Angry Birds Seasons Mooncake Festival Golden Mooncake #8

There are eight golden mooncake pieces scattered throughout the Angry Birds Seasons Mooncake Festival episode. The eighth and final piece is on level 2-14, but is not visible until you destroy the stone and wood block immediately in front of the slingshot, which can take two or three direct hits. Once destroyed the mooncake will appear behind the slingshot. Very slowly roll a bird off the back of the platform to reach it. This one is a bit of a pain.

I think I found a bug and don’t know how to otherwise report it. After trying to accomplish this goal several times. The the piece of cake stopped appearring. It shows the little burst as if it appears but it does not. I have accomplished getting to it but I don’t receive that piece of cake

I’m not sure I understand what’s happening here. You are saying you caused the slice to disappear but did not receive credit for it?

Same thing is happening to me…I hit the slice but its not in the completed cake.

if it just shows the burst and nothing appears that means that you have gotten the achievement.

I have this same problem. The level 2-14 mooncake will no longer appear even after I’ve smashed the block This is the only thing left!
Anyone find a solution?

glitch on this level – moon cake did not save. Repeat the procedure even if the moon cake does not appear between the platforms. Destroy the grass then drop a bird between the platforms even if the moon cake doesn’t show. You should get credited with the slice. I used all the birds and waited for the ‘fail’ message just to be sure.

Hey RD, I have the same glitch but would like clarification on your suggestion. I repeated the sequence, still no credit for 8th piece. You mention destroying the grass and dropping a bird between the platforms, but that is not part of the original sequence. The mooncake first appeared to the left of the two columns – is this no longer where I should aim?

im having a similar problem except I think it’s the 7th one I didn’t get credit for judging by the empty space in the final cake. I know igot them all, I went back and checked.

Same trouble I destroy the block, haven’t been able to roll off yet but sometimes it its there and sometimes not.I was confused as to wether I already got it but know I didn’t .this is very difficult any other hints?

i have the same problem i destroyed the block and got the final piece of the mooncake but when i had a look at the cake only 7 pieces were there plus it didnt save must be a very bad glitch, i restarted my android phone but still no joy :-(

Try redoing the whole list, even if the Mooncake is not visible.

Hello, I have the same bug and can’t solve it though I tried and tried…
When I smash the block in front of the sling, there is a little “pop” behind the sling, but the mooncake doesn’t appear. There is nothing behind the sling. So I make a bird roll over there, where the mooncake should be, but nothing happens, I don’t get credited for it. What should I do?

I can get the mooncake to appear, but I cannot figure out how to ‘roll’ a bird off the back of the platform. It was easier with the blue bird in the earlier level where the mooncake was behind the platform, but how the heck do you do this with a yellow bird? Any suggestions, please?

probably just my older eyesight, but I found it easier to pull slightly down and to the right. the bird just barely jumps over the slingshot, then I hit the screen again just before it touched the platform- this made the yellow bird roll quickly off the edge and finally the last piece of mooncake was mine :). playing on my PC.

How do you get the moon are with the 3 stars to be active? I have completed all levels with 3 stars, found all 8 mooncake slices and finished the other mooncake level. but the one with 3 stars is not lit and I touch it and nothing happens. I have iPad 1 with iOs 5.

Yes I have 3 stars on all levels and have all 8 mooncakes & on the episode selection it says 99/99% but the one with the 3 stars is not lit up ! Please help me with this . Thanks

I’ve passed all the levels with three stars (99/99 shows), I’ve obtained all mooncake pieces and gotten a star on that bonus level but I still can’t get the 3-star level to be available.

I have 3 stars on all levels and all 8 moon cakes but the Big moon cake will no light up. I’m using an IPad. With latest software.

Can you verify on the Episode Selection screen the number of stars? Should say xx/99.

I have unlocked the mooncake with 1 star but cannot unlock the larger mooncake with 3 stars. Need help. Have acheived 99/99.

I am having a similar problem.
Thought I only had one slice left to get, but after getting the 8th cake, still have a small wedge left to get. Have gone back and checked all levels and there are no more to find. very frustrating. I have the one with three stars completed, but the one on the right that looks like a flower still has a wedge missing.

Most commonly missed is the one in 2-12. Try it even if you can’t see the slice.

Well, count me in as having the same problem – it successfully showed me earning the last mooncake, and still shows me outstanding one slice. So frustrating. I have shut down, restarted, tried playing it again even though nothing showed up when I did and zip, zilch, zero…still on cake outstanding. So very disappointed.

As the other responses say, it is not necessarily this slice that is missing. Try all of the others.

GRRRR! This one is really really difficult for me. Maybe the fact that I’m left handed (and therefore obscuring my own line of sight) and trying to do this on the iPod rather than the iPad….Awhile back my housemate’s son deleted my ABS and I had to go back and re-three-star every level of every game in what was then 2 seasons. Learned my lesson about making apps undeleteable for future. Now this one level in this one game is the only thing keeping me from all the Golden Eggs. Have watched the video and still can’t seem to launch/drop last YB correctly. So frustrating!

Hey guys, not sure if everyone has moved on from these levels but I’m still trying to get three stars in all these games, but I just wanted to say that while sending the yellow bird on a rolling mission to get the piece if cake (which was not a piece of cake at all!) I accidentally sent the bird to high but not with much force so it did like a bridge jump, over the back pillar and u to unknown territory. So I decided to click it again in the hope that it might race to the cake, but instead, after a few seconds, a golden egg came up! I have tried doing it again but nothing has happened. I can’t find that golden egg anywhere, I don’t know where it belongs, and I was wondering if this was a glitch or something truly, and utterly amazing? Lol! Has this happened to anyone elae? Either way, thanks everyone for your comments! Now back to Angry Birds!

I am getting super fustrated. i only need seasons greedings egg #12. have 7/8 mooncake festival golden cakes but CANNOT get the 10-12 golden piece to show up?! i shoot in between the two structures and i got nothing! am i screwed or is there a fix around for this?? i only need to get that egg for all golden eggs then i can work on the mighty eagle..

playing trilogy on my ps3 btw, game up to date v1.02..

Sorry, we don’t have much information to offer about Angry Birds Trilogy. Perhaps you already obtained this piece and are missing a different one?
