@optimuspig @droversdog – I played around with it, and the red and grey blocks are only worth 1. Stone blocks are worth 5. I guess this really is another stone block day. The 100 token levels are different between the two stone block days, though. Am I guessing right that this was someone’s screw-up?

My day is bad too – first is 95k – Ivan ( gold crown soundwave ), second 83k ( same ), third 83k ( gold crown grimlock ), 4 – 64k, 5 – 63k, 6 – 53k … I am currently 10-th with 46k. I will try for 300 tokens, but if it don’t worthed I will take just 200. Better to save 50 gems for the end if I need to use them for reload. At this moment I have 3560 tokens. Hopping to miss less then 2000 tokens after two days. I am not sure that I will spend more then 1000 gems on that Blaster bot. An this is only because my collection to be with full bots, but I will live without him till next event. I will see how the thinks will go next day. Hopping for silos bomb or flying pigs next day, so we will have chance for something better in the leadership board the 6,7,8 or lower position. Rovio need to cut advantage of the soundlaves gold crown players. Situation is horrible this several days in last event. Normal players that are not spending tons of money on that game, or the one that are not hack the game to have unlimited resources are left in the lower position of the board, and can’t get upper. Even if you buy bundel with 25000 sparks, you can’t get gold crown to one bot, so most of the people on the leaderboard with gold crown soundwave ( never seen them before ) are cheaters. If they show in the next event with gold crown special bird of the event, this will be total cheat. There is no way enough sparks to be earned or buy to have gold crown bird on every event, so this is only cheating … Answer to that Rovio? Answer to players like me that we are playing this game from the beginning?

@asen Ok, cheaters? I have bought 1 lot of gems last summer at £7.99 on offer, I don’t even know how to hack. I have soundwave and grimlock on 90% each and because I chose to upgrade two to max with a few others on various bronze. This gives me 350% bonus. I’m on over 90k and I’ve only paid for 2 extra which is 30 gems. Next competition I won’t have anyone promoted for the x3 bonus, them’s the breaks. Besides, I use those 2 for all regardless of who has the bonus coz I like them. With 20 people on each leaderboard you are bound to see people you’ve never seen before. I’ve also been playing from the beginning with a year long break until I came back to it last year. If it’s energon grimlock in the next comp he’ll have earned a gold crown by then, so by your definition that makes me a cheat?
You’re frustrated, I get that, but your accusation is unfounded and unfair.

I don’t understand why it is not fixe unless they manipulate the game to block people.

I make mine the words of @emma-simpson. I have used all my sparks to promote Egrimlock and Soundwave. He is already at 100% bônus, and I assure that I did not spend a single cent in this game. I agree that Rovio should make something to balance the game, maybe by cicling the bônus group from time to time, but calling everyone that is doing good on the event a cheater is a little too much

@asen you can’t prove they are cheaters. You have to remember that in the past the only bird that showed on the leaderboard was the last bird that finished a run. Now it is showing your highest promoted bird so these people with gold crown Soundwaves may have just been promoting Soundwave from the start. I haven’t bought any sparks just collected them from events and daily quests and it is possible to have 2 fully promoted characters if you only focus on 2 which some people probably have as you are only allowed max 2 bots in events. Which is probably why this event has been so hard people have been promoting Soundwave in previous events so they haven’t been getting the squad bonus and now it is Instruments of Destruction they are finally getting the squad bonus and those of us who haven’t been promoting Soundwave are struggling.

One of these days either the “Leaders” squad or the “Energon Fueled” squad will get their turn as the Bonus Squad, and then the Grimlocks will rule! (Unless of course, Rovio is deliberately avoiding that to mess with us ……….)

Also, I really hope that we get Missile Day one the final two days.

I’m having the joy of watching two gold crowned Soundwaves duking it out for top spot on the leaderboard.

At the time I logged out for the day (with 5 minutes remaining), they were both over 110,000 points. I’m curious who will win, but not curious enough to risk not getting any points by staying logged into the game.

Again Red blocks. I know exactly what is to Promote only two bots – I am just the same. Mine word is, that before that event, when leaderboard is show bird that you finished with, soundwaves was seen only once or twice at the event. Most was seen different Grimlock, Ratchet and Nemesis. Now at this event mostly is seen soundwave and Grimlock. So with today red block day event we can expect another day at 6-7 place of the board …

Well i finished 6th i won the 300 tokens with no gems / re charges and i started at UTC 02:00 am

here is the few second before today’s event end.

Let’s do the math:

Assume that the guy had +315% with one TF and +105% with the other for a total of +420% (I find it hard to believe that he’d promote more than one Instrument of Destruction).

I’m also going to assume that his pre-bonus average was 970 points/run (that’s what my average was today).

So 970 + 420% = 5,044 points / run.

So that’s 43 runs.

Wow, so the other guy only recharged 4 times, then (assuming maximum “natural” runs of 27 if you start the day immediately).

Rovio needs to get this Sparks thing under control.

Seeing scores like the ones you just posted is extremely discouraging to other players.

Also, whatever happened to the “Improved Matchmaking in Live Events” from several hard updates ago? Doesn’t seem to be improved at all. If anything, it’s worse.

I wound up recharging three times. But it was worth it for the third place finish.

Also, I would have been stuck in the 4-6 grouping with only the first two recharges, so the marginal gem cost of going from 6th place to third place was really only 40 gems.

You’re correct, but it’s difficult to factor in a purely random occurrence like Boss Pig or Unicron into the numbers.

Some people haven’t been seeing those guys at all.

I had BP and Unicron once each today, but due to my inability to kill Unicron before Astrotrain arrived, I actually scored better on several other runs than I did on the Unicron run (I had some absolutely crazy high scoring Pig City runs, where I scored over 1,800 points BEFORE bonus!)

@optimuspig Had a Unicron run and got 9k after bonus. Also, the improved matching of players was simple – under Level 300 or over Level 300. I recently achieve Level 300. Before, I was first or second easily. Since then, I’m finishing 7-10, exception being the Blast Off competition. That’s a result of a recent moderate promotion of Soundwave, which was done at the expense of not promoting the Grimlocks equally.
