Basically, they are saying that, keep spending money and you will eventually get them 173387474292 rolls later.

@jacob1 It may well be the case as Rovio claimed; the chance of getting a specific banner reduces as more banner sets are introduced. But if no one has got any of the new banner sets, one has to wonder if it is really down to bad luck. After all, no one says that they all have an equal chance of showing up. In any case, Rovio is probably more than happy to maintain status quo that encourages purchases that will help keep it ticking.

Yes you are right. Rovio might be thinking just like that. However the issue is that old sets are dropping over and over again but none of the new ones. After spending around 1000 (yes that’s right a thousand) lucky coins the only thing I could get is -like- 7-8 of each head and banner but none of the new ones. That’s just might be a little bit more than a bad luck I guess.

@jacob1 Just discovered that once I viewed the list of banner items from the arena, viewing the list of set items from the nest will show the list of banner items instead with v1.5.3. It wouldn’t be surprising that there is a bug in their code that meant nobody will ever get those new banner items; I’m not sure Rovio support can or did actually verify that. But if it is indeed the case, that only serves to underline Rovio/Chimera coding practice/quality.

Indeed there is a bug in their code. However the problem is that they refuse to fix it. I hoped that it would be fixed in the 1.5.4 but i guess we have to wait for smb. from Rovio to actually discover it.
BTW It would be helpful If anyone has actually ever got the new arena sets verify that they actually got them by AGPM in the forums to find the cause of the problem.

Not sure what the concern is with getting new banner sets. Since their release, approximately 85% of my arena opponents have had one of the new banner sets equipped. Naturally, none of my AGPM rolls have awarded a new banner set item, but I don’t spend a lot of LC on that so I just figured others were rolling till they get em.

I was just settling in to a happy place where Arena matchups have been tolerable and new bird leveling was feeling pretty fair. Not looking forward to updating and getting slaughtered in Arena again…

Updated to 1.5.4: so far noticed the following
* paths between world map levels are shorter (less time wasted curving back and forth).
* Arena opponents now are up to 1000 power stronger than in 1.5.3, and none so far have a lower power (and I’m still in wood league, lol).
* None of the Arena opponents post-update have any of the new banner sets anymore.

So the arena changes just don’t make sense. Who were those new banner-users clogging up the arena in 5.3, and where did they go, and why does Rovio seem to object to me being able to achieve a 3-star result in Arena?

Used up some of my LCs and still none of the new sets, not one piece. Gonna wait for the 5XRR to confirm anything but for now, it really seems like these items are not there.

Also, they did not fix the visual glitch with the GAPM league crowns.

@sam-spargo Oh so I just got really unlucky then to encounter two such banners one after the other? Well I’ll try again later but if this keeps happening, I just can’t be bothered. Unlike some here, I’m not willing to buy lucky coins and I don’t have any friends who play the game so I don’t get any kickbacks like FE either. I’m also getting burned out on all the bugs, constantly getting error messages that I didn’t watch a video so I don’t get the prize, clicking on the ‘watch a video to get 5 stamina drinks’ arrow and nothing happens, only win the coin toss on Arena about 10% of the time (statistically impossible if it’s random). Despite my difficulties I often win the Events and that’s about the only incentive that keeps me coming back any more!

@kennymcc To my knowledge, no one has them, not even one single piece. However, Rovio says that we are just unlucky. I don’t buy that.

Yeah I dont buy it too, so I wrote Rovio a ticket about it yesterday. I wrote them something like that: Do you really think that all ABN players are unlucky :D

Suggest this to them:
Tell them to try and obtain just a single one of the new set items from the Arena GPM. The amount of LC’s it takes them to get one, we will all get as compensation. Since it’s impossible they’ll realise their mistake and fix it before they go bankrupt on LC’s :P

I think the problem with (non-existing) new sets do not bother Rovio at all. Since people spend more LC’s wondering if they can get them make Rovio earn more money so far. Also they keep saying you are unlucky to everyone who are complaining unable to get them is much as annoying as the glitch itself. Why don’t they just bother to check their coding a bit ? I also hope that this thread is forwarded to Rovio too because individual complaints seem to be ineffective.

With the removal of those two Trainers on the world map, the classes have been rearranged slightly in unlock order, such as the Priestess being added at the Trainer at the end of Winter Wonderland with the Spies

More challenging battles is right. Before update the update I was fighting against people who were between 2400 and 2700 power lvls not I am up against between 2900 and 3200 and I am at 2800 something. Its ridicules and hard to stay in top 3 now with out needing to spend LCs to recharge.
