Ryan, thanks for the comment. Problem is, your first comment is just WAY too long to go here and we prefer that comments be used for discussion, strategies, questions, etc. . Also, this is the Angry Birds Free leaderboard. If you decide to enter your scores they should go on the original Angry Birds leaderboard.

Ok, I was about to flag mxpwr001 for having suspiciously high scores, but then on a whim I checked Gamecenter and, sure enough, the #1 position is mxpwr001 (scores are identical here and in Gamecenter).

To Mock and Mockingbird: I assume you are not on gamecenter, as the only person on gamecenter above 1,745,000 is mxpwroo1. Would you have any screenshots available for your six top scores here (IV-2, IV-3, VI-2, VI-3, VII-2, VII-3)?
Alternatively, if you create a gamecenter account, your total score could be verified that way…. Just a request.

Apparently there are different gamecenters for different devices, as I don’t
see mxpwr001′s (iphone) highscores in my (ipad) gamecenter either.
If you have an ipad at your disposal you can have a look at my scores (same nick;
my total score is a, little, bit higher there; have not updated all my scores here).
Anyway, you should be wary of highscores in (ipad) gamecenter too.
For instance, I’m incredulous at any score above, say, 310,000 for world 4
(levels IV-1,IV-2,IV-3) but cnldk’s ipad gamecenter score for it is 329,840…
I will be happy to send/post screenshots of any level (although
I do not think my scores for VII-2 and 3 are remarkably high).
Just let me know where/how.

Ah, I think you must be playing AB Free HD for the iPad (I had not realized that AB Free HD was even available). I know that gamecenter treats HD versions as completely different games than the SD versions, so that would explain your absence from my SD version gamecenter and mxp’s absence (and my absence) from your HD version gamecenter.
You don’t have to post screenshots — it was just a request to verify that you are a real player and not a hoaxer. Looks like anyone with the HD iPad version can verify your scores, and I think that’s good enough to prove that you are simply a really good player and not a fake score troll.

Top score for Level 1-1 (53,000) is not legit.
6-2 to 7-3 looks a little suspicious as well.
“To mock a mockingbird”‘s scores stand out on Game Center, they are completely legit.

this message is mainly to say that i’ve stopped playing this game (angry birds HD free on ipad 2)
therefore, i’ve (just) posted all the strategies i employed to get the high-scores i currently hold
on their respective walk-through pages (from memory, without playing again; hopefully the
descriptions are still accurate after these months). i leave it to other record holders to post
their strategies for the other levels.

thank you for the nice angry birds (nest) platform and the moderation.
to the other players:
it was fun competing against you, but most of all it was fun trying to solve the puzzles/riddles (*)
of the various levels. i think i’ve solved most of them (at least nearly so; i suspect the ones of level 2
not quite). hopefully my solutions can be of help to some of you. there’s always the danger/problem
of spoiling the fun of a puzzle by giving away its solution; but if you want to do it yourself you shouldn’t
be watching the walk-though pages anyway.
(*) i’m a logician; whence my nick, chosen after my favourite logic book;
the suggestion being of course that if you’re good at this game you could
maybe also have an interest in logic (or even just logic puzzles).

You’re welcome. I couldn’t resist the new levels (8-1,8-2,8-3) so played them. Somehow the bottom
one-third of the high-score list is aesthetically pleasing to me :-) (at the moment of writing; i don’t
expect my scores for level 8 to hold for a long time). anyway, that’s it for me again, so i posted my
strategies for these levels as well, so enjoy also these levels once you do get around to AB free.
Here are some point guidance for the new level 8
8-1 – 63020 yields two stars
8-2 – 100630 yields three stars
8-3 – 85220 yields three stars
Hope this helps. Will update if/when I get three stars on level 8-1.

Question-how do I get the new level 8? If I download an update, will I lose my scores in current version?
Your existing scores should reamin intact with the update, but if you are concerned, backup your apps prior to installing the update.
Suppose that your Game Center nickname is `to mock a mockingbird’ (which you like because
it connects logic to birds). Suppose moreover one day you find that your nickname has been
changed into `great peace’ (sic).
Wouldn’t you be anxious about your data (changing your nickname can only be done using your appleID and
password; the same one used for purchases). If you then would find out from itunesstore support,
being redirected there via AppleCare, that your data is safe but your nickname /was/ changed because it /was/ /either/
offensive /or/ inappropriate as reported by /several/ other people, and that upon asking they can tell you neither
what Apple thinks offensive or inappropriate about the nick nor who has changed it nor who reported this and why,
and that for changing it back one should contact AppleCare. Then upon contacting AppleCare they
would tell you that they can do nothing about that and you would be redirected to itunesstore support. Then
the latter, upon asking whether they can resolve the problem within Apple by communicating with other
departments, respond by saying: “we cannot communicate with other departments. we are only an e-mail queue;
please post suggestions for improving our process …”. Then, contacting AppleCare, they say we cannot help you
we are for technical support and this is not technical, we can put you through to customer relations, and the latter
only say they have filed the complaint under an AppleCare case nr, and we /will/ investigate this,
wouldn’t you be exasperated?? wouldn’t you change your nickname into `protest to Apple changing nick’?
I think it is very bad that Apple is forcing you to use cloud-like-services and then argues that because of
that they are responsible for (own?) your data, and then start policing and changing it (yes, your data) in opaque ways,
opening the doors to harrassment among other things. The whole idea of Apple forming its own `state’
in this way is not a good one.
(My simple theory is that being high on the leaderboards of some game in Game Center increases the chance of
people reporting your behaviour/nick as being inappropriate. The same happened to a co-worker.
Why there’s no mechanism in Apple to check these reports etc. is beyond me.)
I’m happy to report that Apple has given me my Game Center nickname (to mock a mockingbird) back. In the end their customer relations succeeded in achieving this through, as I understood, a series of escalations (to managers of managers of …). Still all this took more than 20 e-mails from me, and a similar number of phone calls. It’s much like angry birds, first try to find the right spot to aim at (not itunes support, not apple care, but customer relations), then be patient and keep on flinging (this one took 2,5 months of effort, way more time than anything spent on angry birds ever). No explanations,
but they will evaluate this internally…
Updated my score for level VIII-2 score for the occasion; as stated that score was not very high. It’s a bit better now, but still not very high (neither are the other level VIII high scores, but no effort from me in the foreseeable future).

All four of this users scores are the same as their first four levels in Poached Eggs. Looks like they probably are using the free Android version and got confused as to where to enter them.
Quite right. Matches their ABo scores so I just removed these.
I hope there are more levels coming for free. I enjoy them, when they’re different from the levels in the regular game.
A Warning to all Players, I just downloaded Angry Birds Free and my Norton AV Program flagged it as Unsafe and immediately deleted the Download, so be careful if your AV doesn’t catch it.
For PC? There is no such app to my knowledge.
