Not getting Optimus Prime missions happened to me. Since then, I decided that I didn’t know what I was doing when I started, so I deleted the app and started afresh.

Since I stopped getting Prime missions on the first try, I figured “Hey, why not just skip leveling up Prime, and save that cash for other cool stuff, eh?”. Boy was I wrong…

It turns out (or at least – this is my theory), that whenever you release Ultra Magnus, your highest level ‘bot will stop receiving missions either all together, or one here and there (not enough to make you want to level them up).

That’s why some people report that their Bumblebee isn’t coming up anymore, which is where I am. But to tell you the truth, I would give up Prime and keep BB any day, since Prime uses a single shot rifle and a shield as a power, as opposed to BB’s slightly faster rocket launcher and Hiroshima bomb droppin’ power.

How can you change the gems to coins?

When you have 999 coins and try to purchase something costing 1,000 coins, a screen will pop up out of nowhere like a slick-haired used car salesman and offer you an awesome deal along the lines of a 20 year payment plan @ 75% APR…
…or X amount of gems to make up for X amount of coins that you’re missing.

But remember – If you take the deal, you’ll be absolutely broke afterwards and won’t be able to heal/upgrade until you either run some more levels or wait for your areas to generate some more cash.

    Holy frggin’ bird flinger!!!

I can’t say I’ve ever bought anything from the store!

You could have just sent that money to me, and I would have deleted my account & scores so you’d be higher!! Haha

But seriously tho… I really have to know: What does 50 bucks get ya?

My strategy was to purchase infinite use of the cheapest birds with versatile powers useful in alot of situations.

It might sound funny at first, but one of those was Anakin (ep. 1) because his speeder lets him go nearly anywhere on the level, with Anakin tearing things up behind it along the way, and then have two impacts once he hits (explosion, then regular red bird hit). I can’t stress how many levels I’ve gotten high scores on using just one single Anakin!

I also used in game coins to be able to use birds on the pig levels, as well ad pigs on the bird levels. This lets me use darth maul to knock out thick obstacles, then use Anakin and his speeder to mop up the rest of the level.

Next options would be Leia or Padme because the force is VERY strong with them. I’m also considering the new Rebels bird (or pig) that shoots the infintly bouncing laser beam, because I’ve been wanting a “shooter”, and their power is damn near cheating.

Seriously? More like ALL the Rebel birds/pigs powers are damn near cheating! I couldnt believe Rovio put them in the game once I understood just how powerful they are. I mean… Lasers that go through ALL organic material AND bounce off of metal an infinite amount of times??? Thats sick!!!

Does android ABGo not have the ability to connect with Facebook?

After the latest update which brought the Sub Zero preview track, I was somehow logged out of my Rovio account, so I started playing a fresh game of AB Go, signed in as “Guest”.

Right off the slingshot, I noticed that Red has unlimited energy as long as you don’t unlock Stella!! Needless to say, I used that ‘no wait time’ to stock up on coins as well as gems from either completing challenges or finding them randomly on the track.

I was particularly pleased to find out that random gems can be found in time boom! Back when those weren’t found amongst the time boom tracks, it was just another reason I would rather do the challenges for race and fruit splat modes, since even if I didn’t complete all 3 challenge objectives, there was still a chance of finding a random gem … or 2 … or 3!! But now, I find myself trying to win challenges on any of the 3.

So, I created a new Rovio account to save my fresh game, and spent the next day or two stocking up on coins and gems. I decided not to spend gems on extra special-powers, power-ups, or skipping challenge objectives.

When I finally got Chuck, I had around 600 gems (coins are no longer useful once you’ve got Chuck).

I bought the 180 gem kart for Rocky Road (those tracks are the most fun, in my opinion), and bought the power-ups needed to complete challenges like “Use 3 power ups in 1 race” or “Use the king sling 3 times in a row”.

I just skipped my first challenge objection, which was “Use all power ups 3 times in a row”. After I did the math, that objective alone would have cost me 120 gems!!! I know skipping objectives is bad in the long run since the price of hitting that easy button goes up every time it’s pressed, but this time it was a fair deal!

None of my carts stats are maxed out. I use karts with different stats for certain jobs. On Speedway, I have a high speed / low handling kart, as well as a low speed / high handling kart. When I have to “nearly miss” a lot of obstacles, I use the low speed / high handling kart so that I’m not going so fast I lose control.

So I can vouch for PBA2014’s strategy. Never max the stats… At least not on EVERY kart you own, else they’re too similar to be unique tools!

Actually, I found a forum thread here on Angry Birds Nest which was full of people’s Game Center handles, which has already helped me beat the challenges without using gems.

However, I think my thread here in the Angry Birds Go section is still relevant because I must have put in close to 75 different Game Center handles, and so far only TWO of those 75 have any Go scores.

So… If you play AB Go, and would like to have friends to compete scores with in the game, post your handle here!
