Angry Birds Epic version 1.3.3 is going live

@whiteasice Think the Blessed Set was nerfed some time ago, forget when exactly. I noticed the bug with the Druids heal as well. One of the few viable Matilda classes is now severely crippled.

The new sets sound interesting. Too bad the enchanting mechanic has turned this game into a complete Pay 2 Win business model. Running into teams where even my 50/12 birds can’t compete especially if the enemy team gets lucky crit/procs/go first. Makes PVP a lot more frustrating. Also got a cheater in my bracket for the first time in months.

Guess I’ll just wait for the Holiday Event, new class should be interested.

This patch has been very frustrating so far. I’m not sure if I should bother spending any LCs on enchanting because I don’t know if the level cap will go up anytime soon. Also I’d like to make use of the x5 chance to upgrade some of the set pieces from when I was level 47 and get some of the new ones. But there’s not enough LCs to go around and I’m not about to spend money on something that will be obsolete in a few months.

@Rovio: What’s the plan here – is 50 the final level? If we’re going to be able to get Enchanting shards in the January update, why not wait until then to release Enchanting? Why add this element now and completely screw up Season 5?

The update has completely changed PvP for sure. It seems like in addition to the pay to win shifting of the game, it also turns into a huge luck based match.

Not gonna lie, during the black friday sale, i did buy the 750LC offer, and I had a total of a little over 1k on release of the update. It allowed me to completely upgrade my ballista, living lightning and golden pistol. I usually use 50/12 tricksters, wizard and a 50/10 seadog. If i win the toss, i can easily knock out all three birds and most of the banner in one turn with the chili followed by gang up. Even better, if my tricksters hit a critical for 5.9k, i can easily finish a match in a single turn.

Same goes for if my enemy wins the toss. My total power level is ~1350 in the arena, and sometimes i face enemies at 1510+ power.

Arena PvP is just turning into a toss match, whoever goes first wins, and it’s all because of the modal 2k+ damage that any bird is capable of hitting in a single turn.

Mighty Eagles envoy or whatever it’s called is level 55 I believe. It would suggest 50 is not the level cap.

@bubbley Mighty Eagle’s Mercenary birds have always been 4-5 levels higher than the level cap.

I agree with that. The result of Arena battles will depend even more on luck. All will be about the toss before battle, that you cant affect by any means. In my opinion Arena Battles are most annoying thing in this game! I made my Diamond trophy there and spent alot of time with it. After that I told myself I will not play Battle Arena anymore because it brings me no fun :( I dont like things that depend alot on luck!

Did anyone noticed that Wizpig from SRC is more beefy (probably more HP) ? Now the players at the SRC can’t beat him anymore.

Did anyone noticed that “Ironclad” passive ability from Pig Knights is disabled? You can now well do every damage to knights.

@donewithpigs So you now have 2 set items. It took me 7-10 days to get my first 2 set items. I’ve played the game much longer than you and I’ve gotten well over 200 set items so you are a new player compared to many others here who have gotten just as many set items as me.

It’s OK to be a new player. We are here to help players of all levels. However it is very annoying that you keep making these wild speculations which are often wrong, but you keep acting like you know everything. I could have corrected you on at least a half dozen posts, but I let others do it because I don’t feel like wasting my time when you won’t listen to people who correct the info you posted. Instead you keep insisting you are right. A few examples would be when the next event starts or when the updates are coming out. Now you are insisting that there are new sets for characters when most likely it is just new art work. Rovio tends to give us hints when new sets really are coming out.

If those really were new sets, then what are their special abilities because you should have noticed something different when fighting enemies with these new sets?

You can now damage Ninja with big attacks, but only a portion of damage is accepted
“Ironclad” passive ability is weaker, now 50% of the small attacks are accepted.
Poseidon Pig is now 33.5k HP, deals 5x 86 damage
Classes that costed 275 now cost 260, but now Paladin costs instrad of 75, 90 LC

Anyone else found that their Arena GP clock is stuck on 24 hours again. Mine worked for 2 spins. Other one is fine.

But would Rovio tell you NOT to spend? It is obviously in their interest for players to pay, so they will tell you it’s safe to enchant at 50, then bump the cap so players will have to spend more. It is a business…

On a side note, please do not assume people are n00b simply because they have just joined this site. I have been playing since day one, am lvl 50, 18 classes at 12, the rest (barring Illusionist & Witch) very close, 1026 stars and 4 diamond trophies. I have only spent real $ once, during a promotion, so most of this is from everyday playing (and a sorely missed GCE)

I have question about cave bonus. It is that treasure chest which flies on a cloud. Do you know how it works? I think it has 24 hours interval? But after 24 hours I have to go inside the cave and out several times to get that “cloud chest”. Similar thing usually happens with the free roll on GPMs when the timer reaches “zero”. I see 24:00:00 and no option to make free roll. When I leave the screen and go back several times, that free roll appears. What is your experience?

@kennymcc I have found that the cave chest is never quite 24 hours. To be honest I frequently forget it then set about fixing the exact time. I find it’s always a few minutes out. As for the 24 hour clock in the both GP mine has not worked consistently but I find if I log out and then in it works.

I have put in a couple of request to Rovio about the clock not counting down.

I found that the game crashes quite often, more than ever before. I play it on Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. I also play it on my PC on Bluestacks and found almost no problem. Isn’t it weird? What is your experience?
