    @dante-mele Where are the compiled LUA 5.1.0 files used? Newer versions of AB Classic, AB Breakfast, something else…?

    @dante-mele

    Not sure… I primarily focus on ABClassic and via library viewing mentioned Lua 5.1.

    @SGS Decrypt and decompile options.lua, compile with Lua 5.1.4 (32-bit), repack and recrypt.

    I’ve installed Android on my laptop to test keyboard cheats in new versions of Angry Birds. Keyboard input isn’t working.

    Rats that’s a shame, ABRio with the editor and cheats on my Chromebook also doesn’t support key inputs…

    Luac is useless in compiling scripts. Nothing so far replicated script structures seen in Rovio’s  compiled luas. I want to know what tools do Rovio’s DevOps engineers use to build games.

    ABClassic v4.2x has encryption and decryption scripts + a tool to do so, not sure about the program, but the decrypter command output is for sure relating to OpenSSL. The encryption script is one I don’t know. http://www.filedropper.com/abcryptokitv42x

    Time to test this decrypter.

    Encryption script is also looking like OpenSSL to me.

    I can decompile scripts with unluac with ease, but I can’t compile them back. What compiler were Rovio using?

    <p style=”text-align: left;”>What program has folders like “/…/…/external/Fusion/tools”?</p>

    I thought there were seperate programs… That’s why there’s two, delete decrypter. Basically, I was checking older versions of ABCLASSIC when looking for specific music and found these in assets/data.

    Yeah, LUAC 5.1.0 (32-bit) is their compiler, but not so sure if I can find a binary.

    Swapping levels is easier than I thought.

    Interesting fact : Mirror World actually works like a mirror for levels

    DEAD_ACCOUNT
    @dante-mele

    Wait, are you trying to port the mirror world levels TO PC? Nice.

    ClickGaster
    @clickgaster

    I use Steam version of AB Space.

    It’s already got all Mirror World levels.

    Does posting entire entire data folder counts as piracy?

    No AB Space updates for almost 4 years.

    Last update was 2017 right?

    ClickGaster
    @clickgaster

    That was a bugfix. Last major update was in 2015.

    @dante-mele

    Oh ok, v2.1.0 is the latest version ABSPACE (Steam) I could find, is that it?

    ClickGaster
    @clickgaster

    Yes, it’s last version available on pc

    @dante-mele

    I should document the exclusive update of ABSPACE for Steam on TCRF sometime then.

    @clickgaster

    QA cheats are working in AB Space  versions before 2.1.0.

    In 2.1.0 Rovio moved all cheats to QATools.lua script, which is missing.

    There’s a few QA builds of the game on Steam in SteamDB that are locked under a password, maybe they have them, but we will never know.

    ClickGaster
    @clickgaster

    We need to brute force password.

    We can ask Rovio for entire QA build, because 2.1.0 is an old version.

    DEAD_ACCOUNT
    @dante-mele

    Well I recommended to ask Rovio for ABBreakfast’s PAK keys as and you refused saying they won’t answer, yet that game is at its EOL, then you asked Rovio for ABClassic for PC’s editor files but they refused, yet said they will like fan creations. Both games are at EOL mostly least on PC, I don’t think they will give us the password (if one is used)/passwords (unique for each)… But hoo boy if they did, TCRF is getting some updates, or maybe they removed the game’s listing in the QA build depots too!
