I can’t keep my eagles either. One minute they are in inventory the next they are gone. If Rovio is doing it they are indeed desperate.

It has to be a glitch but Rovio never admits to glitches. The just send out their form letters closest to your question. I responded last time asking if they even read my ticket as the response came no where near answering my question. I got no response to that so I’m fairly sure they don’t even read help tickets. They just mark them solved.

Agree. I’m very specific and clear when I write a support ticket, describing precisely what the issue is. The response usually is “Hello there and thank you for contacting us. Our developers are aware of this and will fix it in the next update. Hope you can still enjoy playing the game.” Sound familiar? Not a word that addresses the specifics of the support request. Updates come and go but the issue is never resolved. Doubt that it ever will be. I don’t think that they have the technical wherewithal.

So,my free bird videos have disappeared , if I use all my birds and I’m still losing it goes straight to the ‘use 60 gems’ option. Awesome.

Something has changed in the arena since this morning. I have gone from 9 & 10 star wins to 5 star wins. WTF!!!! We went almost an entire week with nobody commenting on this forum. Then rovio has to screw it up again. They can’t leave well enough alone.

How many feathers do I need to level a bird to 18?

Thank you, Jon! Is there a site or link or someplace on this site that lists all the bird levels along with the feather count to reach each level? I have looked and asked Google, but have had no luck finding that specific information.

You might find it under bird tiers..I can remember some requirements but not all.

Normal Tiers – Colored cards – This is out of the top of my head, as it’s been over a year since I left these cards

1- Vanilla – requires 0 feathers
2- Bronze – requires 100 feathers
3- Silver – requires 250 feathers
4- Gold – requires 550 feathers
5 – Azure – requires 950 feathers
6 – Emerald – requires 1400 feathers
7 – Amethyst – requires 1600 feathers
8 – Diamond – requires 1800 feathers

Elder Tiers – Colored cards with with decor on the left and right side

9- Bronze – requires 1900 feathers
10 – Silver – requires 2100 feathers
11 – Gold – requires 2300 feathers
12 – Azure – requires 2400 feathers
13 – Emerald – requires 2600 feathers
14 – Amethyst -requires 2900 feathers
15 – Diamond – requires 3100 feathers

Master Tiers – colored cards with a wreath of feathers at the bottom

16 – Bronze – requires 3300 feathers
17 – Silver – requires 3500 feathers
18 – Gold – requires 3700 feathers
19 – Azure – assuming will require 3900 feathers – likely will unlock on October 20th
20 – Emerald – assuming will require 4100 feathers – likely will unlock on November 3rd

22 – Diamond – assuming will require 4500 feathers – likely will unlock on December 1st

What’s after Master Diamond? Plutonium? I think that Rovio should stop at Diamond for a while and concentrate their efforts on fixing the myriad bugs that infest this game. They can still release new levels and DC because they’re usually recycled from earlier level/DC iterations anyway.

I agree, they should fix the bugs rather than constant updating. I want to see FRESH level design or even better create other themes beyond the three worlds or make a return of some of the abandoned birds like Stella and her crew, Bubbles, Hal, or Space flock, rather than to keep recycling levels the same levels over and over again, new tiers and expensive hats. They do it on ABS, which is great, but why can’t they do it on AB2? It took me less than an hour to complete the Copacabacon 1st half. Basically repeats from the 60 level Pig Bay Chapter, but with the addition of Beam Pig to add some minor excitement. If you think recycling is bad, you should try AB Pop. Recycling at its finest

Not only can’t they read they can’t even look at pictures illustrating the problem, and then correct thing! The entire department is a joke. Help desk heck it’s a save yourself desk. I haven’t programmed since before window and still could do a better job.

I totally agree with everybody about the arena. I too won fairly easy before but now it´s really difficult. I don´t have hats (looks stupid) and therefor I have a wood sling. I now get mixed against cowboy hats. So I use spells, A LOT. Fix this mixing thingy Rovio! For now I only play to get tickets an feathers. 1 play every 3h and I got demoted this week. I don´t care anymore. I´m going to continue this way until they fix the arena.

Funny story about the new traction pig. An air current that started after I knocked off a snowman’s head. The airstream grabbed my little grey bird and threw him into the next level. Once there a traction beam guided him into the steel blocks taking down the entire structure. Wish they would add instant replay. I would love to watch it again.

I’m new to the game and have been enjoying it up until about a day ago.

I’m currently in thr Gold Arena and I can’t understand why the app keeps pairing me (at level 15) against opponents that are more than 10 or so levels above me.

How is my team with birds of: a 5, some 4s, and a 3, supposed to beat a team of 6s and 5s?

Ok I now officially give up on the arena. let me know when the problem has been fixed (presumably when Rovio have more money).

It is unfair and not a competition. I have just lost 4 level 1 games bu over 1m points – and I’m a good player. i don’t have hats (I’m not a sad person) as I just want to play the game fairly. If Rovio can’t be bothered then quite frankly neither can I.

What’s the point in wasting 10 minutes every three hours out of my life for no reason other than to be humiliated. I have a life.

It has happened again. For the 5th time in a couple of weeks the DC spawned several hours after playing it earlier in the day. This, once again, wiped out my 6 game streak in the arena. I posted an addendum to my service ticket but I’m not optimistic that Rovio will do much if anything. This, added to spells disappearing, to the premium 1600 gem chest opened TWICE without being prompted costing me 3200 gems has brought me to the end of my patience. My finger is poised over the delete button waiting for the next bug to happen. When it does…

The matches only get worse so don’t hold your breath waiting for it to change. I am level 66 and just now the lowest match I had was 69. Not a big enough difference to make a difference but the other 6 matches ran from 73 to 103. In what world is that fair? I don’t think Rovio gives a sh^* actually. If they can get you to use spells or spend gems I’m sure they are content laughing all the way to the bank.

I am more then ready to pull the plug and tell Rovio to find a new sucker to play their game. I have lost interest in it because of all their dirty tricks.

None of the matches have been fair. My opponents in my tournament are unphased by it as the first place has already 850 stars and I’m in 3rd place with 650. They keep getting higher and higher each second. In 3 hours they managed to rack up 400 stars and their ranks have not budged at all, which they should have. I’m now at level 92 and I had super players that star ranks that were 56, 80 that score well over 4 million points in the first 2 rooms and their birds are at either at my level (18) or lower levels and I have to play catch up to chase these guys. They even pitted me with the 1st winner of my tournament last week, Vogel Goosebump at level 111,. I did beat him. For some odd reason, Their destruct-o-meter fills up a lot faster than mine even when they reach the teens million points. Their average score is 13 million pts. Only one 1 RARE occasion I ever managed to rack up 26 million points to the guys 13 million. That’s the highest I scored to this date. For me spells, are a requirement in all my matches from now on, so I can catch up to these to get at least an 8-9 star count and thankfully I take advantage of the spell glitch. I don’t feel bad using it since Rovio has taken enough of my money getting the dumb pearls in the KPC.

Rovio just doesn’t NOT care for their customers anymore. To show it’s true, I wrote a ticket saying how they need to review their 3-star thresholds in their POP game as 4 are impossible to 3-starred. They gave me a half-witted answer saying their designed to be tough…they can be 3-starred, don’t give up. Right -_- . I can’t even break the threshold with IAPs :-(

Also I’m sick of my game randomly freezing. I had to forfeit my streak 4 match; 5 spells, 2 tickets and a potential 10 stars because my game decides to freeze on the pause screen thanks to a darn notification. Last time it did it was on KPC with a just one hit needed to beat the boss. I was livid!!

Even a 2nd win streak match is tough this week. My avg bird levels are 13 + 14 but whatever “bots” I go against beat me by 1 million even in my decent games. I think i will let things slide so I will few leagues lower, maybe the logic will get better there.

Feather rank is complete BS. If I am at Elder tiers I should see Elder tiers opponent only, not Master tiers.

New Levels. There are some average to easy ones but the Hard ones are nearly impossible without spells and gems. You can bring all the spells in and still stuck with impossible levels. Boss levels range from creative to outright bad.

DC. Ok to easy some days. Some other days I just give up.

Bushy eyebrows I agree completely. The whole mess is tiresome and I’m ready to quit. I keep telling myself delete the damn game you don’t enjoy it anymore, but I always end up playing one more level!

I stopped playing the arena, perhaps only for a while. I play normal levels and the daily challenges.

It feels good not the play the arena and all it flaws :) You should try it! :)

Only reasons I sort of play arena these days: The 10 gems for playing arena. And the little bit of feather etc if I last a bit into the streaks. Banking extra tickets won’t hurt.

Goals for arena for me at this moment since I somewhat play arena for fringe benefits:
1. Stay at bottom 3 so I can go down. Don’t past rank# 12.
2. If I move up then stay rank #4 or lower so I don’t get promoted.

Sort of the same here, Bushy. I am working on collecting gems and banking feathers. I am almost to my goal of 25k gems, should make it by tomorrow (been working at it for quite a while. Anything over that goal will be used to start collecting more pearls. Right now I can win the DC three or four times per week. I have only won the KPC three times, twice without using gems. I have an insane amount of tickets for the arena but there is no way I am going to sit around and do nothing other than play AB2 all day, all night, all the time. But unlike you I am staying in the Diamond League.

One other different thing I do, I spent the $10 for the cape and stuff. As far as the game goes, best investment yet. I get an easy 64 gems per day for playing the arena, collecting 10 stars, killing pigs and winning first two rounds of the DC. Chest opens every 15 minutes, meaning more gems mixed in with spells. I don’t always get it open that often, but it is pretty much ready every time I open the app.

I see a lot of people still complaining about the arena opponents and matches. It really doesn’t matter what a person has as far as stuff goes. I have everything and I get beat badly by people with lower ranking birds, star levels and hats (switched back to cowboy hats, like them better). Seems to be pretty random, depends on the level and the order of birds. Sometimes I barely get 5 million and the opponent gets 15 million, next round is is the opposite. And occasionally it will come down to a video bird and 100 points.

I guess the vast majority of people just play. Some are so obsessed they play all day, every day, and some of us are just obsessed enough to even find a forum and post comments about it occasionally. ;) One of these days I am going to start at the beginning of this thread and recall all the different versions of the arena. What I do remember is that the version before the winning streak seemed to be the best, especially when we could back out of a match and not lose a turn.
