With the release of Angry Birds Star Wars II comes incredible responsibility… To remember all of the characters, that is. As Yoda would say, “Do or do not, there is no try.” The purpose of this guide is to provide you a one-stop reference to all playable characters found in Angry Birds Star Wars II. We put names to faces, explain their abilities, and hopefully answer a few questions along the way. Be sure to use the quick links below to jump between the Bird Side and the Pork Side.
Bird Side
Qui-Gon JinnLightsaber, Single-Swipe
Qui-Gon Jinn features a single swipe of a lightsaber. While not the most powerful, it is effective enough to slice through chains and wooden blocks with ease.
Obi-Wan KenobiDirectional Force Push
Obi-Wan Kenobi is strong with the Force. His ability features a single strong push directed by the user.
YodaLightsaber Spin
Yoda features a lightsaber spin attack, causing him to pinball around the level for several seconds. The ability must be activated manually before contact.
Jar Jar BinksTongue Swing
Jar Jar Binks can use his tongue to grab nearby objects and swing via his tongue. Aiming his tongue is done manually by the user, as is releasing his tongue upon a second tap/click.
Anakin Skywalker, Episode I (Podracer)Podracer
Anakin features a aloud racer, which can be directed in a relatively straight line toward a user-selected direction. Anakin himself will trail behind, swinging into blocks.
Captain Panaka Blaster, Two Triple-Shots
Captain Panaka carries a special laser blaster which fires a spray of three lasers at a time. He fires twice in quick succession, for a total of six lasers.
Padme Amidala Gravity Push
Padme Amidala features a tractor beam capable of pushing large objects. The direction of the beam is user-controlled with nearly-unlimited range.
Anakin, Episode II (Padawan)Lightsaber, Single-Swipe
Anakin now wields a basic, single-swipe lightsaber while he assumes his role as a Jedi Apprentice. He is not particularly powerful, but can still slice through wooden blocks cleanly.
Jedi YounglingTriple Split
As is to be expected, the Blue Bird assumes the role of a Jedi Initiate. While Force-sensitive, Jedi Youngling can only attack by splitting into three Younglings.
Mace WinduBoomerang Lightsaber
Mace Windu wields a boomerang lightsaber capable of slicing through large quantities of chains and blocks. It has an extremely far range and is only destructible by permanent items, such as land.
Chewbacca (*)Earthquake
Our fantastically fuzzy friend Chewbacca is as massive as ever. Plow your way through any structure using his huge frame, in what we call an Earthquake Attack.
R2-D2Electric Shock
Beep boop! Our friendly droid R2-D2 features his patented ability to shock any nearby enemies with electricity.
C-3POSplit Apart
Invaluable in his friendship, partially because he is made of gold, C-3PO has the ability of breaking into fragments at your command. Each piece has capable to doing some damage to any block or enemy it touches.
Princess Leia (T)Gravity Pull
Princess Leia, similar to Padme Amidala, features a tractor beam. However, Leia's beam will pull at objects instead of pushing them. Makes you wonder if the two gals are related...
Luke Skywalker (Pilot) (T)Lightsaber, Single-Swipe
Our young hero from the original trilogy, Luke Skywalker wields a basic lightsaber capable of a single swipe.
Luke Skywalker (Endor) (T)Lightsaber, Double-Swipe
As his Jedi training progresses, Luke Skywalker is now capable of two swipes with his lightsaber. I'm no mathematian, but that seems like double the power!
Luke (Jedi) (T)Lightsaber, Triple-Swipe
With his training complete courtesy of Master Yoda, the full Jedi Luke Skywalker now swipes his lightsaber an unprecedented three times in quick succession!
Han Solo (T)Blaster, Three Single-Shots
Han Solo wields a simple laser blaster. With it, he is capable of taking three quick shots wherever the user aims.
Silver C-3PO (*)Split Apart
Just like his golden equivalent, Silver C-3PO breaks apart into pieces, each if which can pop enemies and topple structures.
Kit Fisto (T)Lightsaber Spin
Kit Fisto features a lightsaber spin, though far less extreme than Yoda or Droideka.
Carbonite Han Solo (T)Freezing
When Han Solo is frozen in Carbonite, his blaster is rendered useless. Instead, this character turns every block in its immediate vicinity into ice.
Lando Calrissian (T)Blaster, One Triple-Shot
Lando yields a blaster capable of a single triple-shot.
Wicket the Ewok (T)Three Triple-Splits
Three Ewoks are launched from the slinghsot, each with the capability of splitting into three more!
Hera SyndullaHoming Cannon
She will drop a blaster cannon that will shoot visible targets
Kanan Jarrus (T)Laser Gun
Kanan Jarrus possess a massive laser gun that penetrates everything
Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios (T)Hulk Smash and Boom!
With a huge force Zeb will smash right thru just about anything, getting more and more furious along the way until he is red in the face and explodes.
Pork Side
Darth SidiousForce Lightning
Darth Sidious, aka Emperor Palpatine, can conjure and direct lightning. It is particularly effective against metallic objects, such as chains. It has little effect on wood, however.
Jango FettSingle Missile
Jango Fett features a single missile that can be aimed wherever the user pleases. Be aware that both Jango and the missile are metallic, and thus heavily effected by magnets.
Battle DroidBlaster, Three Single-Shots
The Battle Droid carries a simple laser blaster capable of taking three quick shots wherever the user aims.
Darth MaulDouble Lightsaber
Darth Maul features his patented double-ended lightsaber, able to reduce most blocks to rubble in a single spin.
Count DookuBoomerang Lightsaber
Count Dooku's boomerang lightsaber is an extremely strong weapon. It is indestructible unless it contacts a permanent structure such as the ground. It has exceptional range and is capable of detonating any TNT that stands in its path.
DroidekaSpin Attack
Droideka can tuck into a tight ball, resulting in a spin attack capable of great destruction. Similar to Yoda, Droideka can pinball around a level and topple many structures at once.
Zam Wesell Rope Swing
Zam Wesell has a grappling hook in her repertoire. This allows her to grab nearby objects and swing around them. The user must tap-to-aim the initial firing of the rope swing, then may tap again to release Zam.
General Grievous (*)Quadruple Lightsaber!
Quite possibly the most powerful straight-attack character in the game, General Grievous features an unprecedented quadruple lightsaber attack! No blocks stand in the way of this four-pronged fury.
Anakin, Episode III (Sith Apprentice) (*)Radial Force Push
The Force is strong with Anakin as he falls to the Pork Side. His ability pulls nearby objects closer temporarily before launching them with great power in all directions.
Darth Vader (*)Radial Force Push
This is CNN. Oh wait, wrong voiceover line. Anyways, to avoid any spoilers, Darth Vader has an ability that bears an uncanny resemblance to that of Anakin. We can just leave it at that, shall we?
Boba FettDouble Missile
Perhaps the most beloved member of the Pork Side, Boba Fett features a double missile attack. Be aware that neither missile actually travels at the user-determined location. Rather, they travel approximately 10-15 degrees above and below that line.
Biker Scout (*)Speeder Bike
The Biker Scout behaves similarly to Anakin with his Podracer. The Scout will follow behind the Speeder Bike, which can be redirected toward any other location on-screen. The Scout will tail behind, knocking down structures as he goes.
TIE Fighter Pilot (*)Blaster, Two Double-Shots
The TIE Fighter Pilot wields the most powerful blaster in the game. Capable of pulling the trigger twice in quick succession, each pull fires a double-dose of laser glory.
Stormtrooper (*)Blaster, Five Scattered Shots
The Stormtrooper is the typical bad guy minion who is absolutely incapable of hitting anything it shoots at. A Stormtrooper can five shots, but the shots are pretty scattered. Nonetheless, this can be useful if aiming for five different targets, I suppose.
Red Battle Droid (*)Blaster, Three Single-Shots
Similar to its non-red equivalent, the Red Battle Droid fires three quick shots with its laser blaster, directed toward wherever the user aims.
Hologram Darth Sidious (*)Invisibility + Force Lightning
Hologram Darth Sidious, like his non-hologram equivalent, uses lightning to heavily attack metallic objects. The hologram effect allows him to pass through objects without touching them. Note that the hologram disappears after the normal ability is activated.
Shadowtrooper (*)Invisibility + Blaster, Five Scattered Shots
The Shadowtrooper is a tweak of the Stormtrooper, as so fires five scattered shots. However, the Shadowtrooper can pass through objects, just like Hologram Darth Sidious. Note that the hologram disappears after the normal ability is activated.
Shocktrooper (T)Blaster, Two Triple-Shots
The Red Clone Trooper, aka Shocktrooper, wields a blaster capable of two shots of three blasts each.
Jabba the Hutt (T)Massive Bulk
Jabba the Hutt has been meaning to go on a diet, but sometimes the first step is the hardest: PUTTING DOWN THE FORK! As he struggles, his massive bulk will throw blocks across the entire level.
Royal Guard (T)Spear
The Royal Guard carries a spear that allows him to grab onto a single item. The Guard will pull the item and hold on for dear life.
Tusken Raider (T)Single Sniper Shot
The Tusken Raider is a classic baddy and an extraordinarily good shot. He takes a single shot anywhere on screen, sniping that item despite any blocks between the character and the target.
The Inquisitor (T)Double Lightsaber
The Inquisitor has double-ended lightsaber, Spinning his way thru most blocks and debris.
Imperial Officer (T)Aimed Multi Shots
The Imperial Officer shoots like a maniac, machine-gun style and continuously or where ever you tap to aim until his clip is empty or if he smashes into something.
AT-DP PilotLaser Gun
The AT-DP Pilot with a laser gun that is reflected by anything metal, he can do great damage when the angles are just right.
Cikatro Vizago Three Shockwave Bombs
Cikatro Vizago carriers 3 shockwave bombs and will release them where ever the aiming point is. If the bombs bounce just right he can damage an entire section.
Vizago DroidSplit Apart
He sacrifices himself and split himself into a lot of different pieces attacking from multiple points and doing damage to anything it hits.
Agent KallusTwo Triple-Splits
Joined by two mini stormtroopers Agent Kallus engage the target, waiting for a surprise attack by splitting the Mini stormtroopers in to a trio on demand. Creating a small army which he leads.
Notes
The characters above appear in the same order as their levels in the Reward Chapter. To unlock a character’s Reward Level, you must earn a specified amount of damage points with that character. For a complete layout of point thresholds, see our achievements list.
Some characters are not yet playable via normal gameplay. As of v1.2.x, we will mark characters with:
- an asterisk (*) is we believe the character will be added via normal gameplay in a later update, or
- the letter (T) if we believe the character will only be playable via Character Swaps or TELEPODs. For more information, see our post.
Update Log:
May 28, 2014: Four characters (Padawan Anakin, Mace Windu, Jedi Youngling, Boba Fett) added to normal gameplay in v1.5.0

this is great… i think there’s so much confusion for me about which levels can be unlocked in the Reward Chapter through normal gampelay and not normal gameplay, is it possible to see that info here?
Here’s a guide I wrote up for the previous article, but I think it fits better here.
Without spending credits, it’s possible to unlock reward levels for the following characters, using the specific swaps given by achievements:
(For the birds, level B2-10 is a good option to maximize score. Use the power on the left helicopter, while throwing the bird into the lower pigs. This works for all three of the below characters.
NOTE: It’s easy to mess up this level! @bad-piggies-2 suggests B2-20 instead. Both of these levels may or may not work, so be sure to choose carefully before flinging, especially for the younglings.)
Mace Windu: You’re given a bunch of these guys, so it should be easy to unlock his level.
Padme Amidala: You have less than Mace, but still more than enough to unlock the level.
Jedi Youngling: This is the first challenge, as you’re only given three, there’s no room for failure. I did this on B2-10, you will get enough points in three attempts as long as you don’t fail the level (split into the helicopter and lower pigs). It’s okay to use other birds to clean up if the younglings don’t pop all the pigs.
You’re also given Captain Panaka and Anakin Skywalker Jedi Padawan, but seemingly not enough to unlock their levels, as the score requirement is too high. (If you figure out how, please tell!)
For the Pork side:
Zam Wesell: I messed this one up! Like the younglings, you only have three chances, which is just enough. I did this on P1-3 (pull the magnet down). Unfortunately, one of my attempts didn’t do enough destruction, and I was unable to beat the rest of the birds with the other pigs. P2-8 may be a better choice.
Darth Vader: Vader needs a lot of points (500k), but you also have a lot to use. I did this on P2-1, just throw straight ahead, activate, and watch stuff break. Clean up with Maul if needed.
TIE Fighter Pilot: You have lots of these guys, just shoot the wood holding the top magnet on P1-19 and you should have no problem even if you mess up a few times.
Anakin Episode III: You don’t unlock these guys until you have 20 stars for Pork reward, so you have do the others first. Same strategy as Darth Vader, but you have less to use.
These levels are just suggestions, please go ahead and let us know if you find better ones!
And of course, you can spend your credits in the shop to buy swaps in order to unlock more levels, but that’s up to you. I’m personally going to save them and maybe unlock permanent Darth Vader usage in the future. Remember that certain characters are likely to be free in future updates, so spend wisely.
Thanks @cal010 for great guide!
Do you get a power-ups (lightning bolt) score if you use the swap-outs cal010?
@AngerManagement I can answer your question.
If you use swap-outs, You’ll get a Highscore WITHOUT lightning bolt icon :)
There is a lightning bolt icon only on ‘Score-count’ screen.
Ok thank you @ibird:)
Level B1-10 is great for the birds. If you take out the triangular block before the cart, you get about 60,000 points. It’s a one birder if you hit it right.
I haven’t tried it with all the birds–I tried the level too late for that. Any bird that can take out the block should work though.
Thanks for the guide!
If you are having trouble with getting the Padme reward level here is a pretty good guide.
On level B2-5 use Padme to push the TnT connected to the chain. The TnT should blow up the top building with debris falling to the right to blow the TnT shooting the rocks out knocking down the right building. BEWARE THIS CAN FAIL! Make sure the long wooden plank is destroyed holding up the top buildings. I got the reward level with 2 remaining Padmes so you have more then enough. Also make sure you unlock all the Padmes you can in the achievements. You don’t need to buy any.
Using the same level for unlocking reward levels
B1-10 gets you 58000+ scores per shot with ease. ANY Bird side characters except Captain Panaka will be available to open there.
Captain Panaka is also available at Shop. 100 credits for 10 charges
Is P1-3 really the best for Zam and how should I use her? Where to grab and release etc.? Thanks.
Here is my v1.2 update to this guide:
As many people pointed out, B1-10 is a much better choice for birds than the ones I initially suggested. In 1.2, you are given three Chewbaccas and a few (two I think?) Anakin Padawans. Both of these are enough to unlock their levels using B1-10.
Padme and Panaka are main characters in the new chapter, so their part of the guide is now irrelevant. This is true for Zam as well.
There is only one new Pork side character you are given for free: General Grievous. You get 10 of them, but you also need 300k points, so there’s some room for error. My new recommended level for Pork side is P3-2. If you hit the rope holding the tnt, you’re good to go. Depending on the character swap, you should fire one (or even two) Darth Mauls to clear the wood and enemy bird in the way so the swap can get to the rope easily. You would think Grievous can get through the wood, but I’ve found that he can’t usually.
And an update to credit uses: You can now get 4610 credits without spending money or credits. That’s obviously more than enough for permanent Darth Vader, but I’m finding it hard to pull the trigger on the purchase (I’ve been discussing it here: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/topic/best-character-to-buy-in-star-wars-2/). Of course you can still use your credits to unlock the other reward levels for the new hologram and other characters, but be aware that some of them will be free eventually and those credits will have been wasted.
@cal010 — How did you get 10 of General Grevious for free? I’m on iPad and have completed all 3 episodes with 3 stars and have 0 General Grevious.
It’s the reward for Greedy Pig 3: Find all the collectible items. Take a look at the “this chapter” tab on your achievement page.
Forgot the tag – @mvnla2
Thanks @cal010 — Didn’t realize I needed to “claim” anything!
Been using your tips to get all available reward chapters without spending $. Have everything except Grevious, which I can get now. Thanks again.
I think I’m going to fail this. Gaah!
Any good ideas for the new ‘carbonite characters’? Level 2-10 is great for the ewoks but other than that I am pretty stuck.
The characters of the pork side is the inquisitor agent kallus at do pilot cikatro vizago vizago droid imperial officer jango fett darth sidious battle droid darth mul Conde dooku droideka zam weasel general grievous anakin skywalker sith aphretice biker scout stormtrooper tie fighter pilot darth vader boba fett hologram darth sidious shadow trooper red battle droid red shock trooper jabba the hutt royal guard tusken raider and the last one is kylo ren kylo ren is han solo son.
@cal010 @tomdaylight — Does anyone have any new suggestions for earning pork-side characters? Is P3-2 still the best? It wasn’t my best friend for some characters.
On the bird side, using Chewbacca’s reward level to earn points for other characters worked like a charm, but I messed up Carbonite Han Solo.
@mvnla2 I actually messed up Lando, Han, Shocktrooper, and Tusken raider already. Haven’t used the other 2 Porks because I don’t know any good levels. These new guys are super hard. P3-2 will not work here.
Flint suggested P2-4, and while this can work, it’s not reliable. I don’t know of any Pork levels that are reliably worth 100k.
P3-S3 is perfect for the Tusken. Just fling a Droideka (without activating) to cut the chain to move the boat over then fling the Tusken at the left TNT while shooting the top TNT. Easy 100K. Should also work with the Shocktrooper (and other ranged attack characters) by flinging them into the middle of the level and shooting up at the TNT but I haven’t tried it yet.
Ends up P3-S3 isn’t good for the Shocktrooper because the left TNT doesn’t blow so you only get 90k. Still good for the Tusken and ranged characters that you have more than just three swaps of though.
Pork Side
Biker Scout
Try to use them in your target. TNTs and Iron TNTs are a primary target. You can target weak areas so the building will colapse and kill a lot of birds. I even have infinite of it.
For the bird side, get Chewbacca out of the way first. Aim right in his reward level and you get 130,000 points easily with any character. Or just fling Chewbacca himself and swap character and fire while he’s mid-flight and earn the points that would have been allocated to Chewbacca. (For the characters with guns, best practice is to fire upwards and shoot at the grey explosives.) Got all the birds very easily, it’s just the last three pigs that are causing me headaches now…
I finished Anikin episode 2 on B1-7. You cut the cord for the catapult and if it drops right you clear 60k. Unlocked his level with three shots.
The best level for Darth Vader is, IMHO, P2-17. You just need to throw Darth Vader in the middle of two pairs of flying platforms and activate his force aming the shootin guy… above 110000 pts each time!!!
@cal010 Thanks for the guide. based on 1.2 update,The best level for mace windu would be B3-17. Launch Mace over the main structure and click on the tnt below.
I have a different way.you can play with all birds in level b1 10.it is the best level for all characters. You can get a score of 60000
Shocktrooper probally won’t be in future updates because he isn’t in the Star Wars movies, he’s part of the Expanded Universe (EU)
Cal, just want to point out that B1-10 is infinitely more reliable than B2-10, from my experience. I unlocked Mace, Padme, Anakin Episode II and Jedi Youngling on those levels with ~0 chance of failure(practiced with Qui-Gon 2-3 times before I marathoned all of them, that was enough). I had some bad luck with B2-10 and Mace initially, and Jedi Youngling in particular is very limited in terms of initial supplies, so that might be better.
Why would Boba Fett appear in this game if it is for the prequels (I know that he appears in Attack of the Clones, but as a child, with no helmet or power)? Also, love the concept that the Storm Troopers can’t aim xD Maybe Rovio is giving us a hint that they are going to extend this game to include the original trilogy (and hopefully eventually [<-bad grammar] the sequel trilogy) in this style of gaming? While they don't discontinue the original app, but it is close to finishing anyways…
Same reason why Han, Luke and Leia appear. It’s fun!
Yeah, I know and I agree:D But you have stated that he will appear as a normal character later on in the game using the asterisk, compared to the T for Telepods for Luke, Leia, Han etc. ;)
We don’t have confirmation yet, but it’s possible that he will appear in Episode III gameplay.
why do think kit fist and shooktrooper are not going to be playable they are in the preqal
College is ruining my gaming time GGGRRR
TIE Pilot shoots two double blasters. Fix please?
Sorry, fixed.
Also @amslimfordy, on R2-D2’s section, it doesn’t show what he does on the side of his name. Fix please?
Thanks @sonic36321 fixed
Outstanding posts ABN and @cal010. Very informative and provides a “play book” for this complex game. Played a few levels and they were fun. Will print this out along with the original post of a few days ago and start to work through each level. These post will definitely provide the guidance to stay on track.
Thanks for this really helpful news post @amslimfordy! I’ve never seen the prequel movies, and with so many new characters, even with their helpful little icons, I have a hard time keeping track of which characters have what powers, let alone what their names are.
Also, the information is very clearly presented and easy to read — nice work!
Slim, in the notes, should it not say “the characters above” instead of “the characters below”?
Yes, I moved the section without checking the words. Will fix thanks.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Angry-Birds-Go-Telepods-Not-Released-/271283930938?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item3f29c8473a angry birds Go comes out October 31 2013 yeah and their telepods
Good news!
Brilliant find @angrysam, good work!
This is awesome! I’m definitely going to have a blast with these!
Great find @angrysam :)
Hummm lots of toys to buy :)
Hi @AMslimfordy , ta muchly for the brilliant Characters Guide. Did you do it all on your onesies? I’m impressed – there’s a lot of work in that!
How about chewbacca what is a good level for him?
P2-1 for all pork side including zam wessle for bird side B2-20 all charecters
Also zam weasel I don’t get how to get the magnet to break off… Only have 4 left so it would be great for a better explanation… If I hook to the magnet nothing happens and I don’t seem to have room to attach to the chain and break it
Just tap/click again whenever you want to release the rope swing.
when will it be on facebook? I love angry birds all of them
As far as we know, Rovio has no plans to add the game to Facebook — especially considering it’s not available as a standalone app for PC yet.
After some calculator tapping – you need 65300 bird credits to unlock every character for infinite swaps(which would probably be “true” completion of the game).
Posting in case slim thinks this is worth recording in the main post.
How about adding the infinite swap price for each character? Wouldn’t that be a more useful information (considering future updates and the high chance that the adding will change)?
why doesn’t Leia and Padme use blasters like they did in the movies? they shouldn’t have these “Force” powers. (well…Leia MAYBE lol)
They don’t have force powers, they have a device that does it. I’m not sure about SW2 but in the original you can see Leia’s in the help video (? button in pause menu). As to why they don’t use blasters, other characters already do so having them have a different ability is more interesting plus it is more like the original Pink Bird’s bubble ability.
@AMslimfordy Biker Scout is not in the prequel movies. so i think he is only available in telepods
Any strategy for Solo and Leia??? Thanks!!!
You mean for unlocking? B 1-10. In fact, if you want to unlock any character through swaps, B1-10 is the place you want to go to. Easy 58k-60k on each try.
Exactly! Thank you very much, I’ll try, because I will use the credits with them… thanks!!!
In the shopping cart, do the characters on Sale change after some period or they’re the same all the time?
I think I saw the characters that are on sale have been changed!
It seems like the ability of Droideka and Yoda are different. If you notice in the gameplay, Yoda spins while he reflects any blasts but Droideka don’t.
Droideka explodes into 3 small pieces.
Will this be updated for the new characters in the latest update? It’s been a day since it’s come outta the can and this still doesn’t have the new things.
@Razorblood Yes it will be but we have been very busy trying to unlock the characters. Please be patient.
Does anyone know if even more characters will be introduced in future versions?
That will create a stream of telepods, swaps and bonus levels.
Almost certainly. There is no way Hasbro won’t want to make a second series.
Hi
Can anybody help with me with silver c3po ,please?
I bought 10,already wasted 3 trying b1-10.
Any suggestions? Best level?
Please!!!
It is my last character to unlock.
I did the same thing and I’m not sure how to get the 200,000 points with 7 left. I have no more credits to buy more with.
If you have any updates I’d appreciate it. He’s also the last character left for me at this stage.
I found a level which match perfectly to unlock this character. It’s b1-9. You exchange the first bird with him, then throw it to the first catapult like the balls can go hit the central tower. If all pork doesn’t die, use leaving birds to kill them. You this technique you get between 5000 and 6500 for the silver c-3po. =D
Actually.. there’s a MUCH better level. It’s B3-S3, and I got 128,000 with just one Silver C-3PO. But you have to do it just right, but either way you can get way more then 5000-6500 for each one that way. Check the guide for that level, I’m pretty sure it shows the same way I’m referring to.
I have some simple tips for character swaps. they are:-
1) See if there is a better alternative for a character you are buying. (eg:Anakin episode 3- Darth Vader)
2) Buy only one character at each category. For example don’t buy general greivous and darth maul. Buy any one.Because they have a similar ability and are a waste of money.
3) Buy samples of characters if you are not sure about their abilities if you are buying a permanent character.
4)And If you bought a character , don’t regret it.
Characters to buy:-
Bird Side:-
Light sabres: Buy Jedi Luke instead of Qui-gon jinn or Anakin Episode 2. Luke will cause more damage than others and is available for the same price.
Blaster: You have the choice to buy han solo or captain panaka. choose what you will need- many laser shots or strong lasers.
Boomerang lightsbaer: Mace Windu is great for penetrating objects. If you want to detonate a TNT with Many stone or steel blocks protecting it, Mace windu may be the right choice.
Electrocution: Buy R2D2. R2D2 is a good choice for zapping enemies through steel, wood ,glass.
Characters to avoid: Yoda and Jar Jar. They are not useful in many levels.
Pork Side:-
Lightsaber:You can buy Darth Maul or General Grievous regarding this.
Blaster: There are a lot of options for this. If you want strong laser shots buy TIE Fighter. If you want many shots, buy storm trooper or shadow trooper.
Invisibility: Shadow troopers are cheap and a great choice. they work for wood and glass. Regarding steel, Hologram Darth Sidious is the only choice.
Force : Darth vader is the best of all though he is costly. He is better than Anakin Episode 3.
@AMslimfordy and others, this is my first guide. can you please reply how is it?
Can I edit the pictures on this page ?
@sandeep-kamath, not sure what you mean by editing the pictures on this page. Could you please clarify? Thanks!
@sweetp , I saved some characters’ pictures on my PC and drew lightsabers on Jedi Luke and some others. I ask if it was allowed.
Are you looking to redistribute them? That’s usually not OK. But for private use it’s fine.
I am going to use it as my picture.
@cal010 — PR-3 is actually pretty good for characters that shoot if you follow the 1 bird strat of @f91jsw. Unfortunately, I messed up the first Shocktrooper.
Have no idea what to do with Jabba, Royal Guard or Tusken Raider.
Does anybody know a good level to get the 200.000 points with Carbonite Han ?
Thanks
The Chewbacca reward level works great. I was able to unlock Han with only using two of him.
Yeah thats great, thank you !
Any idea what best level is for Royal Guard and Jabba?
I’m with you @joeba — Now that the Gallactic Giveaway is out, I am more interested in opening up all the rewards levels.
My favorite bird side level is BR-11 Chewbacca, but I’m not sure what to use for pork side.
I still have
Bobb Fett
Biker Scout
Hologram Darth Siduous
Jabba the Hut
Royal Guard
Tusken Raider
@Cal010 — Any update on suggestions? @Spart83 @EricBirdz??? Anyone?
@mvnla2 I played Royal Guard in P2-4. I had 5X the character and had to use it 5 times in order to get the achievement.
Not sure it’s the best but it made it for me.
I’m loving this giveaway cause it made me open lots of characters. I’m still missing three characters:
– Hollogram Darth: I have none to play..
– Jabba: I have 3 characters and want to know which level is best to use them
– Tusken Raider: I used the 3 given but missed one of them. P3-S3 is the best level as stated above.
The Chewbacca reward level is great for Jabba.
@mvnla2 – I found p1-19 is awesome for characters that either cut or shoot.
P1-5 is excellent for Biker Scout. You only need to use him to beat the level twice.
Only problem is, there’s not much wiggle room. I got 3 Scouts as a Carbonite Reward, and screwed up the first attempt.
What a great job! I was just starting to write something similar to this and thought, “Why, I bet it at angry birds nest already!” sure enough.
The one thing that I would add is how much it costs to buy how many characters.
But, after thinking about it, I realized that what my costs are might not be the same for everyone else. What do I know is in Rovio’s mind? Maybe my cost per character is very high because Rovio wants me to start spending money. I have yet to spend any money on Rovio/Star Wars, that is my personal challenge (because I’m less than broke). I saved up enough money to buy one permanent bird and pig, which helped me collect all of the coins in chapters 1 through 3 and fill my piggy bank.
Now the challenge is to get through this chapter without spending anything, which is not easy, let me tell you. But that adds a layer of strategy.
Wish me luck, as I wish you the same.
As mentioned by @E-Star in the Rewards Walkthroughs and Dr-Vesaliuj (sp?) above P2-17 is an excellent level to use for pork-side characters.
Use PR -11 to with hologram Darth Sidious to open his level. Follow @wrw01‘s strat. Took me 7 Darths, but someone else could probably do it in less. A good shot can easily get quite a bit more than 100K.
@mvnla2 where did you find @wrw01 ‘s strat to open Hologram Darth Sidious? I have 6 of them and wanna make sure the best use to open the level..
@joeyba @wrw01 used Hologram Darth Sidious on PR-11 to get his highest score, and he posted his strat on the walkthrough for PR-11. If you can’t find it, let me know. Good luck!
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but just in case one is looking for the best way to unlock the reward levels on the birdside but the easiest level is Chewbacca reward level. But before I discovered the Reward levels have swap abilities (never occurred to me as those levels are about the one character, it seems weird to offer a swap there) I used B3S3 for Kit and Wicket… fun to watch
Unlock the Kit Fisto reward level video
Unlock the Wicket reward level video
Unlock the Lando reward level video
Unlock the Carbonite Han Solo reward level video
Please add the Rebels characters.
Can anyone assist please?
I need a bit of help to match six of the characters in the reward chapter to six of the levels that I’ve not yet unlocked:
Characters – chopper, garazeb zeb orrelios, kanan jarrus, vizago droid, the inquisitor, imperial officer.
Levels – br26, br28, br29, pr22, pr23, pr26.
Thanks in advance ;)
@leggy — If you go to the rewards chapter and click on the new characters, it goes to the achievements page where it tells you who they are. I don’t understand why the regular achievements page of characters doesn’t have the new characters or why they aren’t included in the carbonite melt. Maybe they ixed that in the update that came out today???
@mvnla2
Please see my reply on next page, if you haven’t already…I thought I’d used the reply button, obviously not, whoopsy! ;)
PS. Sorry @admins
@leggy The reward chapters are lined up. First the top row then the bottom row. So since Sabine is BR25 and Hera is BR27 Chopper must be BR26, Kanan BR28, and Zeb BR29. Same for the pork side Inquisitor PR22, Imperial Officer PR23, and Vizago Droid PR26.
@sntrooper
Argh, so that’s how the line up thingy works, thank goodness there are experts like you on call 24/7 to help us less attentitive flingers in our hour of need, much appreciated, thank you! :)
