Your tip for “Trash 3 opponents” by using Bubbles has worked on three separate occasions for me. Takes some precise timing sometimes, but it is a very useful tip and has saved me a lot of frustration, so thanks :)

After a hard and very very boring grind this weekend, removed all “use king sling 7 times in row” (for now) from my challenge list. Yup…for those that like math…I had 18 of those challenges * 7 king slings * 8 gems per sling (when you get 5 for 40 gems off the power-ups purchase screen) = 1,008 gems invested to make those disappear.

255 gems remaining in my bank (was mad this morning when that crazy bug again gave me 172,800 coins vs 5×2 gems…stupidity)

So here I sit: 1,169 completed.

By episode: 259-256-245-243-166

34 of 42 challenges on our tracks are now “use all power-ups – 3 races” that would cost 3,840 gems to complete! No thanks Rovio. Give me an exchange of my 3 million plus coins for gems and I’d consider it.

ABGoFast new goal is 1,200 or get stuck with all tracks only showing the worst challenge ever – “use all power-up – 3 races”

8 track challenges are now open to me that are relatively easy to complete but require I refer to as “marathon racing” as they’re also repetitive and take a long time to finish. I’m going to move forward on:

1. Seedway Track 1, Race #49:
– spend more time drifting than not, win 5 times in a row, collect 60 coins in a race

2. Seedway Track 2, Race #49:
– same as #1 above

3. Rocky Road Track 2, Time Bomb #23:
– Avoid 1,500 obstacles, avoid first 7 obstacles no steering, avoid all wooden obstacles

4. Air Track 2, Time Bomb #46: Easy but long endurance racing
– Avoid 1,500 obstacles, finish 3 races in row without re-spawning, avoid all wooden obstacles

5. Air Track 3, Time Bomb #37: Same challenges as #4 above

6. Stunt Track 3, Time Bomb #23: Long endurance again
– Avoid 1,500 obstacles, avoid first 7 obstacles without steering, avoid all wooden obstacles

7. Sub Zero Track 2, Time Bomb #22
– Avoid 1,500 obstacles, Destroy 15 obstacles while in the air, Avoid first 7 obstacles without steering

8. Sub Zero Track 3, Time Bomb #22
– Same as #7 above

My ipad crashes as well. What I did was that I uninstall and reinstall again. Hope this helps. I think I read somewhere that states that freeing up memory helps to. I did uninstall old apps.

I thins this tread is still the best for tips. Bubbles works well with wall that is 90 degree, meaning you can’t climb those walls. If kart can’t claim and no where to go, it has to be destroyed!

Good morning everyone!

Firstly, I wanted to apologise for my relative silence on the thread. My aforementioned FB bug has caused ongoing havoc for the past five days. Not only could I not link to friends (via FB or Game Centre), compete in the daily challenge or the weekly tourney, receive double rewards or bounce lucky boxes back to myself… but for about two days I couldn’t even boot the App! Uurrgghh!

In any case, and with absolutely no useful assistance from Rovio (seriously, worse than useless!), I resolved to ‘fix’ the issue myself via extensive trial and error. Finally, after running through every permutation of bugs, resets and software conflicts I could think of… SUCCESS!

It seems that the problem WAS centred around the App’s attempt to pull account data from my dummy FB account via the web rather then from device based FB data packet (i.e. device BEFORE web)). So, the most recent update had somehow corrupted the retrieval script that drives the ABGo Apps hunter-seeker mechs… making it impossible for the App to find the appropriate FB connection/link via the WWW, thereby forcing the App/device into an infinite loop (RAM pig!) and subsequently prompting constant OS crashes. Phew, I’m glad that’s over!

@abgofast HUGE congratulations on your latest EPIC achievement, mate! I can only imagine – with abject horror – how God-awful it must have been to auto-pilot through so many 7 x KS tasks. As ever, you are an inspiration to us in the 800 club! Good gem-haulage though..?

Apologies to all my FB friends who were un-friended during my trials and tribulations. As I said, I was running through every conceivable bug possibility across both ABGo and FB – so I was forced to strip my FB account back to bare-bones. Re-friends coming soon!

@platium @wazemank – autopilot mode – can’t pass up those lucky boxes and gems just letting the kart do it’s own thing … besides, more laps means better technique … I’m tempted to try the “tilt” game mode for some of these to see if I can master it like I have the “touch” game mode

@angryde – when I had FB problems, I had to ensure I was logged into my Rovio account with same email as my FB account. I found problems too when these were different. I have no idea how the app knows it …

@alcusto – I decided that once I hit 600 gems collected the hard way, I’d double them up with the purchase of 600 more (100 for $3.31 and 500 for $11.05) for $14.36 … which isn’t too far off the cost of a telepod here. So that got me 1,200 then I collected another 50 or so through lucky boxes and gems while doing the “x7 slings” challenges.

When I switch between playing on my iPod and my iPad, it always asks me if I want to use the progress on my device, or on the cloud, and it always shows the time playing the game in total. Today it said 200 hours and 12 minutes. I was wondering if anyone else knew their hours playing. Not sure hoew else you would be able to see though…

@platium . I already delete and Reinstall again my Game ABGO ! Then ..!!! My Problem is : Facebook I can do anything no Facebook , no friends on Facebook . No Pics ..! No connection on Facebook …!!! They already ask me to connect …!!! I did it many many times : but doesn’t work at all… I lose or lost my friends on Facebook …!! So I can’t play in a Weekly Tournament . And I don’t see any of my friends on any Episode and also on any Mode…!!!

@alcusto Thanks so much brother!! It almost killed me… and the whole travesty has made me more of an expert on the inner workings of iOS7 than I EVER wanted to be, let me tell you!! Damn!!

@nacho18 it sounds like you’ve collided with the post-update FB bug. I understand your pain, mate. =(

I’ve had everything from partial FB disconnection to 100% App mount-crashes!! I couldn’t play AT ALL for nearly 2x days!! Rovio’s response was to offer some of the most amateurish tech advice I’ve ever heard. I fiddled around with a lot of settings combos and finally got over the line. Your issue sounds a little different to mine… but you may wanna try the following.

(1) Via an interwebz browser – sign into FB and de-friend EVERYONE.
(2) De-like ALL Angry Birds App links and the like…
(3) Check to make sure that you DON’T have iOS7 set to auto-link to FB via the downloaded FB App OR via the inbuilt FB sign in option. i.e. FB username and password cookies + autofill scripts MUST be cleared from your device.
(4) Ensure that ABGo is COMPLETELY de-mounted and swipe-removed from the background of your device.
(5) RESET your device by holding sleep and home for 10 seconds until it auto-reboots.
(6) Sign back into FB via iOS7’s inbuilt FB sign in option – in the FB tab in settings – BUT DO NOT download the FB App!!
(7) Re-boot ABGo. Re-connect to FB via ABGo FROM THE SETTINGS PAGE.
(8) Hopefully, you’ll be live again.
(9) Ensure that ABGo is COMPLETELY de-mounted and swipe-removed from the background of your device.
(10) Via an interwebz browser – sign into FB and RE-friend EVERYONE.
(11) RE-like ALL Angry Birds App links and the like…
(12) Hopefully, all of your pre-bug setting, friends and functionality will be fully restored.

Good luck, mate! Remember… you encouraged me to be patient!! Please let me know how you get on… I still have a couple of other tricks I’ve discovered over the course of the past week!! =D

@angryde – Look on he bright side… not long after you complete the 3 kart challenges, it asks you to do 5 kart challenges :) I am stuck on all nine of those. Still need one more kart.

But – if you haven’t yet fully upgraded your second kart yet, complete the first two races of the 3 kart challenges on each track, then when you fully upgrade the second kart it will change the kart to an upgraded one and you can use that as the third kart to pass these challenges. You are probably aware of this already, but just in case you (or someone else) are not…

@dbkraemer. I hear what you’re saying, buddy. At this stage, though, I’m going to wait until I win – LOLZ! – another Sub Zero kart. As only 1 of my 2 Sub Zero karts is fully upgraded – IDIOT! – one more kart will make 3x partially upgraded and 5x fully upgraded. At least then I’ll be able to knock over both the 3x and 5x challenges. I’d rather wait now than suffer later… =D

HOW TO CONVERT A “WTF 200 COINS LUCKY BOX” TO SOMETHING MUCH BETTER

0. We are playing ABGo connected (wifi or data connection) and receive a lucky box
1. Disconnect facebook, quit the game, disconnect wifi and data.
2. Open the Lucky Box. (A) If we like it, quit the game, connect wifi or data, open ABGo, choose DEVICE, connect FB and continue playing. But (B) if we don’t like it:
3. Quit the game, connect wifi or data, open ABGo, choose CLOUD, quit the game, disconnect wifi and data and go to step 2.
