@bench1846 Congrats on the trophy! could you share your strategy? I’m having this levelrepeatedly as a mission i was able to complete but now need 3 stars.

Hi Kathy, if it helps…I have been doing this one for DAYS myself…came to see what others were doing…turns out I’ve been doing the same thing as Bench…so, I went back and did it some more…finally got 3 stars with a score of 159,150… So you’re not far away – best of luck!

I don’t remember my exact strategy for this level. I only remember that I had lots of problems and spent too much time for getting three stars.

But I tried it hundreds/thousands of times on the same way: First bird I shot upwards, approximate in the middle between the core and the edge on the northwest side of the upper gravitation field (I hope you know what I mean).
The bird should land on the right side of the big spaceship, which should bring a lot of damage on the left gravitation field as well as kill all pigs there (rarely the diamond gets destroyed, which will help you a lot for getting three stars) .
If the TNT-Box did not explode and the small spaceship did not get into the right gravitation field, I restarted the level.
I think you’ll have a good starting situation for the second bird if you have reached roundabout 120.000 to 130.000 scores yet.

Only the two pigs on the right gravitation field should be left over. Shot the second bird on the edge of the bottom gravitation field. The bird should land between the two towers and should kill the pigs as well as the diamond.

I’m sure there is a better way to earn three stars on this level. But I tried it this way and after 2-3 hours I finally got it. I think your success depends on the first bird and his caused damage – there were partially big differences in my different tries.

@bench1846 — Thanks! After trying both your strat and the video strat for hours, I finally got yours to work. Not a great score, but at least 3*. This level was the last and hardest level for me to 3* in the mirror world.
I play fully zoomed in on an old iPad 2 running IOS 7, so these aim points might not work for others. I thought it was very interesting that the shot that finally worked was really very close to half-way from the edge of the planet to the edge of the gravity field. I’m never sure how accurate people are being when they say “half-way.”
Anyway, fully zoomed in and with the sling platform as close to the center of the screen as you can get it, there is a lighter purple band in the background. There are 3 stars in the band in an arc from the right edge of the field to ~12 o’clock. Aim at the middle star or just below. OB will land near the wood square in square on the right of spaceship. Detonate before OB stops. This should take out an impressive amount of stuff, leaving only one pig in right tower.
Of course, even this took multiple attempts.

This is one of the hardest levels, ever. I played it hundreds of times. At one point I destroyed all pigs, both jewels and the crystal planet, but only got 2 stars at something just over 158,000.

There is too much randomness in this level. Shoot the bird the exact same way and you’ll get widely varying scores. Much depends on luck.

I finally managed to 3-star it. I aimed Orange at the gravitational limit of the crystal planet, approximately between 1 o’clock and 2 o’clock. On my iPhone 5S, there is a band of light purple that sweeps behind the crystal planet. Aiming at the upper portion of that light band where it intersects the northeast part of the gravitational field yielded the best results.

The optimal strategy is to get Orange to land right in the center of the back of the larger floating spaceship and to expand him just before he hits. Hitting the side or one of the tail fins did not work for me. My best results, and ultimately my 3-star score, came when I hit square on the back side between the tail fins.

If everything is right, you will get all but one pig. The one last pig is on the right structure of the southeast planet. Send your second Orange along the southern limit of the gravitational field so he swings around the structure, hits the jewel and explodes to knock out the pig and the structure. You should have PLENTY of practice with this after the hundred or thousand attempts it takes to 3-star this level.

@daboid, thank you, thank you, thank you. I thought I would never get past 2 stars on this level. Working your strategy eventually paid off for me, leaving just one bird after I finally got that first shot just as you described. Last star I needed to finish up Cosmic Crystals.

@daboid, thank you so much! I struggled with this level for a few hours myself, mostly just under the 3* threshold of 158k!

After reading everyone’s comments, alternate strategies and countless resets I aimed OB as you described. The results weren’t quite as expected, but I decided to keep flinging anyway and with the 2nd OB, a piece of debris blew up the crystal planet!

This gave me a clear shot for the 3rd OB at the remaining structure and I just prayed (actually, squeezing my tablet to death) something would hit the TNT box that would get something to push the spaceship into the gravitational field. Then wait, wait, wait and finally enough destroyed, all piggies gone and 3 stars!

Anyway, here’s my video for a good chuckle.

Be vewwy vewwy quiet. The Rat is hunting piggies and they’re vewwy skittish on this level. It took me three shots to get all of them.

1st shot: Like the video and all the other strategies. Skirt the gravity field of the upper crystal into the back of the rocket. Activate at impact. Nothing new yet. Except you don’t need to kill all the piggies

2nd shot: Here’s where we change the game a bit. Same trajectory as the 1st shot to hit the upper concrete triangle on the middle structure on the left planet. He glances up between the two upper structures. Very important! Activate before he hits the ground. This causes two things. Better destruction on the planet and he pushes floating debris from the 1st shot into the gravity field of the right planet. Whoo hoo! That’s new.

3rd shot: @DaBoid said y’all practiced the clean up shot to get the remaining piggy on the right planet a thousand times. But are you shooting it so that the crystal above explodes? You should. It’s repeatable. You just need to barely skirt the lower gravity field at full power.

OK Now you’re armed. But as I said, they’re skittish. You may need to hunt them more than once. Good luck!

C’mon man. Don’t pretend we are stupid. If 2 birds don’t do it with total destruction, how is 3 birds with the extra cristal the better option. This lvl is juat silly!!!

I zoomed in and it made THE difference.
1. Upper planet, skimming gravity into the back of the rocket. Kaboom, the small planet is gone, the lower planet has only one pig (next to the crystal), the left planet has one pig on the tower
2. The second bird skimming the crystal of the lower planet right into the tower. Boom, the pig, the yellow crystal and the tower are gone
3. The third bird into the south pole of the only planet left. Bum, the crystal, the pig, the structure gone.

This has been one of the hardest levels for me to get 3 stars and I barely cleared the 3 star level. First two shots barely skim the atmosphere of the small cosmic crystal planet. Much luck and many days later it all came together. Thanks @rat9 for the hunting story you posted.

iv never had a look at how its done till I 3 star myself…then once I do get 3 stars I see how the nest did it…but iv been on this 1 for days…..I yield a score of 157160 so I know im almost there but I need 2 look at vid…even tho I think it will be same strat im using…..as I think this level is all about luck…..some1 said 158k is 3stars….so I shudnt be looking at this vid…im almost there..then I thought iv done all the rest myself…….nothing wrong with getting a rare look of the great angry birds nest…..I love this website…..cool as all the way from Scotland……… :)

This level is asinine. It should not take sub-millimeter accuracy to get 3 stars. This level is so unpleasant that I will no longer play angrybirds, period. I have already uninstalled it from my phone.

Got it after a gazillion goes!
Two birds and killed the cristal on the top of the far planet. Pure luck!!!
This lvl almost made me give up playing all together (and I’m an addict, trust me)

Try having 1st shot(to the wooden block) shatter the upper crystal planet.That makes a 2nd bird to the base of leftmost structure much easier.You should obtain 130k+ after 2nd bird.(if both pigs on southern planet survive),then clean up for 160k.
