It doesn’t really.

But if you’re one of those gem hackers (I don’t know how it’s done, but I’d be surprised if some intrepid coder hasn’t figured out a way) then not only would you have enough gems to recharge runs as much as you like, but you’d have plenty left over to continue a run if you had the misfortune of dying.

I died in one of my runs yesterday (Boss Pig) but I noticed the points I had accumulated in the run before my death were still added to my score. So the 10 gem revive option might just be gone as you get your score anyway where in the Seeker Challenge if you died and didn’t revive you got 0.

@sukerman13 i have just seen the new Ratchet transformer and i play with him as “teammate” here is the photos of the upcoming transformer The gun is similar to Energon Grimloc but is firing like the other 2 Transformers that houses the big red.

I hope those images will satisfy you people :D I liked the new bird!

Yes, that was the case during the Seek & Destroy event as well, although wasn’t sure if that was intentional or a (favorable) bug.

Boss pig level against my E. Starscream wearing shoulder pads and the silly pilgrim hat, no problem! The Energonicon Stunner, whatever, was useless as there’s no Energon structures in the level (Pig City).

@anim8nate This has been an issue for the last half dozen or so events. Numerous people have mentioned it in the various threads here. Hopefully, everyone that had this happen is reporting it to Rovio. Some will say to not do a run within the last ten minutes, but as long as you are out of the event (back on the main map) before the time expires, you will be fine. Last night, I finished a run with 30 seconds left.

Back in the day :), when Skywarp was used to destroy unbeatable levels, if you died and your bot was not a variant, then the points were added to the score with no bonuses. If the bot was a variant, then you got nothing. Remember the message: “Warning Variants are for expert players…etc.”.

The message I received from Rovio regarding the game clock bug:

Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out to us and flagging this. The bug has been identified by our game development and they are working on finding a fix for it at least for version 1.19. Please try force-quitting to game app and closing it before re-entering the game. Please get back to us, if the issue persists despite of force-quitting. Hope you have a good day regardless!

@anim8nate the other issue is the bug in the game clock. it may be showing you still have time in the competition, when in reality the days run is over. See the letter @pampeans got from Rovio above.

I was just about to ask the same thing! He looks pretty cool, I got a level 7 & he cleaned house as backup to a level 10 transformer!! Psyched to get him!!

@elpapam thanks! Great screenshots of Ratchet. Looks like he’s closer to Heatwave with one strike as opposed to Sentinel Prime with three. Both were very good bots before they were nerfed, slowing their reload time and before they started drawing only enemies they’re useless against. Still, they’re excellent specialist and I enjoyed using them in the recent Heatwave challenge.

Here’s what I got back on losing out on my 1,000 coins due to running a node as the day of competition expired. My “reward’ was 150 complementary gems… :(

@sickcyn I’m referring to previous events where if you died (either by losing all your health or falling into the Pig City abyss), so had 5 seconds before your Transformer would be recovered by Astrotrain to continue the node for 10 gems, giving you a second chance to finish, which brings me to my next point [for you @pampeans]- “Hack and Rack” as I call it- where people would hack the game and get a VERY large amount of gems to use [see bottom], allowing them to play immortally forever (almost like an immortal jellyfish- whenever their gems reach a low number, they restart the hack and make more gems, making an everlasting cycle until Rovio catches them), racing to the top of the leaderboard with a unbeatable point tally, allowing them to get accessories, characters, upgrades, event energy, and upgrades in a snap- ultimately making them “top dog” in the competition and practically being able to do whatever they want via cheating. I have experienced this beforehand a bit of times and just wanted to bring this up just in case anybody is unfamiliar with the topic (which I hope won’t be a nuisance when the Ratchet event comes up). Wow! How did I get that far off topic from Ratchet to gem hacks? Anywho, the important thing is the fact that the leaderboards stay fair and everyone has a chance at fair game- that’s for sure :)

@rowdypup Wow! That’s crazy, but informative. Not sure why Rovio/Exient couldn’t catch that though. They should be able to “see” how people are winning, or cheating to win. I wondered why all of a sudden and no matter what time I started the person in 1st place was always 4 or 5 recharges ahead of everyone else. Makes the event title “Peace through Tyranny” somewhat ironic…

@rowdypup @pampeans I mentioned the hack in the My thoughts on the Acidstorm event thread (top of page 4). I did a simple Google search and found up a bunch of sites that claim to have the hack, but you have to go through a convoluted process to get the directions. The one in your video requires the device to be rooted, but the ones in my search did not. Further down the page, @lewie4 responded about cheat detection and looking into what exploits are out there.

If someone wants to cheat, why don’t they just give themselves the new characters/accessories, leave the events to the people who want to play. Oh, because they’re cheaters that’s why.
