Quite a few people abusing them on the AB2 FB page, so I don’t think it is just us. 3 hours and 10 mins so far, we definitely have a new record for the amount of time it is taking to get access.

3 hours, still can’t get in. 11:00 PM eastern time. Bedtime. When I get in tomorrow I’m sure that those who could get in will have a huge lead.

I tried something this week. I opened the Arena and watched the countdown of the last two minutes. About ten seconds after it hit zero I saw my finishing place, got the gems and immediately saw Free Entry. The problem is (imagine that; there’s a problem) my phone got a notification and closed out the game. It didn’t reset to “Paused” like normal. It pretended I’d never started. Then NO VIDEO for the second play. I spent one of my few remaining tickets and BARELY won a Round 2. Despite cycling through three full streaks with no problem today alone. Now, three hours later, I played my newest Free Entry. After I won – again, NO VIDEO FOR FREE ENTRY. I was demoted two previous weeks in a row despite many reporting that demotions weren’t happening. (Saw it once myself but had assumed I just read my ranking incorrectly at the time. I don’t think being down in Emerald is the reading for a decent win ratio today because my opponents have the same Star Rank – 57 and birds that are better than mine. Not hard to do with one 9, four 10s and two 11s (one earned today.)
So – to have access right after the week ends just watch the countdown to the switch. Just don’t expect to be able to play afterward.

Almost 10:30 here and still can’t get in to the arena!

We had a 5.7 earthquake in Oklahoma that I felt here in Kansas. It shook my 100 year old house for about a minute. I even heard the rumbling.

I’m sure there are some Cell Towers out of commission here in the Midwest. I wonder if that is affecting connectivity, but if I can play the map it make me think it’s on Rovio’s end.

@maiasatara: I watched the countdown as well and all it did was think about it for a bit and then throw me back out to the map. Never got the gems or the pearls and still haven’t been able to get back in.

Done that as explained multiple times, it made no difference!

You just happen to be in this weeks group of random ‘early access’ players (sort of like captsternn over the past few weeks) , the majority of us are still waiting to get access almost 4 hours later.

Now at 5+ hours and counting. Can’t get in on either my Android phone or my iPad. By the time I finally get in tomorrow, I’ll probably be 100 or so points behind.

Are they trying to give us another reason to give up on the Arena?

I watched the tournament end and got kicked out. Now over 6 hours later and I still can’t get back in. This is b.s. as it is now after midnight and I am going to bed. Only to wake up in 14th place 250 gems out of first. I have spent close to $300 u.s. in the last year and am tired of the constant failurestate in this game . If you can’t make it right in expect some payback.If I show AMEX the former letter you send out stating that you are aware of all the cheaters you have in the game but you are doing nothing about it I guarantee they will refund the whole $289.80 that I have spent on this fraud of a game.

Following the idea that the squeeking wheel gets the grease I would suggest that anyone that suffers three or more connection errors sfter the tournament closes open a support ticket with Rovio.

If Rovio has to deal with thousands of support tickets each week they might actually fix the problem.

Rovio normally take 1-2 weeks to reply to tickets when they don’t have a massive load, would hate to see how long they take if all of the sudden they get thousands of tickets all at once.

Oh, and we are now at 6 hours and 20 minutes of no access.

But how about actually fixing the issue, or stop using the cheapest 3rd party server company you can find.

9am UK time and I can’t get in to the Arena. Thing is I’m out all day today.

So tonight when I get back I presume I’ll be about 300 points behind the person in 10th place so all I’ll be doing this week is playing to avoid relegation.

I have a job so I can’t get 730 points every day.

So thanks Rovio for spoiling another week occasional playing.
