@psquare53Flock Favorites 29-26 at least for me is well nigh impossible for achieving even an average score upon. Two days and I couldn’t get within 1K of my previous high score. Although the comments reinforce the difficulty of the level, it seems that this level has perhaps gotten even harder. The first shot is an R&R (Rinse & Repeat) special, getting the upper left tower to collapse AND releasing the boulders on the right, AND collapsing the rightmost structure, killing both pigs AND penetrating the bottom deck AND setting off the TNT. And even if all that gets done, you can’t have the little wood piece OR small stone jam against the wheel of the cart. Then the second shot depends on a not-frequent severing of cord holding the cart. You need two awfully lucky birds here, not just one.

@psquare53I’m also stuck on Pig Days 4-3 trying to get a striped fish. The only place I can see the fish is on the extreme left side, on the seafloor. It peeks up, then ducks back into the seafloor. The only way I can think of to get him is to use the first YB to knock off the top of the palm tree to the left of the slingshot, then use the OB on a tiny leftward hop to sink into the sea and then inflate. But I can’t get OB near enough to the fish.
There is also the icicle on Pig Days 5-2 that is inside the clock thing. I’ve never been able to get inside the clock, and pounding away on the outside of the clock doesn’t seem to do anything to the icicle on the inside.
Someone said that if you find the same item elsewhere (in another level) you can get it there, but that doesn’t seem to work for me either.

@psquare53I started Pig Days about a month ago, level 1-13 (Coffee Day) gave me fits! I read about the “sweet spot” in the comments, and spent hours pounding that horizontal beam, it never exploded, I hit it from all angles. Eventually it was time to move on.
I’m on an iPhone 6, maybe the “sweet spot” didn’t make the cut on this platform.

@psquare53I’ve been working my way through Seasons, catching up on the last three years(!) and ME. I’m into Pig Days now. For each level I develop my 3-star strat, then I check the ABN comments and 50% of the time I’m around 10K short of average, so I refine my strat until I (usually) get above average. Some levels just don’t respond as the original commenters state. This has been rather consistent since I started catching up, over the past six months.
I remember a commenter mention what he called the Diminished Damage effect, when you notice the same hits don’t produce the same amount of damage after a while. His comment was quickly dismissed, but I’ve noticed this since World 1. For some reason, the most damage seems to come during your first 5-10 resets on a level. Then I noticed that trajectories of birds shot exactly the same way (as near as I could tell) would consistently travel long or short of targets. This would last for 5-10 resets, then it would change again. I started referring to these aberrations as “bad physics”. Usually I try to adjust and get through the “bad physics” time or just quit and restart the game. Then the birds are traveling correctly, and you have a bunch of resets where your strat works.
I don’t have proof of this effect, only my own anecdotal observations, and I’ve always used iPhones, so there may be some pixel resolution issues, but I would swear that AB physics changes just a little every 5-10 resets.
Basically, I’ve found that the hard levels are just that – really hard. Some of the ME levels are practically impossible, although so far I have 3S and ME in every AB and ABS level (15 left in Pig Days to become current). The ONLY level which I found really easy with much higher scores than average is Pig Days 3-3 (Chinese New Year), which was released in February, so that’s not very long ago. My top score is 192960, I stopped playing it after reading about the glitch, I didn’t want to lose my high score like Ham Dunk 4-13. -
