In event levels, castles and dungeons, the enemy level is the same as your own level. (exception: the first time you clear a castle or a dungeon, enemy levels are fixed) In all other levels, enemy levels are fixed.

I forgot to say that the Golden Pig is also always at your level. (The other pigs appearing in the same level as GP are not, however.) Anyway, you’re welcome :)

@chriss9 because when you started the event, you were at lvl 37 and the enemies (castles, dungeons and events) also at 37. Now you are at lvl 46 and so are the enemies. This increases the difficulty.

Here is part of the reason:
Assume your weapons when you were at lvl 37 were also at lvl 37. To keep up the power you had, your weapons probably will need around lvl 46 to match your lvl 46 enemies. I don’t expect you would be able to have all the new weapons for all your birds.

I experienced the same thing before mastery was introduced.

Sorry to hear you’ve been having troubles defeating the pigs now. I believe I am one of your FB friends. @suikyo is right. That’s one of the major pains of this game is constantly updating your weapons via the Golden Pig Wheel. Getting set items and enchanting them make the game a lot easier especially once you get to Exp Lvl 60. You would also do well if you haven’t already to look at the Mastery Points thread and get tips for quickly getting your mastery up.

You have already been doing quite well in the game considering you haven’t been playing that long, keep up the good work?

this might be part of the reason. Even though i started crafting appropriate weapons and offhands now, i still don’t clear wave 1 in lvl 10.

@chriss9 Crafted weapons do little against event pigs as they get stronger upon level ups than you. What you need are set items and Level 48 ones (since you are level 46). On top of that, if you enchant them, that will give you enough edge to finish off your opponents easily.

@chriss9 I’ve done something deadlier during EStone Guard event. I’ve started the event at lvl 36. But 8 days later, I’m at lvl 49. I’ve struggled on level 20 of the event. But I’ve managed to finish it.
Try to clear the caves quickly.
That really helps for me.
My standard strategy is ALWAYS EPaladin(8),Wiz(8),ESea Dog (6). Save for Witch and Tricksters (both M6).
Use Tricksters on lvl 20 and Witch on lvl 10. Unless your birds are too weak, you can clear all levels easily.
Switch out ESDog with Witch on some levels, like level 3.

just got lucky though! I leveld one bird up from 2 to 9 with 100g :D. Not sure how this happens! Won’t complain and can’t reproduce.

I’ll have to be satisfied with second place in this event. Jorkerus jumped out to a 20K lead over everyone the first day and although I came within 3K last Sunday it’s not worth the effort for first place.

I’ll keep an eye on third place, hit the castle for gold tomorrow, take a final screenshot as proof and make sure I am NOT playing at the end of the event. I’ve lost out on wheel spins in two of the last three events because I played up to the last minute.

Crap, #4 is starting to catch up. AtomicKnight is only 6,425 points away from me now. :( I don’t wanna lose my Top 3 position… 4th place is such an ungrateful result. Like at the Olympics.
Thankfully I got closer to #2… Maybe if I spend some more FE’s I can possibly overtake… 25 and a half hours to go.
