Instead of Golden Eggs, Angry Birds Seasons Mooncake Festival has you searching for eight hidden golden mooncake pieces. Once you find all eight the Golden Mooncake bonus level unlocks. This is our complete guide on how to find all eight pieces and walkthroughs for the two bonus levels: the Big Mooncake and the Golden Mooncake.
Golden Mooncake #1 Level 1-2
The mooncake is in the bottom-right of the level. Use a couple Black Birds to clear the highest stone structures. A high-arcing shot after the path is clear can land a Black Bird next to the mooncake, but you probably need to trigger the explosion manually.

Golden Mooncake #2 Level 1-5
The mooncake will appear behind the slingshot. Use any bird to explode the TNT in front of the slingshot to reveal it. Then softly roll a bird off the back of the slingshot platform.

Hit the patch of grass under the slingshot platform. The mooncake will appear just left of the pigs structure.

Hit the patch of grass immediately in front of the slingshot. The mooncake will appear in the left side of the trench to the left of the structure. Use any bird to reach it.

The mooncake is hidden between the two slingshot platforms. Fire a Blue Bird into the gap to reach it.

Destroy the stone and wood block immediately in front of the slingshot, which can takes 2 or 3 direct hits. Once destroyed the mooncake will then appear behind the slingshot. Very slowly roll a bird off the back of the platform to reach it.

I have found all of the cakes and it still says I am missing one piece. I have gone through this list 5 times and none are missing, anyone else have this problem. Playing on android btw.
Haven’t heard of anyone having this issue that was not later fixed by finding a sneaky one. I think 7 is the sneakiest.

try lvl 2-12 again between the 2 stands even if u carnt see it ther that had me searching 4 hours bcos i though i had it when i didnt XD

1-9 seems to be the most commonly missed.
Yup, I saw you said that above. I’ve gone back and replayed all of the levels twice and following your above comment, a third time on 1-9. Still no luck.
2-14 didn’t save properly, so I had to get it again.
umm i have this same problem and i got all these pieces but it still says im missing one.
Restart your device and go through the list again. Even if you don’t see the piece in the level, “re-obtain” the piece as if it were there.
I was having this same problem on my iMac. It was on level 1-9, you have to go for leaves, of flowers under the slingshot, not the ones in front. Thanks for were to look!
i can’t nail the one on 1-2
On 1-5 I blow up tnt box, square behind slingshot base disappears, but golden mooncake does not appear??? I DID roll 3 birds on this area just in case a glitch, but no joy….help???

The Mooncake slice is there before the TNT is detonated. If it is not, then you already got it.
It was never there. That was the reason i blew up tnt, figured it would show up after it exploded. That was why i brought the issue here….
The piece is there a priori — before detonating the TNT. If it’s not there, then you already have credit for it. Couldn’t tell you how or why. But it’s done.
whats wrong here? I’ve completed both mooncakes levels, including 8 piece level and 3 star level… However at the start menu for seasons I read that if you have completed a seasons level an item from that season flies past and there is a huge golden star on it to tell you that you have successfully completed that season. When it comes to mooncake the star is empty… are we missing something here? Another golden egg perhaps?? I have even restated my phone and angry birds season and it still shows up as missing?? Anyone get a golden star on there mooncake??
Not that I have heard. I think there’s a small issue with the coding — which would partially align with iOS not earning the achievement for completing the episode.
I’m having the same problem. I have completed all levels with 3 stars and both Mooncakes but don’t have a golden star on a Mooncake item (the way I do on the sunflower for Summer Pignic for example) on the start screen. Has anyone seen one for Mooncake though? What does it look like on the start menu? I’m using iPhone 4.
Same problem, then re-did every level & found it on 1-15. Perhaps you have to let the level fail to save it?
I like this season a lot.. Those mooncake are difficult to obtain and I wonder how you guys manage to find it.. Especially te 8th one.. Some levels took me a lot of time before obtaining 3 stars..but the joy of completion is sweet!!! Thanks a lot for the mooncake guide, would took me forever to find it!

Did anyone notice that when go into the golden mooncake, and go to the main menu, it shows the 3-star logo instead of the golden mooncake logo?
Something similar here on Android. 3 stars on everything, and counted all 8 pie pieces. But when I look at my pie bonus level screen, it’s only 1/2 full. Been round all levels again, but there are no missing pieces which didn’t save. So I can’t finish the game… very annoying!
Restart your device and retrieve all 8 pieces again, even if you don’t see them.
Having the same problem with 1-9 as a lot of others.
Here is my problem: I got all 8 pieces and played the golden mooncake level, but didn’t complete it. When I tried to play it again-after closing game and restarting a couple of days later- the level is not available. One of the wedges in now missing in the golden mooncake- upper left (about 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock)- and I have replayed all the levels and still nothing. If one of the pieces has to be obtained again, will it actually appear when I am playing? I haven’t seen any comments about it actually showing up on the screen, but maybe I overlooked it somewhere. I am playing on an Android device. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
It doesn’t seem to reappear on screen. Go though the process of re-obtaining all eight pieces as if they were there and see if that helps. May be good to let the level fail as well — as a forced save.

Try to play level 2 – 14 again. I had the same problem like you earlier on. Now I obtained the whole mooncake.
I have an android phone have no problems, all my pieces are there so far ? Do I have to complete the little cake first, I was able to start the big one but thought I would ask if mattered ty for help

I have 3 stars on all levels and every piece of the moon pie thing. But the cake to the left of the moonpie with the 3 stars shows NO stars lighting up as if I haven’t completed each level with 3 stars? I don’t know what I am doing wrong…anyone?

Have you verified on the episode selection screen that it reads 99/99 stars?
It says 90/99 but each level individually shows I completed with 3 stars.
You must also 3-star the three “Facebook” levels, listed on Page 3 (and numbered 2-16, 2-17, and 2-18).
Those 3 levels show that they are locked? Do I have to actually like them on Facebook in order ti unlock them?
Try simply clicking the “Facebook Like” icon (allow the page to load, then navigate back to ABS) then clicking the “Checkmark / Chinese Social Network” icon (again, allow the page to load, then navigate back to ABS).

A feather can be earned on each level of ABo and Seasons by achieving Total Destruction of a level with the Mighty Eagle. This is an in-app purchase ($0.99 / app), currently available for iOS devices only.

They aren’t in any order. Your are just missing one.
No I too have gone through all of them on my iPad and still shows one missing. On my iPhone they all showed up
Have you tried restarting your device and re-obtaining all 8 slices (even if they aren’t visible).
Another way to do 1-9the is to waste the first bird and use the black bomb bird to blow up the area where the moon pie wedge appears. The explosion will cause you to trip the moon pie piece without having to get it to show up.
I have the same probem. Still showing I am missing a piece. Must be a glitch somewhere. Wish they would get a fix for it

i also have all 3 stars on mooncake,easter eggand go green but on the final level i doesn’t light up 3 stars have been over and over on each season to achieve 3 stars but it still doesn’t show.any help plz.cheers
Try restarting your device and 3-starring the last couple levels again (verify on the episode selection screen that it says 54/54 or 99/99 stars). Otherwise, your settings file is likely corrupted.
andriod version, iv not got 3 stars but as soon as i completed the goldon moon cake it got the 3 stars cake aswell. (not complaing)

Arent there supposed to be 2 bonus rounds? at the end there is the mooncake with 8 pieces filled in and then the cake with the 3 stars. After I complete the one bonus round is there anything else?
There are four rounds in total, worlds 1 and 2 are normal levels, world 3 are facebook levels, and world 4 are the mooncakes. Thats all Im afraid.
There are 30 or 33 normal levels, plus the two Mooncake levels.
Weird stuff has been happening on mine. First, the stars I have on the Facebook levels don’t show up unless I enter and exit one of the levels for that set of levels each time I restart the game. Second, I somehow acquired the Big Moonpie with only 64 total stars. I don’t have the 3 star acheivement, and the displays for my scores (total and individual) are unaffected. Not causing any problems, but it’s still weird. None of this happened until after the update.
The Facebook/Twitter stars is a known bug that Rovio has been informed of.
The “early-access” to the Big Mooncake is also known, but has not been reported to Rovio, since it is beneficial to the user :)

The stars do not appear until after you pass the Mooncake level.
Having trouble with geting last moon pie piece, wondering if I can see the piece in level 1-2 , does that mean I didn’t get it?

I know this is a dumb question but I went to facebook to get the three extra levels for mooncake festival but can’t seem to find the icon to check on facebook. I’m not familiar with facebook to know what to do, so if someone has the patience to explain it in layman terms, I would appreciate it very much. I’m also using a mac computer to play. Thank you to anyone who can help me out.
Go into Mooncake Festival. Click on the Facebook icon. Let your browser load, then go back to Moon Festival. Click on the other icon there (it’s the Chinese version no Facebook). Let your browser load, then go back to Moon Festival. The levels should be unlocked.
There is no “page 3” on my version (I started “Seasons” at 3.0.0 on PC) so I only have one Facebook button on the main page with “Play” (before selecting the season 1 to 3). Can you help me in unlocking the levels as I can only see xx/90 instead of xx/99 ?
EDIT : On some other “Worlds” of season 1 (eg: “Go green get lucky”), I only have 15 levels with 45 stars (instead of xx/54), and the special level is unlocked (which isn’t the case for “Mooncake festival”).
Mac and PC do not have these three levels (so that’s why you see xx/90). Once this reaches 90/90 you are done for the episode. Same for those other episodes (xx/45).
So why can’t I play the cake “special” level with 90/90 to get 3 stars on it ?
3 star level is bugged now.
Most likely part of this issue here.
Since the bugfix is for multiple devices, is it possible to imagine that Rovio has considered that on PC the “Mooncake festival” had 33 levels instead of 30, so 90 stars weren’t enough to unlock it ?

Oh goodness, we could have sorted this long ago. Those 3 “Facebook” levels are not available for Mac and PC at this time. Rovio may add them in the future, but it is not definitive. Sorry for the confusion.

I’m using Symbian on Nokia N8. Have 3 stars on all levels, including FB levels. Have found all Mooncake pieces, and ‘passed the Mooncake’. Still the 3-star cake remains unlit. What have I missed?
