Does anybody of you guys know, how to drift over the finish line in air episodes (track 3 race and fruit)? I have already wasted about one week and still can not do it..

Hey mate, good to see you contributing to the thread. =D How easily you can drift over the finish line on Air tracks is almost entirely dependant on the condition of the kart you’re using. Our collective experience demonstrates that karts with MAXIMUM acceleration and MINIMAL top speed, handling and strength drift superbly. Obviously, on tracks two and three, which have a higher CC threshold, you’re compelled to purchase a few non-ideal upgrades. Again, speaking broadly, and opinion on this question is somewhat mixed, you’ll want to upgrade strength BEFORE either top speed or handling – n.b. handling MUST be kept to an absolute MINIMUM (this is universally agreed). If you’re in the unfortunate situation of having a highly upgraded kart then your success in drifting over the finish line will be down to blind-luck… virtually impossible but it CAN be done. Always try to hard-oversteer in one direction and then hard-oversteer in the OPPOSITE direction immediately before you reach the finish line… as this strategy triggers drift recognition. I’ve been trying a lot your trick to change lucky box content lately and I’ve run into an issue and I wonder if you met the same.
My problem arise at point 2 of your tip: sometimes when restarting ABGo and going back to online status I don’t get the prompt to choose from device or cloud. When this happens, the Rovio’s cloud system automatically records the new status into cloud thus preventing to use the trick.
Do you always get the prompt?

It was a bad hit this morning to face the crazy bug of winning 172,800 coins vs 10 gems. Another bug: 2 times out of 3 when quitting the game it crashes.
All TICs still unresolved despite having informed the QA team multiple times since beginning of May.
Too bad…

I am not Well Oriented like you on internet and computers advances. I never clear cookies because I don’t know how to do it !!!
I don’t even : log out Facebook account or delete the app: Facebook then reinstall again I am afraid to lost my 15 befriends : then to befriend them again. I wrote to ROVIO severals times . @angryde. Thanks a lot, mate for your big response! Of corse my karts are fully upgrated or close to this. But i have got great news, after my may be 100 attemps, I finally gained it, i crossed the finish line drifting.. now need in one more time in the fruit splat challenge.

I have tried the trick with lucky box, but it wasnt successful. Could you make a more complete discription of the method?

After I received a lucky box on the track. Should I firstly finish a race, and then before i will open the lucky box quit the game?

@waze’s explanation is very detailed already, but the trick only works with lucky boxes you receive from friends, NOT with those you find on the track.
Anyhow, as I posted this morning, I have been finding an issue when going back online and restarting the game as sometimes I don’t receive the prompt to choose from device and cloud in which case I’m f…ed with the WTF 200 bird coins present I found while being offline…

You need to found out a Lucky Box , first . Once you found it you continue your going into the game .

The Lucky Box will appear in the screen. Highlighting ..!!
Touch the Box . At tag moment is yours ..!! You be gained. Then
Will appear a box highlighted. . With these words. SHARE . Touch on share . Then
Come in out a big list of 20 or more : it will appear a pic. Of your friends ; if they have or an Avatar : you better ID the avatars to know who they are .
Then make your choice : touch to the Driver you want to SHARE , your Lucky Box . That’s all
Hope they receive the Gift from you

Hope lis help you isn’t hard to do it : is very easy .

So, now I can say, that firstly understand @waze’s trick right. But I had got this trouble: “when restarting ABGo and going back to online status I don’t get the prompt to choose from device or cloud”. So, I thought that this trick is working with “first lucky box”, right after the finish line….
now I understand, that its just work not each time…

@alcusto – Yes, sometines I’ve the same issue – I don’t get the DEVICE/CLOUD prompt and it makes no sense. Not sure about the reason, maybe some IT expert could give us a possible explanation. I’m sorry…

@kamenev-spbgma – The tip only works when someone sends you a lucky box; it does not work when you find one during the race.

Hi guys! Yes it seems that disconnecting and reconnecting FB is the key.
Yesterday, in one of my tries I noted that immediately after reconnecting to FB I received the device/cloud prompt which I didn’t get in the usual homepage.
On that occasion I did not have any lucky box and could not test it, but we should definitely check if this works with our trick when/if we don’t get the prompt.

@alcusto Exactly, bro, exactly. Those tormented by the Facebook bug – listen up! My experience has taught me that the *KEY* to resolving device + inbuilt software + App + inter-App + data retrieval issues (via the interwebz) is to ensure that your settings are *fully* refreshed from the Facebook end. The lucky box trick works precisely because it triggers a link-dump that ‘confuses’ the ABGo App. (lucky!)

Disconnecting from Facebook – and there are several ways you can do this (with several, associated degrees of ‘disconnection’) – is the only way to purge your ‘always-on’ (inter-linkages + data hounds)… it breaks the infinite-looping – i.e. when the ABGo App attempts to retrieve data endlessly and without success – that’s triggered by shoddy downloads or mildly corrupted data-sharing.

I have noted that the no DEVICE/CLOUD prompt issue regularly reappears at random no matter if FB is disconnected or not.
I have worked up a solution which is not the easiest one but it works at least for me.
I am on Android and I will give the workaround basis Android.
My device is not rooted so I installed a backup application which works for non-rooted Android devices: Helium. Using this free application I made up a backup of ABGo of the moment right before opening up a lucky box.
Then I follow precisely @wazemank’s walkthrough. Now, here is the variant.
IF, when coming back online the DEVICE/CLOUD prompt does not appear, it means that the Rovio Cloud system has already overwritten its data with the latest device and I have lost my lucky box! So, I quit the game, go back offline and restore my backup using Helium. Then I go back online, start the game and when I get the prompt I choose DEVICE (the device’s data will be the one backed up and restored with Helium).
The Helium restoring process is slow but at least I avoid losing a precious lucky box with WTF bird coins ;)

@alcusto I’ve tried to Clear Memory of the Android device just after closing ABGo. 6 times tried, 6 times worked (got device/cloud prompt), but not sure it always works. At the moment, yes. It’s maybe a faster and easier way than Helium…

Hello: @all. I was taken a break . Playing ABSpace and trying to cure of Malignant decease : my iPad Air : without success. . I thing I must wait for an update : felt really Outside of reality .!!! But I fell much better.

@angryde thank very much for your help and concern about my problem with Facebook matters.
I am sorry but I am not very oriented on technology . Internet an computer advances ; maybe the malignant situation it’s Software …!!! And. I am not an expert . So I must wait for : Facebook and ROVIO updates … Hope they will do that shortly . For know sometimes I play on my iPhone . For get Lucky Boxes and shared with you guys on my iPad Air I am getting some but I can’t shared with you guys..!!! So be patient with me I’ll come. Back and. I’ll share.

Yesterday was my day off and I went over Apple Store : and try to fix my iPad but they couldn’t do anything good …!!!! They understood my problem but…!!! No success. They also help me to send and extra email to ROVIO including ; on of my : I’ve tried everything …!! I must relax and comeback to Racetrack.

My progress : 656=128-165-129-134-100. Next weekend I’ll be off .. So I will try to do as much I can do : Challenges…!!! So I an only 64 to go : and get my 720 challenges for Mastering .

I have noted that when no prompt device/cloud appears we can either wait a few seconds to see if it comes out by itself or force it by clicking on quit game, but then selecting “no”.

The Very Good Notice When I opened this early morning my game I Foud out a Lucky Box for a friend on Game Center not by Facebook : I thing is Carrot Master..!!! But not sure . He give me a ” Next Challenge Skip Free ”
I was very surprised. And happy ..!!! So I went to Stunt where I have to skip severals Challenges and passed by this way!!!

Little by Little but still going …!!! I try to go Fast Like you above I mentioned …!! But you no what: I am making a lot Challenges : that requires big time to achieve …!!! Other question about it .. Every 50 or 100 Challenges you pass there are the Repetutive Challenges by: 7x and 3x ….!!!!
That’s part of the reason I can’t Go! Fast.!!!
