A few last wishlist items I wouldn’t mind seeing:

The ability to give auto-attack priority options for the birds. Example: Heal bird with lowest health, attack enemy with highest/lowest health, use rage chili only on selected (bird), use rage chili on birds to only attack or only heal.

Daily or weekly or monthly deals on the gold/ExpPotion/MightyEagleDish. Just like the potions, but of course the deal wouldn’t be as good. I know other games do this.

The ability to create Flotsam from other resources – like wood or squarewood.

The ability to create all at once as many potions as you want instead of constantly clicking. So if you have 400 greater vials, 400 magic water, and 500 cherries, you could let the game make 100 Pig Cherry juice potions by clicking once.

– That last one alone would have saved me so much time for the earlier parts of the game for me.

– A special gold shop to buy gold-only blueprints. They could be items that are just under legendary items in terms of specs, or better depending on how rovio wants to go.

Give me more mighty eagle quotes for the loading screens :)

– The ability to buy the game or pay some kind of fee to get rid of all the ads.

– There’s poison, ice prison, fire, healing, and Deadly grip caves. A timed cave would be an interesting addition.

– Future cave could possibly be a mashup of the other caves abilities. For example you could get attacked by anything from the poison to the ice prison (random).

– Make the information on screen more uniform – like being able to see your gold/silver/friendship essence on all the screens the same way.

– Ability to lock the equipment you are using so you cannot sell it, and it cannot be changed until you unlock and change it.

Wow – this is a wishlist. No need to beat down everything i put. Of course the finer details would have to be ironed out, nothing is perfect.

1) No kidding it takes time. They can make it go faster. I have a fast connection and as such it should therefore be quick as well.

– This bring me to another point, my free daily pig roll is sometimes “wasted” on the birds for hire (piggy mccool) instead of my friends because the loading is so slow the game doesn’t know I have friends.

2) Yes. Lower the cost of the gold by 10x. It currently costs $100 to buy 3000 gold. It should only cost $10 to buy 3000 gold. Are you rich? Because I can’t buy $200 worth of gold (for just a game with no continuity past the caves) just to upgrade my birds which aren’t even needed to finish the game.

3) Try find a way to spend snoutlings? very laughable. Literally have nothing to spend it on. I’m not looking for something that isn’t there.

4) No kidding it’s not original. Did you read at the top of my original post saying someone might have already listed these?

5) How is PVP battles silly? You enemy (friend) could be controlled by AI.

6) No kidding. They made this game didn’t they? Of course it takes work, I would be more inclined to spend money if it was worth it and they added more.

9) Some players want to skip? It’s really a waste of gold. I never had to use it once, as I got everything eventually (that doesnt require gold).

10) Silly idea? Thats the whole point of this game. The sillier the better.

11) So what? If that level 9999 player wants the level 1 player to have it…they should. Besides the easy way to fix that is to limit the equipment to the level of the person giving the item. So level 20 person can give a 19 person an item but they can’t use it until 20.

12) Personally I love to look at other people’s equipment. It’s small but IMO worth it.

13) Not practical? I’ve finished the game, it would be nice if I could look at all the stuff in one spot instead of going to each level.

15) Destroy the balance of the game? No it wouldn’t. Like I said…the finer details would have to be ironed out.

16) It’s still a pointless item. I would rather know how to beat an enemy than use some cheap trick to kill him.

17) Yes it can be practical. You can have a leaderboard and 3 buttons. Leaderboard will show top 10, press a button and it will show your spot on the leaderboard, press another button for your friends leaderboard score.

18) OK …how is everything with you impractical. Like I mentioned it would have to be a special fight/boss/level. An example would be where you would be fighting a mirror image of your birds. Remember – i’m just listing an example. IT DOESN’T Have to be like this.

21) Mighty eagles were pretty powerful when I first started. But really for players who don’t have friends – at least the mighty eagles mercs should level with you – If your bird is elite – so should be the mercs. It just makes sense.

23) Why would I want to go ask 40 people exactly which birds they used? Will I ask them individually, or all at once? Do you see how that can be time consuming for all parties involved? What you mentioned is extremely impractical, I even thought it was a joke…

24) Obviously. You can get free potions for watching clips, and also buy potions.
Why can you get free 10% damage for watching a clip, but not be able to buy it? There could even be a daily limit…like 1 potion a day. But like I mentioned this isn’t what should be in the game…it’s a wish list.

25) Why should the golden pig be like any other gambling device? Why are you talking like that to me? Seriously…attitude.

Now Danke – Since I do not know if you got it through your head that this is a WISH LIST – where the finer details have to be worked out/ironed out. This is just what I want to see. Not necessarily exactly how I mentioned it.

Not sure where all of your attitude came from either, trying to help out. It looks like you want the game just the way it is.

I’m sure some of this has been listed previously.

1) Facebook friends showing up is mega slow. This needs to be sped up 1000x.

2) Need a better way to acquire headgear. If I were to buy gold it would cost me $200+ to get all the headgear (and then some). Why is this expensive? Because i’ve already finished the game, and i’m not spending $200 on a game like this (maybe if it was 4x as big in terms of game play and map size). Gold prices need to be about 10x lower.

– Note i’ve never bought gold.

3) Need a way to to spend my snoutlings. I have nothing to buy. I almost don’t need potions anymore, and none of the anvil blueprints are useful.

4) Definitely need a special endless wave battle level with each progressive wave getting harder. How far can you go? Possibly weekly prize for the person who went the highest.

5) As red mentioned above – PVP battles. That would be sweet. See how your birds stack up against friends.

6) Add another bird. Or birds.

7) (knowing more caves are coming) Add a lost smaller tough island possibly with new friend gates and more levels for players who have “finished” the game.

8) Possibly Higher level cap (35 would be good). Level 25 is a soft cap, with a known player at level 41.

9) Remove the Dojo “Next” button as it is a waste of 5 gold coins. Luckily i’ve never pressed it…yet.

10) Add another equipment slot. Example: Robes (chuck/matilda), leather/metal body armor (bomb/red bird).

11) Possible way to trade, or gift other friends. Or both. You could pass down some of your old gear. The trade button could be added to the totem poll.

12) We need the ability to look at friends gear details! It sucks being only able to look at your own gear details.

13) Built in encyclopedia of weapons, monsters and birds.

14) Another way to use friendship essence. I have no use for it anymore; maybe the ability to trade FE for gold?

15) Adding to 14. Maybe a way to somehow have a chance to “complete” a set of legendary items from what you already have by using 10 friendship essence. Getting the same legendary item is not fun.

16) Get rid of mighty eagles favorite dish. It is unnecessary to finish this game. Waste of 45 gold just for 1 turn.

17) A leader-board to show your -Total combined score- from all the levels. Possibly just with whoever you have on your friends list, or even amongst everyone who plays.

18) A “team mode” where you and another player use all 5 birds (you pick who uses 2 or 3 birds) and fight special rounds. Gold for both players for winning the special fight. Almost like the daily golden pig level but quite a bit harder than that.

To add, maybe even a “friendship” gate where you have to ask friends to defeat a wave at a friendship gate to open, once each has finished the level you can open the gate. This would have to be added to another island.

19) Did I mention more areas to explore? Besides more caves that is.

20) The ability to “Select” which one of your friends birds you can use…or even be able to customize which ability they can use for your fight. The latter might be a bit much.

21) The birds for hire need to be scaled correctly for people with no friends. Or at least they should be using legendary gear. Currently all the birds for hire are somewhat garbage.

22) The ability to tap and hold on a friends picture on the map and see their name.

23) The ability to see exactly which birds your friends used to defeat a level.

24) Add a potion for +10% or +15% damage per wave/level (non stack-able).

25) The ability to re-roll golden-pig machine items into possibly 3 stars with friendship essence (if they are not legendary items).

26) A way to enhance your current items via a forge at the birds camp. Through friendship essence, snout-lings or gold, or even a combo of the 3.

Finally found the setting for friends to add. If you still wish. Still kind of new to FB and not sure of all the “privacy” settings.

Level 27 birds. All elite for what headgear I have.

I don’t have any complete sets, however the gear i do have is pretty good (most elite classes except for the ones I can’t buy yet) and I wouldn’t find a need for the golden rage chili. I do have half a set of some epic gear.

IMO having an extra piece of heard gear is far more valuable than a full rage chili at the start. I can already get 75% of my rage chili filled up with the burning veggie cake.

This is coming from someone who’s finished the game by the way (Level 27).

I never bought any gold for this game (and beat it at Level 25). Having a few friends with solid birds help a lot too.

+1 for gear.

I will eventually get the golden rage chili. Although that’s going to take many months at my current rate of acquiring gold, and it will be the last item to get (I won’t be getting the golden cauldron or anvil, as golden pig items are much more powerful than blueprints).

Which brings me to one more thing – they should add rare-blueprints. Right now my anvil can’t make anything useful.

Not sure if anyone used this combo to deal with maelstrom (with 100% health left, i was around level 20 when i beat it, at the time it took a while)

Blue birds – Elite rogue

Matilda – Elite Princess

Red bird – Elite paladin

I start off with giving red bird cupcake trap from blue birds. Then use devotion on red bird himself. After that attack with Matilda.

Next turn Rogue can attack with sticky goo – and the rest of the birds.

Repeat. When rage chili fills up – blue birds always get the attack for the 1+ turn stun.

Basically – Always keep cupcake trap on red bird.
– Make sure Red bird always has devotion up
– Always use rage chili on blue birds

Inefficient, but it gets the job done.

The update did not actually raise the max level. It appears to be mainly an update bug that allows you to level for a short while – which is what I did until level 27.

I actually finished all the caves while still level 25. I did not have any “Master” classes, all were “elite”. You should have some decent gear by level 25 which should help immensely.

What you need basically is to find exactly what birds you need to finish certain levels. Also – maxed out potions and cake/rage chilis help a lot for certain cave missions. I had to use about 10 maxed health potions + 7 maxed cakes + 7 maxed Rage chilis to finish the last cave level.

It kind of sucks now – because I have nothing really to do except either wait many months to buy the master classes – or shell out about $100 to buy half the master classes. But whats the point? I’ve finished the game, sure I could try get 3 stars on all the levels, but why? Just to say I have 3 stars on everything lol?

This brings me to another topic. Prices. The prices for this game to acquire gold are ridiculous. IMO – this game is worth about 10 maybe 20$ max, yet you are able to buy the mighty eagles chest for 100$ for 3000 gold pieces. This wouldn’t even buy you all of the master classes. You need 7500 gold to get all the master classes. So you would have to spend 200$ to get most of the master classes, if you save up 1500 gold for the rest.

This game needs more dungeons right away. Either that or more stuff to do. Plus another way to acquire gold freely (maybe extra gold for getting 3 stars on tough missions?).

@MVLNA I would say the update is worth it if you are maxed out (25) and if you do not need snoutlings. As you can only play the daily dungeons once now with the new update instead of re-playing them over and over in the previous version.

I almost have no use for snoutlings now that i am maxed, I have about 12,000.

There is definite improvement in the auto combat behavior in the new update (still not that great though).

– Things I have seen improved in auto-combat

1) Chili is actually used instead of “disappearing” and getting “used up” with a birds regular attack.

2) Birds actually attack instead of getting skipped once in a while.

Lastly, it would be nice if the next update included more dungeons. Also need a way to get more “Free” gold – it’s real slow trying to save for 300 gold for 1 birds master hat especially making only 2-8gold per day (including the facebook +1 gold increase per day).

Also we need another way to spend snoutlings – being maxed out I really have no use for them now, as I farmed for everything that I needed for equipment and potions.

It would be really nice if you could convert snoutlings to gold. Now that there is a daily dungeon cap, maybe a 5k-10k to 1 gold conversion ratio would work? The finer details could always be worked out later.

Edit: Also not sure if I mentioend but I am currently capped at level 27. Cannot go any further. I suspect the leveling was partly due to a problem with the update (which corrected itself).

1) Bug – Rage Chili still doesn’t work sometimes when you use it at the start of a round/start of your own turn (as of latest update .011).

I noticed it will fill right up, but not get highlighted. Sometimes it will “reset” itself and “fill” back up after this bug happens, even though it still shows the rage chili as still “full”.

1a) I’ve made it to Level 27 birds. It occurred right after the 1.0.11 update. However at the time I was grinding for ingredients – I was about half way to Level 28 birds when ABE just stopped and quit. Making it to Level 26 and 27 birds gave me gold coins.

Level 25 appears to be a “soft” cap of sorts as making gold + bonus damage and health for the birds after level 25 still works (must be for future caves + future Level increase).

2) Bug – Previously – I had a “bug” where every once in a while you would be asked to see a video for a free roll – I would do this and while watching the video there would be an icon on the bottom right of the screen for the video link. Usually clicking on this link would bring you to the browser for the advert.

However there was a weird issue where I would click on the link – but it would not work (it wouldn’t open the browser for the advert….so I clicked on the link like 10-20 times before the video ended, and usually I would get 5-10 “free” rolls because it kept thinking I was finished/finishing watching the movie after clicking on that link.

This video “bug” doesn’t appear to work anymore after the .011 update.

3a) Bug – Not exactly sure if it’s a bug or just programming error. When using healing birds/powers they will sometimes heal an already fully healed buddy instead of healing someone hurt.

3b) Bug – When auto attacking – if the birds have a full rage chili they will “waste” it on the weakest enemy, or an enemy they cannot damage (for example – does not take more than 166 damage). Example – Red bird attacking prince porky with his super slash.

4) Bug – When using the combination of Bomb (Hulk smash), 3birds, and red – if you use Bombs ability to “copy attack of friendly target” – on my next turn after it is cast and I attack with Red bird – Bomb will attack then move into the middle position exactly between Red Bird and 3birds (3birds are usually at the bottom for me) – so if i try and select bomb – it is nearly impossible because 3birds is blocking bomb and his select circle.

5) Issue – If you leave Angry Birds Epic on too long, whether by playing or leaving it on in the background (android by the way) it starts to get slow/clunky and seems to eventually just quit by itself. It seems to be worse when grinding for ingredients. Possible memory leak?

6) Issue/bug – When offered for a free “Pig cherry juice #” via video – after watching the video it does not always give the free pig cherry juice saying “You did not watch the whole video” even though, I actually did watch the video the whole way.

7) Sometimes if you attack an enemy that will attack you right back (by way of an enemies ability) if I go too quickly to attack with one of the other birds before the enemy attacks back – my turn will either end right away, or my bird won’t attack, and his circle select disappears, even though i can still select him.

That might be two different issues.

8) Bug/issue – Every once in a while on the main screen – the egg button (bottom right) or the tools button (bottom left) cannot be pressed – if you press them it appears to show the pressed animation, but does not take you to the bird/anvil/cauldron screen. This seems to happen on any yellow-button (the back arrow, tools button, egg button).
