I have no problem with the level :) I take Paladin (M12), Wizard (M14), Sea Dog (M8) and Spies (M12) with me, the Referee mini-boss is unable to attack me :)

Because he’s dead before he can attack. XD Sea Dog is a big help. Having him grants me 6 attacks in a single turn instead of 4 (Paladin attacks and SD gets a bonus attack, Spies attack and SD gets a bonus attack, Wizard attacks and Sea Dog just keeps buffing Paladin and Spies to keep the bonus attacks up).

He cant attack bc he dies before he can launch any attacks. He needs 3 rounds I think. Or what do you mean?

I used my remaining Stamina Drinks and rushed to GPC!
In 10 minutes I’ll be able to have my first run. :D

Beware, Level 20 is quite tough! I had to stun the Coach boss with the Blues’ rage ability once so he couldn’t attack in the turn after that (3033 damage to all, 2 turns to charge, plus 25% for every defeated ally, plus 50% from his helpful effect… that’s gonna wreck you for sure) … It’s possible without Samurai’s shield with the same strategy you also used to clear Level 10 – this is just as a warning.

EDIT: Done :) 10 gold medals to go!

On my board, I am still in second place, 3rd place is close but 4th place is a bit further away thankfully :)

I also saw that the guy in 1st renamed himself to “UsainBolt’sCousin”. LOL

@smwforever45 I agree level 20 is very hard indeed. I’m now down to 4 stamina drinks on my inventory as I wanted to do the GPC asap. Anyway, done that and I’ve also still got to get 10 more medals.

I’m still in 6th place which I’m happy with.

what should i fokus on during the event? I am lvl 44 and playing since 3 weeks.

a) staying in 1st place on the ladder for mastery points
b) trying to get to the GPC (i’m having trouble getting the 3rd star on quite a few lvls atm). I am getting better but it’s really rough.
c) focus on getting the elite class headgear first

I don’t think i will accomplish all 3.
What do i get out of the GPC lvls? is it worth burning all stamina and everything just for that?

Well people i have reached the castle i have 7 energy drinks another 3 to go at the castle! And another 6 ingredients (metals) to gain the Elite Tricksters :)

Is there even a point to attempting 20 if you’re only level 7 with no legend sets?

Can’t seem to figure out level 20. I am level 57, but my Mastery levels only ranges from 6 to 8. Having a very difficult time here.

AH. As has been alluded to, the key to level 20 is clearing the field of the lesser pigs, then using the blues’ rage ability every turn (with the help of the flaming pies or whatever they’re called) to kerp the ref pig stunned while the others attack.

Yeah it’s rather close. I’ll play level 19 to get the ingredients, then switch to level 10 to bulk up more points and secure my Top 3 position. ;)

Your main focus should definitely be to reach GPC! You can get 10 Lucky Coins from it, once every 24 hours, for up to 40 LC’s until the event ends. That’s the biggest LC source – besides the Daily Calendar – in the game. Don’t miss your chance.

Your second focus should be the Elite upgrade for Tricksters. It doesn’t seem like you can purchase it with Lucky Coins if you miss it. Definitely go for it if you use the class often or if you just want to collect ’em all.

You don’t have to stay in #1 to get as much Mastery as possible. Top 3 is enough :-) Sometimes, if competition is too tough I’m also satisfied with Top 7.

Have you got Sea Dog? He can really come in handy to get some bonus attacks in. Also bring Tricksters to dispel the Coach’s attack boost. The other two birds are your choice but I recommend Paladin (or Samurai) and Wizard. Give the full Rage Chilli to Chuck, or to the Blues if the Coach is about to attack (it gives you another turn to try and defeat him). Use Chilli Cakes if necessary.

@smwforever45 I appreciate the tip, I will give it a shot but instead of Sea Dog I have Elite Bard (trying to get the stun) and have my Samurai equipped with the Stun Hammer but that route isn’t working. I unfortunately do not have Sea Dog, he is next on my list.

If you don’t have Sea Dog, then I’d probably want to use this. Stun is a pretty good idea:
– Samurai w/the stun hammer (do you have the complete set? It increases the stun duration from 1 to 2 turns)
– Lightning Bird (he can dispel the Coach’s helpful effect, AND he can give your Samurai and Bard more chances to stun the Coach!)
– Bard w/Nightmare (if you have it – it makes the Coach take damage while he’s stunned)
– Spies (they do AoE damage – perfect to slowly dribble the minion pigs’ health while you focus on the Coach)

WOAH WAIT WHAT?!?

They BOTH have 40k health and deal 3k damage! When I first played the level I had only one Coach!
Yuck!

I lost… The upper Coach kept charging to attack while the lower Coach would buff the upper Coach with the extra damage and then attack himself. I swear I had NO CHANCE.
