Hi, @all. I was thinking since this thread is getting longer, it will be difficult for someone looking for tips to search through all posts here. If I can manage to copy and paste to new topics for example how to drift 15 & 25 times and give the contributor their due credits like whoever gave the tips their names will be first mentioned? It may take me a while, so what do you all think? @platium, shall I try out your tips first? And then ask the others if they won’t mind?

Returned from a galaxy far far away and returned from space to get back in the karts and taken them for a spin. I’ve completed my marathon racing and in all cases, the next challenges was as I feared.

My new name is now ABGoSlow (I hate it) … I am now 100% stuck unless I spend the rest of my gem bank.

All 42 challenges across the tracks are left with my most hated challenge – “use all power ups – 3 races”. To pass all of them, it will require 5,040 discounted gems (6,300 in game gems). I’ve only got a little over 400 in the bank to unlock a couple of them. To take the easy but absolutely stupid way out, it would cost about $100 to purchase the gems. Not going to happen Rovio!

So my progress is 1,183 (267-257-247-244-168) … 17 away from the magic 1,200 :(

I know I’ve unlocked this hateful challenge at least a dozen times in the first release of game when power-ups could be bought with coins. I’ve unlocked another 2 or 3 since the second release when they moved to gems. Now my only hope is to find lucky boxes containing power-ups and start grinding and saving these up.

Here are the location of “use all power ups – 3 races” I’ve encountered. As previously identified, the race numbers could be different than yours depending on how far you got & how many you TICs skipped in release #1 before release #2 came and same for TICs skipped on release #2 to today’s current release.

Hello : @abgoria. I just read your Reply above !! I am %100 agree with you. 880 Reply’s into 36 Pages : we are going Really Fast.!!! How to manage our TIPS, TIC’s and our INDIVIDUAL PROGRESS INTO OUR GROUP PROGRESS ..!!! I have some ideas : Goes by hand over yours!!! I thing so.

You should be questioned not only @platium ; ask all Racers that have more tha 900 Challenges or over 1000 : like @abgofast, @philhayler, @alcusto, @grimmjow, @wazemank, @dbkraemer and @angryde : all these Racers know a lot How to Drift 15 and 25 Times and more: fortunately You Already Board An Issue that I am thinking for many weeks. Between today and Tomorrow I’ll make a Reply : Talking Many issues that all the Racers knows but are these issues disbanded : I am going to put together all Them. I mind ; ordenaized : and easy to board an understand …!!

@nacho18 and @all – What do you think of individual threads for tips? For example, there could be a thread called:

AB Go! Tips: DRIFTING

In this thread, the team could post any tips they have on drifting, optimizing karts for best drifting, etc. The first post would read something like: “Please post any tips or tricks that you know to help with…” (in this case it would say “to help with drifting”)

Another could be called:

AB Go! Tips: COMPLETELY TRASH OPPONENTS

and

AB Go! Tips: KART UPGRADING

This way, all of the tips and tricks would be easy to find for anyone needing help because they would all be in their own category. Just a thought.

@nacho18. Yes, definitely I will wait for your ideas on how to progress about putting valuable tips into specific topics/threads. I said in my last post that I will try because that is exactly what I meant as I am not good at computer stuffs. Please do the piloting and I will do my best to help.
I asked @platium first because I was going backwards on this thread and thought of starting from there and then slowly go back to other posts and ask individually if it is OK for me to copy their tips. The original posts on tips will remain here otherwise this thread will look broken?!

Hello, guys!
In subzero track №2 mission 27 i have got TIC, as I think. “Fly 500m in one jump”… ahaha, and it is not the air episode… In previous level on this track mission was to gain 400m in one jump, i did it… but rovio decided to hard it more… i tried king pig’s special power twice in row, but my result was about 424m max… added boost power up, didnt help… i do not know how to use special power 3 times in a row..

Did someone of you guys did this mission?

@kamenev-spbgma – please see my post on page 32 of this thread. It is the sixth post on the page. It describes how I got the 400M jump. I did almost the same thing for the 500M jump, but I used the boost power up as well. So, be warned, if you try it this way it will take two King Pig special powers plus a boost power up. It’s really just a matter of jumping in the right place I think. I remember that my 400M jump (without using the boost) was 479M. You really have to wait until the kart almost lands before using the second special power. Best of luck :)

I’ve stopped making progress re: challenges… stuck on a couple of irritating tasks. Rocky Road – Race – 2x ‘Stay in 1st Place for an Entire Race.’ Air – Time Boom – 2x ‘Destroy 10 Ice Obstacles While Drifting in a Race.’ I just cannot seem to beat these tasks!

Focusing on gem farming… up to 1913 gems in the bank. =D

The ‘Stay in 1st Place for an Entire Race’ challenge should be overcome by using the following: Chuck+king sling+2 Chuck’s special power boosts. I hate this challenge.

The ‘Destroy 10 Ice Obstacles While Drifting in a Race’ I managed to pass it on track 1 (I and @abgofast posted a very detailed walkthrough but I don’t know in which page of the forum it is sorry) and 2 (this was quite easy for me compared with track 1’s), but it was impossible for me on track 3 (I counted a total of only 8 ice obstacles on this track out of which 1 was not hittable while drifting which meant that I had to obtain a double hit on at least 3 obstacles: impossible in a single race) and I skipped it with a free skip lucky box.

Up to 1920 gems now, matey… and every single one was farmed the hard way! =D

Basically, I’ve noticed a pattern in how gems appear to spawn… well, I believe I have (this is very probably an ABGo induced delusion). As soon as I encounter a 2x or 3x gem track – almost always a fruit splat track – I replay it immediately with a different character… then, I return to the original character and re-play the same track four or five times (avoiding as much fruit as possible). It seems to me that gem and lucky box spawnage is HIGHER when you avoid the fruit… then, when (whichever) track appears to ‘dry up’ gem-wise, I simply rinse and repeat this process on a different track (the shorter the better). In my experience, I can collect heaps more gems using this strategy than via general play.

Thanks for the advice re: my problem levels. I’ve tried the King-Sling and Chuck strategy on Rocky Road but the other racers ALWAYS seem to teleport in front of me regardless of what I do… but, honestly, I get so damn annoyed I usually just give up! I HATE wasting gems! And, yeah, I’m waiting for a challenge skip to clear the track (1) and (3) ‘Destroy 10 Ice Obstacles While Drifting in a Race’ on Air. Again, it’s simply too aggravating… I can’t be bothered with the frustration, you know? The problem is… I haven’t received a challenge skip in over 2x weeks now… bummer! =D
