legnets123@legnets123@poptimus. I’m on an iPad (Air2) OS 8.3
Sadly, I did’t have this bug.
legnets123@legnets123I have all three on 12-hr missions with just under 2-hrs remaining. I sure hope I have the same ‘bug’. :D
legnets123@legnets123It really is liberating not watching videos. We took a long vacation recently and couldn’t connect to the Internet. While I couldn’t play the videos, I could do a lot more runs on Jenga especially. It was probably a wash point-wise, but I enjoyed the game much more not being bogged down by videos.
legnets123@legnets123I have that problem on my Android phone and my other FB name. On my iPad I use a different FB account and I’m connected there.
legnets123@legnets123I play on my iPad and on my Android phone. On my phone I constantly get 2*, while on the iPad I regularly get 3*.
I’m thinking it depends upon the OS.
legnets123@legnets123I also was luckier. The app started with Grimlock completing his upgrade. That was good news. Everything appeared normal. Then I played an event with Grimlock. He worked fine – BUT I couldn’t bring in the other character to assist, nor could I transform Grimlock to avoid the incoming mortars. I went to play a second event – black screen.
I play on three different platforms, three different devices, downloaded from three different ‘stores’. All three ABT have problems. What they all have in common is Rovio. I don’t expect them to own up to the problem. :(
legnets123@legnets123I recently started playing on my Kindle Fire after the problems on my iPad and Droid phone (won’t even open now on the phone). This morning I’m having the same problem as you on the Kindle too. I get a brief flash of Piggy Island – then the app crashes.
I filed a ticket with Rovio when the phone app started crashing – frequently. Their “resolution” was that the problem was because of my new, “high end” (their words) phone. Well, my iPad2 and Kindle Fire are neither new nor “high end”. Right now Rovio is zero for three with AB Transformers.
At least I learned my lesson and didn’t buy Jenga for the Kindle. I could only use it for less than a week on my phone due to the crashing. On the iPad that is about all I can play now – and it’s getting boring.
I sure hope Rovio gets their act together with this app. I do enjoy playing it – when it works properly.
legnets123@legnets123I’ve been having major problems with the phone app crashing. I was SO excited to see the update this morning. I downloaded it – now I can’t even open the app. At least before I was able to collect coins (took several tries each time because of the crashing) even if I couldn’t actually play.
Beware!
legnets123@legnets123I’m doing better now that I’m forcing the app to close when I don’t get the coins. It did take me a while to learn that forcing app closing is different on ios8 than it was on ios7.
legnets123@legnets123Yes, that is what I’ve been experiencing for some time now. Not only do I not get the coins I’ve earned (some times over 4,000) from the run, but I have to pay to repair the damage I sustained. I’ve contacted Rovio. Haven’t heard anything yet.
legnets123@legnets123This has been happening to me for at least a week. I play on a iPad2, ios is the current version. I’m level 140-something. Between having to pay coins to repair damage received while playing an event where I didn’t receive the coins and the actual coins themselves, I would guess I’m short well over 200,000 coins. If I’d been keeping track, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was closer to 500,000. Since the cost to do any Transformer upgrades is at least 80,000 for me, I could really use to coins I’ve earned but not received.
