If you are on iOS and don’t see the event, go to the App Store and search Angry Birds Transformers. Select the app listing and there should be an Update button. You may not see the Update option until you open the page. It’s version 2.29.0.

So I finally overpowered a TF from VIP. So Alpha Trion is only +1% at L16. What confuses me though is the level 17 text that says +/-2%… Why plus or minus?

Levelled up Trypticon to L20. Had just enough with tokens from F2P war rewards. As an unrelated bonus, I (finally!) also got Menasor from a free gold crate this morning.

Next time I’ll probably snag Acid Storm.

I’m planning to unlock Novastorm also, but Ionstorm is best for this squad.
Although, if you don’t have Warpath, I would go for him first, since he’s also in the Token Exchange.

For Pure Warriors, Energon Lockdown is best, followed by Ironhide IMO, then Lockdown. Brawl is worst.
For Rescue Bots, Ratchet is best, followed by Optimus.
Energon Lockdown would be my top choice out of these.
Both Lockdowns and Optimus all need Explosive Rounds accessories to be much more effective.

No idea the official names of the areas. I just call that one the farm.
I only got the golden bales once during all of day 5, but still made a decent coin haul.
Plus got my Energon Nautica to level 20 that day too:

@galaxes Energon Nautica is good, so she is worth overpowering.

Plus your goal should be to have 2-3 promoted on each squad so you’re ready for potential 2 bot events in future and the Spark Run that week. Energon Megatron is decent. I don’t have Energon Windblade yet but she has a good rating too.

He’s not worth 2k gems! Buy him with event tokens.

There’s no one right way to play. You do you!

With that said, you don’t always unlock a new TF from 10 gold crates. It will happen less and less.
Every event repeats. Your end goal should be to have at least one (if not two) TFs unlocked and promoted for each squad. Two gives you great promotions for a 2 bot event.

For a squad like this, you’ll use your top two promoted with an SR killer like Dirge leading in your Spark Run for the week.

@galaxes Nemesis Hot Rod is worth having and kind of fun.
Barricade is just mediocre but at least his weapon has a natural EMP effect.

I’m still doing ok, and without that much playing. My Nemesis Hot Rod is +200% promoted now. I finished day 5 at 9100 tokens, so I’ll easily get the 10k I need to overpower NHR again.

If still rather use NHR than Scorponok. (Also, I don’t have Scorponok LoL) If a group of blocks is almost all dark, I don’t shoot it. If it’s half dark or less, I shoot it. Sometimes the dark blocks just end up on the ground unexploded anyway because they’re harder.

@drypen64 you posted in a 2-year-old thread on a previous event. Here’s the current one.

As per post #1, light grey blocks give you +1 point and dark grey blocks are -1 point. If you use Nemesis Hot Rod, it looks like you’re losing points at the end of the run because he sends the dark blocks flying so far that they don’t hit ground again for several seconds.

There’s a time range for each mission type. For longest hard missions (48 hours instead of usual 24) you will need overpowered TFs to not watch a video.
