Arena Season 5

I wonder what statue they will come up with for Season 6. No more birds stays unused, after all.

I did’ play season 4 so I am enjoying season 5 so far. Yes we do need something else to give the game life. My board is active but fewer of my friends are playing so I do sense boredom.

I just started playing a little over a month ago, but I’m QUITE addicted already. Up to lvl 49, and most of my classes are mastery rank 6. Spent real money on LCs to get the golden chili, cauldron and anvil (regret getting the anvil), as well as paladin, bard and skulkers. Otherwise, don’t plan on spending real money going forward.

Anyway, I started playing in the middle of arena season 4, and advanced through the leagues quite quickly, due to minimal participation from other league members. However, in my season 5 wood league, there are like 10 other really active players! I don’t have all the classes, so I can’t complete the daily objectives that require sea dog, etc. Guess I’ll spend some snouts on marksmen, but whatever. Hopefully this hyperactive league is an anomaly, and my next one will have more players who don’t actually play…!

Resurrection depends on luck too much, sometime I had to kill a opponent bird more than 5 times for its really dead….

Are you talking about something other than having to have all the classes in order to be able to complete daily arena objectives? If that’s the only downside, I don’t mind waiting to get enough free LCs to get them all.

OK, gotcha. So I guess the only question left for me is whether or not to spend LCs on the GPM during rainbow riots while I’m still saving to buy the last few classes, or if I should wait until after I’ve got ’em all. Any thoughts on that? Maybe it’s more of an opinion question anyway…

I actually just got to 50 yesterday. That reminds me of something else I’ve been wondering about though: I picked up a few set items here and there. Will they eventually be duplicated at level 50, or do I need to scrap them first, or am I SOL on those particular items?

You don’t need to scrap set items, you can get duplicates. Also to emphasize what @graugeist said earlier, don’t bother using GPM for Arena unless you’re in Diamond league except if it’s a free spin. Although if you somehow get enough free spins to get near filling up your GPM for the guaranteed set piece, wait until you’re in Diamond to finish filling it up. Had mine filled up and after a day or so of leaving it there it reset automatically without getting the set piece! :(

Time Jump is the most swingy emblem in the game. Can completely change the match if it procs a couple times. I’ve lost many a match where the enemy chuck attacked and then Time Jumped to a Rage attack. (Likewise I’ve crushed a couple all lvl 12 teams that had lvl 52 set items with a couple Time Jump procs for me :D )

Resurrection only happens max once per round, so knocking out a bird twice in one round is a guaranteed way to make sure they stay down. Really wish they’d rework that so it functions as an extra “Rebirth/Save Me” ability. Meaning you get it once and once you revive it’s done for that match.

I earned 2nd place in Wood yesterday, that cost me 150+ FE to get 56K point. the 1st place got 60K.

Now in Stone, 1st day I got 10K point to win 1st place in my leaderboard, 2nd place got 8K for now.
