@pistolpete @grammy k.  We finally won with over 40 playing (first time ever).  However, the other Clan had many more non players.  I’ll see how the next battle goes. What are the rewards at your level?  How long is your streak?

@pistolpete and @GrammyK, I still feel some loyalty to the Clan even though we have had a run of 7 losses.  The last one we lost by about 3 points.  The Clan has lost some of its strongest players.

I am still thinking about it, that’s why I wanted to  check clans.

How can you access a list of clans?

My clan kicks non players, clan fills up, most of the new players don’t play. The process starts again.

I thought all clan members get rewards otherwise why would people join and not play?  There is only one reward for joining a clan.

Where are the voting sections?  It’s just stream of consciousness ramblings.  Not an improvement.   I’m ZeZe there.

Got into AB2 finally and it’s just a series of random comments.

I made my role choices and read the rules.  I try to access AB2 but can’t.  I’m not impressed.

Having been affected by non players, I  think a rule change to prevent non players winning rewards would mean clans would have a much higher percentage of players.

I tried the Discord. It took numerous attempts to get in.  Once I did, it looked like a string of unconnected comments.  What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to get Chuck and Silver to 6 at the moment, then I will think tactics.

Terrace has a legendary hat (my only one).  Blue and Red have several level 6 hats.

My other ploy is to try to raise up my extra birds as they are about 10 behind.

We lost badly again.  It was a real mismatch.  About 10 non players but doubt it would make a difference.  The non players were kicked but we soon filled up again.  We’re diamond league but losing hope.

@grammy K, I tried to describe that computer to someone.  The best I could do was ‘a sewing machine with a keyboard base’.  It was just about luggable.

Let me know how you get on with the game.  I never got the balance of the workers v successfully growing the village.

Another game I enjoyed was Cave Story although I gave up at the final boss.

I had that machine.  It was a very desirable piece of kit.

I played bricks on it when the boss wasn’t around.

@grammyk. If you have a PC, the game is around.  Add ‘text based’ into your search.  Beware burning villages (the fate of every village I had).  It’s open source and free.

I read your clan is on ios.  Does that mean all members have to be on ios?

I was a dBase III programmer in the ’80’s then had to move to applications software training when the amount of work increased.  I started with Commodore text based games on devices that plugged into the back of the console.  I typed in code from books that created games.  My son worked his way through Spectrums, BBCs, Atari, Commodore, Amiga, Nintendo, Playstation etc etc. When games came to the PC, we spent hours on LucasArts games.  He still plays on the Switch and the PlayStation.  I play on a Samsung tablet and have recently bought a Switch (I’m looking for games now).  I tried ‘In a Dark Place’ a while back but did very badly.
